rocher22
The meadow fight scene was pretty cool... This slow-burn romance develops naturally. Although I feel sorry for Sergeant Han, the CP and JY simply fell in love. I cant blame them for that. Still, Im glad Hwan told her to go to her betrothed. She was honest but not completely. I laughed at how clueless Hwan was. loved their bickering..

rocher22
ep 15 Finally, the mystery of the bracelet is solved. Myung Jin connected many things but not that his student is actually a woman. Lord Cho is so cheerful and happy but I dont think he knows the condition of his grandson. I think the girl from Han family is in love with Sergeant Han. that was a nice scene... the scene when MJ thought that Eunuch Go is the Crown Prince..so hilarious...
Auntie Mame
Sergeant and Guardian Warrior is getting less and less screen time. They are essential to solving the mysteries because they have authority and freedom to investigate. Whereas, ML & FL are limited to what they can do and where they can go. Wonder if the script has changed. And, the emphasis is, now, heavily focused on solving the dilemma of the romance triangle.???

rocher22
I wonder if the bodyguard knows about his twin brother... The woman from Song family...I suppose it is the Court Lady Choi..or the Queen... The monk was hiding the red fish because then everyone would know that he is from the Byungch..place. Lord Han doesnt know that the girl's mother died. its a little strange the King didnt check it out. Im a little disappointed that Sergeant Han carelessly ignored the maids who were carrying that bowl with burnt herbs. Myung Jin... I hope Sergeant Han will be the savior of the princess.
Thong Thin
@rocher22 @Auntie Mame I finally caught up with Ep 16... I am puzzled as to why the Queen wants the Princess to be kill ? Just because she wants to have his little brother cured. Oh no... so there are twins in the palace....Tae Kang who has been CP Hwan guardian warrior.... .... is he Good or Bad ???????????? and how will CP Hwan or Eunuch Go test him . I suspect the Song lady is Court Lady Choi.. The king gave authority to Lord Han to get the right candidate for CP Hwan as his bride, however I think Lord Han must have been mislead with false information. No doubt Myung Jin looks stupid... but when he puts on his thinking cap , he finally connect the dots...he even knows the real indentity of CP Hwan, Eunuch Go and his assistant. Lucky CP Hwan managed to find out from Park Han Su what happened 10 years ago...Right State Minister is the one reported false info to the King and he is the culprit. Coming back to the bracelt, wish we could know who wants Min Jae Yi family killed & why ? I doubt is Min Jae Yi lover.
Auntie Mame
@Thong Thin The Princess witnessed the young Prince confessing that he gave the peach to the former crown prince. The combination of the peach and the herbal medicine caused his death. The queen is afraid that the Princess may tell people what she heard from the little boy. It was very machiavellian of the Minister to use the little boy to give the peach because this incident will become his blackmail tool to control the queen and the little boy. When the boy becomes King, the Minister will control the King. And, through the King the entire kingdom. 2

He wants to control and take over the Kingdom. The King is so powerless, he can't & dare not get rid of Lord Cho even though he knew what he does behind his back. So, in order not to have Lord Cho gaining more power, the King chooses and make sure CP Hwan does not get a lady from the Cho descendant.

backstreetboysfan
Spoiler Park Hyung Sik And Yoon Jong Seok Aren’t Sure If They Can Completely Trust Heo Won Seo In “Our Blooming Youth” DRAMA PREVIEW More secrets are being revealed in the next episode of “Our Blooming Youth.” “Our Blooming Youth” tells the love story of Lee Hwan (Park Hyung Sik), a crown prince suffering from a mysterious curse, and Min Jae Yi (Jeon So Nee), a genius woman falsely accused of murdering her family. Spoilers Episode 17 of “Our Blooming Youth” will look back on Lee Hwan’s first meeting with his bodyguard Choi Tae Kang (Heo Won Seo), the behind-the-scenes story of Choi Tae Kang passing his martial arts test, and much more. In the previous episodes, Lee Hwan was taking care of Choi Tae Kang, a guard who was diligent in his duties and carried out all of his responsibilities flawlessly. However, Min Jae Yi soon became suspicious, especially when she encountered him twice in the same place. Finally, Lee Hwan and Min Jae Yi came to the realization that Choi Tae Kang is actually a twin. After all, there’s no way he could have been in two places at once. To cite a specific instance, while Choi Tae Kang was helping Min Jae Yi to repair her house, a person with the exact same face as Choi Tae Kang was seen somewhere else. More importantly, Choi Tae Kang’s twin has been shown to be related to many of the events that have happened thus far, the most important being the Byeokcheon Rebellion. Could Choi Tae Kang be in kahoots with them as well? For Lee Hwan, who placed so much trust in the escort, there is nothing but confusion following this revelation. The newly released photos show a completely different side from all of the tension that has been piling up with every revealed secret. In one shot, Lee Hwan, Han Sung On (Yoon Jong Seok), and Choi Tae Kang are smiling together. Choi Tae Kang is holding his certificate for martial arts while the other two look at him proudly, showing viewers just how much their friendship has strengthened over the years. Spoiler However, no matter how strong their friendship may be, there’s no way to predict what Choi Tae Kang’s next move will be and where his true loyalties lie. Therefore, Lee Hwan must carefully analyze every moment he spent with Choi Tae Kang, from the moment they met up until the present. Amongst all of this reflection, will Lee Hwan be able to find any clues leading him back to Choi Tae Kang’s twin and the Byeokcheon Rebellion? The next episode of “Our Blooming Youth” will air on April 3 at 8:50 p.m. KST. https://www.soompi.com/article/1577113wpp/park-hyung-sik-and-yoon-jong-seok-arent-sure-if-they-can-completely-trust-heo-won-seo-in-our-blooming-youth
rocher22
Highlights of todays episode for me are - The temple fight scene... the princess didnt hesitate to protect Sungon... - The Shield Investigation Team and his Leader... The Queen is the woman from the Song family...but how did she manage to hide it from her uncle... The conspiracy against the royal family is very complicated but the Queen executed everything perfectly. Hwan didnt doubt the Queen for a moment. It was a little annoying that no one told the CP about those peaches.. 1

rocher22
The library scene was beautifully captured... Finally, Sungon and Jaeyi talked.. He was calm and she was honest. I think he knows from before that she doesnt love him but he still cant admit it to himself. The Queen is a smart villain. My favorite scenes are when Shield Investigation Team solves some mysteries...like that coded letter.
rocher22
I hope the princess is still alive... She was quite naive even though she lived in the palace. Im glad Jaeyi made all these reasonable accusations against the Queen. I think Hwan is a little scared that it could be true.
frozentundra
I think for the crown prince, having the theories about the queen be true just makes the case all the worse--hard on his family and hard on the country. So of course he doesn't want to believe it. But I mean... I'm hoping the princess isn't out of the picture yet. She and the sergeant make a good pair. I also like the silly detective guy and his relationship with the maid. They are funny, and well matched. While I am enjoying the mystery, I have to admit that I'm not really feeling the chemistry of the leads. It's something about the way it's written, but I can't quite put my finger on it. It feels like the maid is a complete person who happens to be disguising herself as a man and as the detective's assistant, but the FL doesn't seem to exist outside of the specific role she's playing. Yes, she is afraid for her life and wants to prove her innocence--but anyone in that position would feel the same. What else is there about her personally that sets her apart from other people? She and the cp are so focused on the mystery that they don't seem to take much time for feelings, whether happy or sad ones. To this point, she is engaged on paper to someone else, and there has been a queen selection. I feel like even if they understand the times they live in and what they will be required to do, we should still see them feeling more sadness or distress or longing or...something. Instead, they have a few lines in which they don't say what they are thinking and it's quickly back to the mystery. While I don't think all dramas require romance, it often feels like they set something up in this one, and then don't follow through, so it leaves me with the feeling that something is missing. (I read somewhere that the original novel it's based on has no romance at all, so I guess they are trying to add some in?) So while I like the characters and hope they end up together, it's very, very, very light on the romance here. As for the middle aged couple next door to the detective's house, the drama has done a great job of making them complex and interesting. On the one hand, they are bad guys! Fomenting rebellion, etc. Mr. Nice Assassin Next Door and all. But they also were from the village that was mowed down by the evil Right Minister, and it's natural to want justice for that. And they are kind to take in their child's friends as their own children. And they are even nice neighbors! Getting in good with the crown prince without realizing who he is just makes for a nice little story. I am super interested in where they are going with this one. Well, there are still two episodes left, so let's see what they come up with next. 1

realistic2280a
Finally the final week!... yes... super slow drama, and that painting behind the Crown Prince seating convimced me that this is a cheap production. Sigh... until the next drama PHS!... With the dearth of dramas around, will watch the last two episodes as i want to know how they are going to end this drama!
