For about 4-5 days, I wrote some responses to fellow GuangRe fans, but I couldn't post them. I was so sad. That's what we mean by being blocked.

 

It's actually a new feature of the forum - You can just reply to people via the regular way. If there are no other people replying at the same time, it will automatically group them together. 

 

Or you can click the "multi quote" option, it is shown as a + beside the word "quote"

don't worry, i asked the author if i could translate and post

a script that we like, and two highly-coordinated actors who were able to portray that type of love ---- we formed a sort of emotional resonance with the drama. of course, it naturally rose to the actors. we were excited to find that even away from the script, the actors fit our morals and eyes. 

of course shipping them as a couple became such a natural thing. truth be told, compared to calling it shipping a couple, it's more as though we ship a type of feeling, but unknowingly, it became something more. 

 

personally, i prefer to watch mystery/suspense type dramas, i consider myself quite a reasonable, logical person, i don't often watch historical idol dramas. when i watched ten miles of peach blossoms it had already been out for a year, it was only until i was bored and had nothing else to do, did i watch it. after i watched it, i really liked mo yuan, and pitied dongfeng. but at this time, i did not understand nor know about gwg/dlrb. i only thought that tmpb was quite a good drama, and if there happened to be a sequel, i would watch it, though i did not put too much attention on the matter. 

 

it was only until two days before pillowbook was to air, i had inadvertently saw the news on weibo that pb was coming out with the same cast, and got excited... afterwards, for this drama, staying up all night to watch it, i did, paying money to watch ahead i admit to, and a month after it finished broadcasting, i still couldn't get over this drama. laying on my bed, i only see scenes of pillowbook, sometimes unconsciously,  a couple lines from the drama will come out of my mouth... i suddenly think, what is with me these days? it's only a historical idol drama, is it really that good？

 

...the answer is yes, the drama really was that good . gwg's improvement in pb really was big, he became more natural on screen, added a lot of details, which really allows the audience to be delighted. rb was bright and intelligent as always, and more mature; aranya's dream was especially stunningly amazing. all this led me to want to understand the actual actors behind the script more. 

 

i searched the internet for all types of videos and news about the lives of gwg and dlrb, turned back to rewatch the farewell video posted by gwg, and my face was tearful once i had finished. this was the moment i knew i had completely, and irrevocably fell deep into the gr hole. 

 

alone, i took these memories one by one, preciously saving them, and thought many things that shouldn't have been into deep fascination... this is completely the sound of a xiaoweiba's heart. 

 

as a person who never reads the comments of the drama i'm watching, on the sixth time watching pb, carefully and purposefully opened the comments. the scene i remember the most clear is from bihai cangling. there was one sister who said that even though bihai cangling was clearly a very joyful scene, she still really wanted to cry, not because the most heartbreaking scenes were upon us, but because the ending was. her three long years of waiting and yearning were about to be over, she couldn't bear it. reading this comment, i felt my eyes redden. indeed, pillowbook is the only drama i wanted to watch alone without distractions, and is the only one, in the coming time ahead, that i will occasionally come back to rewatch. 

 

in the current modern age, condemning something or someone is within the finger's reach. when i see that someone saying gwg & rb's popularity are not compatible, because rb has many more fans than gwg, i do not agree. every agency will plan out a path for every artist they sign in, the beautiful rb has been on the "influence based" path since the beginning, while gwg was signed in on the old age of 28+. even though our gwg has wanted to fight with the 20+ groups, but in the end, he'll lose to his older age. this is also the reason why zhang yunlong has more fans, as the vast majority of weibo is made up of the younger generation. because gwg is considered an "unconventional" "influence based" celebrity, his fanbase is mostly made up of (generally speaking) more mature and stable people  (no intention to belittle other fanbases). in my personal opinion, gwg becoming famous at the age of 38 is actually just right, not a shred of craziness, he's completely evenly matched. 

 

i am considered quite a peaceful chaser of dramas/idols. if there's no news about these two but i miss them, then i'll just rewatch the drama, come into the weibo community to read our fellow sisters' posts, and with a crazy auntie smile, close up my phone and busy myself with my own things to do, it's nice this way. 

 

if there's a possibility, i would still hope for gwg & rb to collaborate on a couple more dramas, as there's only this one drama where both of them completely understood their character. let's not talk about anything else, but say that them collaborating again would be a win-win situation for all parties involved, no reason for anyone to refuse. i believe, not mattering what type of fan you are, once you have experienced time and growth, when you turn back to reminiscence the past, it will be a different kind of taste in your mouth. 

 

life is long and endless, i am doing well, you two are as well, i hope your careers are as bright as the starlight that shines on us, your life as happy as the normal person's.

@水蜜桃 Thank so much for sharing some wonderful bits to us. I guess everyone of us are having the same as the OP's thoughts to have both V and R to collaborate for more dramas together. Hopefully, we can have one soon. 

 

Talking about collaboration, there is still the 3rd and 4th book of Lotus Steps and Bodhi Fate respectively that the author is still writing on. Hopefully by the time these stories are acted out as drama like TMOPB and ELoD, we can still see V and R retained on their roles and collaborate together.

 

And guess by the time it happens, the flowers of the V and R has already bloomed and we can start to see more lovely interactions of them.

They were housemates? Ahhh no wonder jaywalk artists are so close! Reminds me of some old sugar:

1. The 5/20 post where V calls R his gf to which an artist jumped in saying R is her gf. R then says "Here you guys go again, fighting over the girl (her)."

2. In the Christmas special, when the host asks ZBB why he thought V is the best looking out of all of them whereas everyone else chose R, one of the girls could be overheard saying "it's because they (V and R) are always together". 

3. Same Christmas special: R said "pick me, pick me" when they unveil V's xmas gift which was a cactus or something.

Reading their history, i think they just click from the beginning. It whats happened to me and my best friend. We just click and be friends who always together whenever we go when we were in university just like them. We still close eventhough now she has married and has children. We may be a part but whenever we have reunion we just click again like we never apart. 

And we just bestfriend who has platonic relationship, i can imagine how close is Reba and V is since they are bestfriend as well as lovers. I know the feeling of having someone who 'click' with you. It's the best feeling to have in a relationship. Be it platonic or romantic

wow this is a super nice compilation of double standard! Seeing this pictures really make me believe that they are not acting but merely expressing how they really feel and are like in real life!
