just saw the figure skating program. the much tooted valieva underperformed and finished in rank 4. i saw there was much discussion about her regarding her doping use. in any case, in the end you see that cheating is going to always leave a mark.

 

you could see that she was having trouble, probably due to the media storm.

yea im wondering, whether they also doped, and if not, why only her?

it is a good one. caught it accidentally on tv many years ago. even read the book it is based on which was interesting. elizabeth gaskell was a contemporary of charles dickens and so the chapters were relased in some magazine. so it was a serialized story (think drama eps). gaskell had an interesting style where she would start each chapter with a poem. then there was some social commentary about labour, working conditions and other social issues of the time that was entwined with the story. 

 

and random aside, when BBC aired the series, their site went down because of the number of fans who logged in to make comments. talk about early fan fever!!!!

I must say yeah it's too expensive for a bag of potato chips and the lines are so long! I really miss the taste tho. It's on my all time fave potato chips (not a fan of their fish skin tho). Good thing they're already available at supermarkets. They used to be at the kiosks in the middle of the mall.

@agenth  their jumps were high and so difficult so no wonder they got so high points. But they were not the most beautiful programs. 
 

Did they give kamila a choice of using illegal drugs? I mean she’s so young. 
Yeh it kind of suspicious but until there is no proof I trust that everyone is clean. Even though the history about Russian athletes have shown a different story.
