To be honestly, it’s probably because she spent the WHOLE day of her actual birthday - sunrise to sunset with LMH! Those pictures are from different celebrations on different days. It would be too obvious who KGE is spending her special day with of other friends posted pictures from the celebrations during the week... hehehehe

I'd say, "There is always a first time for everything."

 

People change, and especially as we get older, our priorities change and with that is the desire to do what is right in order to get what we want most in life even if it means doing things differently than before. LMH has matured and they cannot expect him to make the same choices he made when he was younger. I am just hoping that his fans grow up along with him and respect the choices he makes in life.

 

Like what sensible fans say in our country about the controlling, bordering on obsessiveness, and overly entitled fans, we are mere fans. We do not own our idols, and if we truly love them, we should give them our support for the choices that they make especially those that will certainly make them happy. If you can't accept your idol's choices, then maybe it's about time you stop being a fan and concentrate more on your own life.

 

I was able to read through a lot of the comments on his late night post and, man oh man, I actually saw comments there of ladies shipping themselves with LMH, and they were NOT subtle about it! I guess, a healthy dose of "reality check" wouldn't hurt, ayt? We all do, at some point.

Your point is on target. Made me feel really emotional reading this. He doesn't need the spoflight at all with close to 18 million followers in his IG alone. But he needs people to acknowledge that he has someone special in his life and we need to support that. What he has done was far from stealing her spotlight. He has placed her close to him, protecting her, and sharing the same spotlight. He is announcing that he will let her share his light. They will do this together. 

 

Gosh, my heart has all sorts of feels even as I am writing this. What he did made me love him and I am not even a Minoz. Damn, I cannot say I was a fan of KGE before this. I enjoyed TKEM and now a fan of them together - MinEun!

I have a friend who are long time minoz. She said to me she never know LMH will be like this and she saw something different with LMH right know. Especially when she watched TKEM BTS, she said "LMH eyes was so warm to KGE. He wasnt like this with other costars even with PSH" and then she became MINEUN shipper

Well said! I got really emotional just reading "They will do this together" because I know how hard it'll be for them to go public, but nothing will stop LMH from protecting his baby <3.

So we have arrived to the topic of Minoz's perspective seeing the comments loaded with KGE birthday wishes. We, as shippers hoped he would post sth although our rational mind thinking it's impossible. However, he indeed posted, even twice, from the beginning of the day and at the end of the day of 2nd July of all days. I even imagine how LMH laugh seeing his comments section loaded with KGE. 

 

Then, I am trying to put my mind on Minoz's shoes who are not shippers. Yes, we cannot disregard their opinion as Minoz bc in the end they are his fans. Even myself, as a shipper, I just comment randomly not even mentioning KGE, bc I thought it's indeed uncomfortable, my conscience saying 'NO, you can't comment abt KGE.' But, again, LMH is not dumb. He knows it is her birthday and it's impossible fans not connecting it to her. Also, I see the comments are mostly from his casual fans, no? LMH is a big star, you cannot say his 17,8 M followers on IG are all Minoz. His comments are varied from fans, shippers and casual fans. This is the reality, and as fans I think we need to face it, we cannot control those thousand comments and LMH is def aware of it. 

 

Well, in this fan pop world, shipping is common. So far, I rly love this ship bc we know how to strain ourselves when it's too far and too delusional. I believe our wish for the couple are all the same, it's just we need to fuel it a lil bit.

Finally finished reading the latest five pages 

All I want to say is after yesterday I can proudly say I am not delusional and there are a few conclusions in my heart.

 

1. LMH is deeply in love with KGE.

He chose to post a video in the early hours with a romantic song depicting almost exactly what’s going on between KGE and him. If this is not a love confession, what is? Who has done this before in the K industry? no one. He is brave, and he is in love no doubt. OIM said he wouldn’t do this or do that. All I want to voice out is - you always go lengths for the one you truly love. His behaviours are considered to be strange just because of his stardom. If he is a normal guy, it’s completely reasonable. He is a man in love after searching for so long. 
 

2. He wants the world to know in his own way. To protect her in cases if nasty comments come when they make the official announcement.

Even now, with that obvious love confession, some fans can still be in denial. Personally I think that’s one of the reasons for him to make this love confession. If one day they come out officially, he knows everything would be dig out to peek at the progress of their relationship. And this video would serve as the evidence of his love for her. 
 

He loves her. And that’s the most important. People may be negative about KGE, but his love can put this to rest. It’s like “I love her no matter what you say.” And that’s enough.

 

3. He spent the whole day with KGE yesterday.

Perhaps he posted it again before the day ended just because he himself didn’t want it to end (just pure speculation for this point of view) just like the lyrics, they can finally spend time together ALONE  and OUTDOORS. This is the first birthday they spent together. How can it be not meaningful for him? Perhaps the reasons behind the second post are simple. He wanted to memorise and document it. (Personal thoughts on for this point).

 

4. Again, amazed by the detective skills of our talented fan base. I would never in a million life time notice the shadow of that cute bicycle.

All this talk about LMH protecting KGE and how OIMs are reacting to the ship reminded of this line from the drama: 

 

"I’ll open all the doors in the universe."  

 

In this case, the doors are the hearts and understanding of everyone associated with the both of them. From his early morning post on KGE's birthday, he is declaring the state of his heart to the world, hoping that people would understand that he also has an interest in falling in love. I think by posting that video, with his almost 18 million followers, he is able to reach out to KGE, Minoz, Arjenia, OIMs, their agencies, friends, and family. Opening all the doors to the universe seems like a tough mission, but we all saw how he was able to do that in TKEM, and hopefully, people will allow him to do that again, but this time in real life. What a brave man you are LMH! I hope someday people will understand your intentions and support you with all your decisions. <3

@Helloswmh sorry to cut your post, chinggu. I’d also like to add - as I believe there’s a few of us here in our 30’s and all how this number liberates a person. At a younger age one wants to be happy and seek validation while being too cautious with how others will perceive our image. But once a person reach the age of 30 (and I must say, many youngsters will do everything to stop time to stay in their 20s), a person matures in a way that your past turns into a product of who you’d become. The image your protecting becomes secondary to happiness. 30’s is that Eureka moment where you discover that you and only you can control your fate. Not other people’s perception nor their approval. That’s why most people at this glorious age makes choices that others deem out-of-character but at the same time sees how blissful you are. They said age is just a number but numbers holds power in a person’s life. That’s the law of the universe, now I’m gonna dig deeper into that blackhole and Einstein’s book in case I forgot what I learned in school. And LMH, a big hallyu star he may be, is still human like everyone of us. 

He’s at that age where his happiness weighd more than anything else and he’ll do everything to keep it. 

Now, I know exactly what this shipper life will do to me that’s why this will be the first and only ship I’m boarding.

KGE is stubborn to a bit less degree as LMH. She only follows people she knows if she’s added first. LMH has to do the first move on that. Until he decides to follow her, they will not follow each other on insta. Example: Suho who is one of her close friends (invited to Memories of the Sword premier), but they dont follow each other on insta. There may be a few more. She has few exceptions, her dad and brother, and I guess because she loves the updates of her niece and nephew. LMH will only fall on the exception if he becomes family or co parent to a dog. - my two cents for the day. LOL

I dont engage a comment conversation with OIM or bashers. But just for purposes of discussion, assuming LMH isn’t into clues because he is just not like that based on his past relationships could only mean two things:

 

1. His fans were not interested to his past relationships that didn’t care connecting the dots or dig for clues.
 

2. He is clumsy, messed up and posted a picture sent to him by KGE. 

 

BUT saying KGE wasn’t with him on that bike trail, I may have to, this one time, virtually zip zap the OIMs.

Should he know GE 5 years or 7 years earlier, I would say there’s almost no potential in this ship bcs different life approach and him will be busy protecting himself rather than the relationship. 

 

And I think protecting the relationship doesn’t always mean you stay low and quiet about them. Sometimes you just have to shout it to the world. Not too often tho. On a special occassion, it might work. Like on her birthday, 

Only those in love knows the feeling of love. Maybe before this...LMH never knew the real feeling and only now he knows..he got the taste of kge's lips and he could not get over it...plus with her jovial personality and there is something about her that makes people love her once they knew her...look at how many stars that talked highly abt her plus she's being a popular girl in her university days...not to mention how many guys saying upfront that they like her..its just that she only regards them as friends. Therefore the reason of his current behavior...mr giddy and  mr obviously in love and  he wants his fans to know but bit by bit. He respects and loves his fan so much and thats the reason why he is doing what he's doing now. He wants them to know his feeling of love towards someone special.

¡)He never patted any girl's hair before, he said himself it was too cute for his taste.

 

¡¡)He never squished his nose while kissing before, remember the rooftop kiss in city hunter? Just look at the tilt of his head which was a deliberate, conscious attempt to save his nose. (Please refer to TKEM kisses zoomed versions to see his nose pressed hard against her cheeks.)

 

iii)he never posted any picture of his female costar before in his IG.

 

iv)he never updated so frequently before. (Not that I am complaining. I love him being like this). Remember he changed his FB picture after 6 long years.

 

So my point is, there's first time of everything. Specially if you've found "the one".
