I agree that the intro theme is too tranquil, and also too long, hahaha!

 

LMAO, Pachelbel's Canon in D was an innocent, usual choice for wedding marches until it became that tone before the explosion(s).

 

About why they were easily let off at the end, my theory is that everybody lived, the actual bomb plotters were also caught, and the root cause from 5 years ago was also found out. That, aside from the clean records of the two, and them being the tippers.

 

Agree that the time loop wasn't explained why it started, unless it's divine intervention to give justice for Mengmeng and to save the innocent passengers. 

 

As ML explained though, they're trapped in the loop until no one dies even when the explosion happens. The explosion is meant to happen, and for them to escape the loop, all passengers, police, and bystanders should be saved.

 

As of ML starting to have those bleedings later on, IMO, it's because he wasn't intended to be in the "infinite" loop as FL was, until he was pulled in when FL attempted to "save" him on 6th loop.

 

Second to the last loop, driver didn't stop in that last stop, so I guess the police in that loop didn't have much choice but to flash the sirens to make him stop the bus and warn other road users?

 

Perhaps it was meant that FL will be the solo main player to solve it. Hence, in the later loops, he was also waking up later, and it was FL in the end who executed the sequences of initial steps to prevent the couple from detonating the pressure cooker.

The most glaring issue for me was when they waited till the last exact moment in the last loop to tell the driver the truth behind his daughter's death. She shows him the video just seconds before he was going to pull that damn whistle when she had all the time in the world to just stop him. I guess it's just for some dramatic effect at the last minute. Lol.
