Netflix, I believe, has a deal with jtbc. Some of the dramas (Life, The Beauty Inside, The Good Detective) didn’t show on Netflix until the series was finished airing. So this may end up on Netflix then.

i just finished ep 1 with subtitles...his life is such a mess!!!He married her with a fake name...so many lies...and there are their kids,her new important job his secrets...will she be able to forgive him?Telling the truth i don't know if i could...

Yes, even from the synopsis I believe it is hard for this family. I could understand the need to lie about his identity but at one point, if he started a family, he should have made a decission then (your job or your family). It will so hard for his wife when she will find the truth. I have not watched it yet but I assume he agreeded to do the job to stop the wife because he knew others will do it if he won`t try and he wants to protect her at the same time? Well, I think it is hard for both of them. It is a mess.

Episodes 1 and 2 are already subbed on different sites. Kissasian, Watchasian, Dramacool. It's also available on the AsiaFlix app. With the sites just exit the pop ups or download the eps so you won't be bothered by them. I really wanted to watch Undercover on legal streaming apps but that won't be possible since it's only available on TVing. Ahahaha

I guess we'll see. It would be wonderful if they show it now while it's ongoing because the international fans really wants it. Huhuhu

 

Oh, I read from an article yesterday that JTBC is the 2nd largest shareholder of TVing, maybe that's why they have exclusive rights for Undercover. Maybe it's some kind of strategy so Koreans will download the app? They're targeting the domestic market. Just a thought.

The problem, in addition to the annoying pop-ups, with the illegal sites is that, at least for me, it can shut down.  I watched about 15 minutes of the 1st episode, then the screen went black and I had to log in again.  Has this happened to anyone else watching on an illegal site?  So annoying.  I will try again tonight.

You're right. It's the same house. So for us fans of I Have A Lover, Undercover is somehow a continuation. Hahahahaha

Oh? That's too bad. No, I've never experience that before. Just the pop ups. Maybe it depends on the site?

I know that Jung-Hyun / Suk-Kyu (I don`t know how to call him) hide his identity and lived a lie with his family but I feel so sorry for him. He fell in love with Yeon-Soo and could not tell her the truth. Yes, he should have told her the truth before their marrige but I believed Yeon Soo would have broke up with him. He chose to not tell anything and he lived all his life with a huge burden. He left the job and dedicated his life to the family but he always lived with the.guilt. My heart broked for Suk Kyu`s father. His son left him to live a new life and Suk Kyu came back to his side when he was a patient in the sanatorium without recognizing his son. I have preferred Suk Kyu to tell the truth and lose Yeon Soo than abandoning his life and his father but that can`t be changed now.

 

The present events. I thought Suk Kyu will try to stop Yeon Soo because of the blackmail but I am glad how supportive he was. He wants her to pursue her dreams. He knows how dangerous is the agency. I guess he will try to protect his wife and family but in the same time he will try to cover his true identity. I cheer for Yeon Soo to discover the corruption on the high level (they are using the  government agency to do the ilegal things and crimes for exemple) but the fight will be so hard.

 

I love the most the relationship between Suk Kyu and his son. I want to say that the young actor playing Seung-Goo is doing a very good job. I can see an autistic boy very well. The manierism, how he avoids the gaze of others ,how he fixes himself on the routine, on what he has to do (focused about favourite objects or activities),  his love for animals.  He needs the routines and rituals. When he is stressed he is hurts himself. I know the writer did a good job documenting but the young actor portrays well.  

 

I can`t wait o watch episode 4.

I so agree I love the most the relationship between Suk Kyu and his son as well. The young actor is doing a awesome job.

Binge watch this. So in Ep 1 YS was pointing a gun JH/SK that's the present time. it mean the rest of so just flasback.  All the years JH/SK was ablle to hide his true identity. I'm amazon considering, the children are older now.

 

YS is nominated to head the CIO, the department that will check for corrupt officias abusing their powers. Someone at JH/SK past what's this to be stop. I'm confuse though. If he's a member of the inteliigence service, then he'snot aware that the corrupt officials are the higher ups and his superiors hence the reason he's asked to stop his wife from becoming the head of  CIO.    I'm starting Ep 2.
