I see it in the second picture, but I agree with you…he looks more like Timothy C. I want to see him play to form a more solid opinion. (I love men’s volleyball! )

Tom Cruise in Top Gun was really, really handsome. Honestly, I can't think of any other Hollywood actor who's as good-looking as him. Maybe younger Leo Di Caprio, but Tom would still be more appealing to me face wise.

It is interesting, though, it’s not like MLs like Kim Soo-hyun and Lee Jong-suk ever play supporting roles anymore. Kdrama hierarchy is definitely a thing. I think in K movies and in Hollywood the question of who stars and who supports is much more fluid. 

 

Everyone, I forgot how silly and hilarious The Three Amigos is, especially the first half. Highly recommend.

That's what everyone said after he stole the scenes in the following dramas:

 

1) Love in the Moonlight (2016) (he was 19 years old at that time)

 

2) Vincenzo (2021) (he was 24 years old at that time)

If we are being honest, Kwakkie's role was the one that made the biggest impressions in Vincenzo's viewers. I know @Ameera Ali twin and @LeftCoastOppa dongsaeng wanna pretend it was THAT pigeon, but it wasn't. Everyone gave so much praise to Kwakkie's acting and his character's early demise hit hard. Who didn't cry when Jang Han Seo had to say goodbye to Vincenzo?

 

He also stole the limelight in It's Okay To Not Be Okay. He has played ML two times: weekend drama Never Twice and in Gaus Electronics.

 

Yet he always seems to be relegated back to playing support roles, even though he is an amazing actor with natural acting skills. It's baffling by now. Comments online by especially by international fans is increasingly negative about Kwakkie not getting lead roles - people are always equally sad that he doesn't seem to get a proper lead role.

 

My theory about my boy's lack of lead roles is the following:

1) Kwakkie doesn't fit the k-netz' beauty standards. He has deep set eyes - they don't look typical "Korean".

2) Kwakkie looks older than his age.

3) His agency isn't doing a proper job.

 

There seems to be some similarities with Lee Soo Hyuk oppa here.... @joccu @agenth your thoughts?

Sometimes I think actors might be afraid of leading roles.  

 

I only watched KDY's scenes in ''Vincenzo'' and ''Big Mouth''.  

He was also good in Never Twice but the rating was bad.

Anyway, he is too good to be just a supporting actor.  

 

 

 

 

WDH was great as supporting actor in ''Save Me'' and TKTEM.

I like him in Joseon Attorney but the rating is really bad. 

 

Lee Joon is also better in supporting roles than in leading roles, but the drama ''My Father is Strange'' 

was very successful.

Lee Joon is great, but for some reason I prefer him as an idol. I still miss MBLAQ.
