@cenching exactly. It’s strange that she doesn’t seem to have strong affection for A-Li considering he’s their child, literally the product of their love for each other. YH always looked out for A-Li, spent time with him and was always concerned for his well-being. I’m a mom too and I just find the show’s portrayal of her as a mother very lacking.
