@staygold HAHAHA...

AHHH SADLY KGE's costumes in this drama are just so so... I was just talking with my friend few hours ago.. why are KGE's stylist giving her all of these ugly outfit???????? Even on formal occasion her outfit were super boring... Comparing with her look in Goblin... Lee Eun bok, the director capture her so well, so pretty.. and shining... but in TKEM, her look are just soo bland..

I know!! Maybe it is to show that she is very plain as compared to his beautiful world? But they ended up making her look more than plain.

Y´all can entertain each other with jokes, you might end up with abs because of all the laughing (think of that positiv side) :mrgreen:

I like the sound when the horses are charging ahead and the swish when they pulled out the swords..

yea, that was coolly shot actually but I was more distracted by how the horses were riding in straight lines and I wondered where they got those horses from. the horses actually have to be trained to stand there in formation and that is something that requires months. usually, military or police horses can do that sort of thing because they do that for parades. do korea army/police have horses?

Personally IMHO Goblin is still KES's best work to date... and I think Lee Eun Bok and all the seasoned actors should also be credited as part of the reason for its success..

Anyway.... enough... ahh any muslim friends here? Happy Eid Mubarak guys.. :wub:

Lastly.. I dunno why I'm still hung up with this fan edit... :wub:

I got this house @Ameera Ali

I haven´t read literature for some years now, unless it´s for my uni so I don´t know how this situation will turn out. But I at least get to look at handsome oppas while I pretend to be reading :mrgreen:

The horse sequences will looks great IF it happened in the meadow or savanna or even dessert NOT in the asphalt highway....

I love those huge war sequences. some of the chinese movies have awesome cinematography during those scenes. I don't even watch for the plot. I just watch for the feel of those scenes only. there is a grand cinematic impact during those scenes.

actually it is well done. I didn't watch goblin as it wasn't that interesting to me. this fan edit though looks like it could be an interesting drama though if it was real. ^_^

Me too, Hollywood and C ancient drama/movie do ancient war scenes best....One of the best wars scene is LOTR and Red Cliff(C movies). C drama by far are way superior in terms of cinematography compared to K drama. Maybe because Mainland China has the biggest nature studio in the world.

I don’t think Korea has military on horses....So maybe those horses are show horses...

now am really curious where these horses came from. in many hollywood movies, during these big fight sequences, they use actual soldiers as extras because it is easy to co-ordinate large groups of men who are trained to move a certain way. braveheart is an example of that...

<<The production of Braveheart was given the use of Curragh Camp, which is an army barracks in County Kildare. They were able to use the firing range for the battle scenes and members of the reserve for acting roles. This meant that Mel Gibson had access to large groups of disciplined soldiers who could take direction and could be thrown into different costumes each day in order to portray different armies. >>

have no idea why I am more fascinated by these horses then lee min ho. :sweatingbullets:

@cenching ~ uncle google is not giving me much but apparently, the horse maximus in the drama has already acted in several commercials and is scheduled for another drama after this one. someone even has a facebook page just for the horse. looks like this is more interesting than the drama itself. ^_^

watching this scene in HD just for the horses and the riders.

the riders are really in straight lines and they all have the same great form (even better than lee min ho!) -- am wondering if these are equestrians from some sports academy perhaps? and uncle google tells me that riding on asphalt roads is actually tough for many of these creatures. some asphalt is covered with a slick coating, which may cause dangerous slips or even falls. oooh, poor horsie! hope none of them got hurt. am tempted to randomly ask this question on the king thread but don't want to get tomatoes thrown at me that I am just looking at the horses instead of admiring lee min ho. :sweatingbullets:

wait a second, isn't the female lead supposed to be a cop? why does she need rescuing from lee min ho and horse? shouldn't she rescue herself? :sweatingbullets:

Yes! I don't know why the screen writer Kim Eun Sook always manages to make her FLs in need of a man to rescue her....? I mean even in Secret Garden, the FL was supposed to be a fierce stunt woman. Yet half of the time she endured being treated poorly by the ML.

<sigh>

I can't remember SeGa @partyon but here on TKEM, this is the rundown of what happened before that. FL was abducted and brought to Kingdom. She woke up tied up in a warehouse with goons and a young boy (mysterious character) showed up and let her escape. FL fought the goons with also a knife (used by the boy) and was able to get a car key on one man and drove far away until the fuel is up. And when she's on an intersection she saw a phone booth and dialed a hotline specifically for a personal happy new year to the king and left a message "its me, I'm here, someone is chasing me"(non verbatim) and was able to end call when a truck van aimed her at the booth and crashed but she got out and was knocked out. And even a little bit disoriented and injured she managed to hit the truck driver.

TKEM FL basically fought her way out here. @Lmangla
