To be a C-ent actor is a tough balancing act especially for beginners. Yeah, his PR staff and agency/management should be better. The competition is fierce, that's why he should do his best to have a clean image and watch his words and actions especially when in public, cos eyes and ears are everywhere. His PR and handlers shouldn't be sloppy. And yeah, they can learn from the Xiao Zhan PR debacle that had cost so much to the talent they were supposed to look after.

I've never opened a thread for a particular person or a group, and I haven't really looked at the other similar threads yet for such, whether it's better to just open one for the whole group, and another one for each of the members who are active not just with J-pop but with other things such as dramas, movies, variety shows, commercials, and runways...?

 

Once I'm not so busy with things (when I can sit doing nothing for at least 3 hours, LOL!) I can plan to create those threads and maintain it as much as I could, cos this won't be like the drama and movies that once the show is over, there won't be much posts anymore afterwards, right?

He's in showbiz long enough to know where he's lacking and that he can train if he wants to. It's embarrassing that there are write-ups that his co-cast members has to compensate for his lacklustre acting.

Yeah, chingu! That's the sad truth with dramas & movies threads. Once the drama or movie finishes airing, the members disappear to the thin air. And I am sure J-pop won't meet that fate. You guys get updates about them everyday, right? So the threads will boost up in no time.

 

And you can always ask help from my fellow moderator @SC2019 about the Japanese drama land. She is in charge of the section so feel free to ask her anything!

In one show where he worked with Lusi, she was getting so much flak for not being on par in the looks department. But as the show progressed, it became quite obvious who was  not quite on par. A pity.

There’s still time for him to change if he wants and not feel defeated. He’s young.

Zhao Lusi showed them. I like her acting most of the time, but that drama, no I can't watch it because of the ML. After 4 dramas and movie of watching the same constipated face of that ML, I just can't anymore no matter how good the other cast members are or story is.

 

His acting sticks out like a sore thumb 🙄🤦‍♀️

If months ago write-ups are true, that the projects picked by his handlers for him are 1) he's the ML, and 2) similar to previous roles, then I'm not going to hope much that there'll be something to look forward to. 😑

With regard to @gm4queen's comments regarding this thread, I think that she meant that it's okay to post any stuff you like here, but that it would be better to post updates about specific dramas / ships / groups / kpop / idols / actors / actresses in their respective threads in their own forum sections. Reason being that there might be other members on this forum who would like to join the discussions, but don't want to do it here on the +- thread as they aren't regular +- members.

 

Also, if it this thread becomes too focused on one specific topic/subject, it might cause issues that some people could feel left out as they don't feel like they have anything to contribute to the topic. This thread has always been welcoming any discussions - it's like a water cooler / coffee shop place where a wide variety of topics are being discussed. I have always felt that people are super nice on this thread, liking each and every one's posts regardless of topic at hand. 😘Personally I have always enjoyed being on this thread, and I have learnt so many things from all of you - even about topics I know nothing about. 😎 You guys are the best!

Please shed some light on how serious this incident was. Of course 30 people being injured from turbulence is horrible in itself, but the fact that a man AND a 2 year old got stuck in the ceiling has our chingu in a state of shock!

 

How is it even possible?

 

Could this have caused the plane so much damage that it could have caused even more serious issues? This damage looks super extensive to us.

 

 

Also, why are people not wearing seatbelts?
