2022 was a sad year for me. Both my parents died this year.

 

I hope next year would be better. I still have my elder sister and younger brother.

 

Fortunately I am living with my sister. My brother is working in another continent, haven't seen him for years.

Every single person in that stadium was happy since Argentina and Poland both went through. In contrast, everyone in the Mexico v Saudi Arabia stadium was sad .

 

Watching Spain and Japan right now and I want both to do well. There are only a couple scenarios where both teams could go through, and they would both involve Germany not going through...which would be a shock!

 

Are you a fan of Neuer? He's my favorite goalie of all time. (I have favorite players everywhere. )

@the_sweetroad  yeah. it going to pretty hard match tomorrow for south korea and even if they win they need for ghana to lose and for Uruguay for only scoring once. 

 

Germany is out. Japan won Spain 2-1. I´m really liking Japan team. they are just awesome.

Japan played so hard and were fun to watch. Seems like Spain will go into the next game without as much confidence.

@the_sweetroad  true. But Germany and Belgium hadn’t played well this year. If you want to win you need score goals. World Cup is always different. Anything can happen. France broke to curse.

And it's really interesting to me how the last few days have been full of:

Stadium A: both teams going through, everyone happy (Portugal and Korea, Japan and Spain, Argentina and Poland)

Stadium B: both teams eliminated, everyone sad (Uruguay and Ghana, Costa Rica and Germany, Mexico and Saudi Arabia)

 

But chingu I've had zero time to catch up on Vengeance of the Bride because of the World Cup.

Ok we will start from Buddha or Monk fruit the easiest to recognise, clockwise from outer to inner circle. 

1. Buddha/Monk fruit

2. Figs

3. Sweet&Bitter Almond Kernels

4. Preserved Mandarin Orange? I only know it as Kat Peng in Cantonese ("Mandarin Orange Biscuit" the literal translation)

5. Dried Pears

6. Dried Sugar Canes

7. Preserved Dates

 

While waiting for the drink to be ready, I steep the shells of Monk Fruit in hot water. So good! Love the taste!
