rocher22
PHS deserves a better role than this. Army vs Royal Guard... I felt sorry for Chief Han... I dont like it when Hwan is jealous because he looks a bit pathetic..he is the CP and he knows that JY and Han are still engaged. I hope Sergeant Han and the Princess will have more scenes together... Im glad he heard some kind words from the princess.
Thong Thin
@rocher22 I'm watching because of PHS & I never miss any of his drama/movies. Yea, you were right about the FL, her acting is not in par with PHS. However, I will continue to watch at my own pace, curious to know who sent the ghost letter.
rocher22
Prince Hwan was lonely and distrustful before he brought JY to the palace. But we also saw that he is intelligent and insightful. He made that secret practice room. And now somehow that seems that JY has to guide the CP. Scholar Park..

booha
Enjoy watching handsome Park Hyung-Sik Though I also like Sung-On, I’m glad CP Hawn and Jae-Yi are given more screen time to develop their relationship. But the princess is cute and adorable. She seems to bring out better chemistry for Sung-On. Jae-Yi’s rather uninhibited spirit suits well with CP Hawn, reserved yet mischievous underneath whereas Sung-On is too square. Slowly I’m beginning to like these two side characters, Ga-Ram and Myung-Jin who lighten up against the air of stiff formality from CP Hawn. tvN drama [Episode 10 pre-release] "I missed Min Jae-yi" Hwan's heart is conveyed secretly to Jae-yi Spoiler

booha
Wow Sung-On in EP10 shows he can be emotional. He has a deep aching feeling for Jae-Yi. It’s hard to push him away from Jae-Yi though it’s a foregone conclusion that as SML he will never have her. Thong Thin
Eunchu Go curse CP Hwan at the bridge I hate Right State Minister, he's so damn cunning, now he's trying to control the King. Those bandits are every where acting as commoner, scary
booha
@Thong Thin HaHa yes it was so hilarious CP Hawn stayed there and let her vent out. It showed how far these two came. Actually at the beginning I wasn’t sure the actress(jae Yi) was right for Hawn. But delighted to see they have developed good chemistry so it’s fun to watch their interaction. I’m beginning to like this kind of period drama infused with modern perspective. Spoiler BTS

Thong Thin
@rocher22 @booha as the episodes progresses, I found CP Hwan & Lady Yae Yi are meant to be together, they formed a good partner to solve those killing cases under disguise. Ever since receiving the ghost letter, CP Hwan was suspicious of everyone around him including Senator Han who has been with him since childhood. However, after watching Ep 9, CP Hwan finally conclude that he can trust Lady Yae Yi & Senator Han. Is funny to me how come Senator Han can't recognized Lady Yae Ji esp her eyes when he faces her? I know their going to be marriage are arranged, have they not met each other before ? Just finished Ep 10 - Lady Yae Ji funny act when she's drinks too much and CP Hwan finds her entertaining. Oh !... there are spy in the palace. One is the lady that escort the Queen, and I think Tae-Kang , CP Hwan guard warrior he looks suspicious to me.
booha
@Thong Thin Right Sung-On can’t recognize Jae-Yi even though he has a portrait of her. haha It may be for the plot line so we just have to overlook it. Before he discovers a pretty eunuch is his fiancée, Jae Yi and CP Hwan need to develop a relationship. Now Jae Yi confessed that she no longer wanted to live by the institutional rule. If Sung On sees the way she drinks like she did in front of CP Hwan, he will flip over many times. Haha That’s not his dream wife. Whereas CP Hwan feels amused by Jae Yi’s unconventional behavior because he feels trapped in palace. Jae Yi provides him space to be himself as a person with feelings. About the bodyguard I don’t feel he has a hidden agenda. He looks too clean and inexperienced but then I could be wrong. Maybe it’s about JaeYi? I don’t think he is aware JaeYi is a woman. Maybe he’s upset from thinking CP Hawn acted too close to a feminine looking eunuch?

rocher22
I still think the bodyguard is loyal to the CP. Although I wonder if he is somehow connected to the Byeokcheon case.
booha
12 hours ago, rocher22 said: I still think the bodyguard is loyal to the CP. Although I wonder if he is somehow connected to the Byeokcheon case. Thank you for posting the list of suspects. Yeah I’ve been so busy admiring PHS’s good looks and following OTP’s relationship that I didn’t pay much attention to the other big thing. CP Hwan made a pact with Jae Yi and Sung On and the drama is at halfway. I guess it’s about time for the trio to tackle Jo Won Bo’s past dirty secret. (from soompi article) “… but it would be good to start delving into how a failed rebel uprising from 10 years ago could result in an eerie series of events around a Crown Prince with no knowledge of any of it.” ((Suspect X-File)) Right State Councilor Jo Won-Bo Queen Court Lady Kwon Deok-Sim Bok Soon/ Man Deok Court lady Tae-Gang https://www.soompi.com/article/1563025wpp/4-moments-in-episodes-9-10-of-our-blooming-youth-where-friends-and-foes-revealed-themselves 3. Tae Gang: the most sketchy of bodyguards Spoiler The sageuk bodyguard role is one that generally elevates the actor to new heights. (Kwak Dong Yeon remains the absolute best example of this). So it’s a nice touch to have Hwan’s loyal bodyguard reveal a rather sketchy side. Tae Gang (Heo Won Seo) has never been a fan of Jae Yi from the start. He thinks she’s far too mouthy and doesn’t accord Hwan proper respect. He doesn’t understand why Hwan even keeps her around. It’s also quite telling that Hwan hasn’t trusted even him with the details of the ghost-sent letter. We know that there is a debt of sorts between the two, with Hwan having apparently rescued Tae Gang when he was young. Yet, the decidedly dark look that Tae Gang shoots in Hwan’s direction after spying on him and Jae Yi indicates a darker purpose to their initial meeting. The question is, just how much does Tae Gang know? That Jae Yi is a girl? That she’s the same woman accused of killing her family and on the run? And just who does he work for? Because a surprising number of players are rearing their head, and one of them has had us all fooled. 4. The Queen: the most surprising character yet Spoiler The Queen (Hong Soo Hyun) has been a largely sympathetic and likable character. She refuses to take part in her uncle, Jo Won Bo’s, scheming, and seems generally out to keep her children safe while being a pretty decent person. So it’s all the more shocking when we get a declaration of her motives. ((**Jo Won Bo)) Spoiler Jo Won Bo cemented his position as a solid aide to the King when he quelled a rebel uprising 10 years ago, and he was granted the position of the Minister of War in order to seek out and kill the leader of the rebels, Song (Yoon Seok Hyun). And Jo Won Bo made it as gruesome a death as possible. But something seems to have gone wrong back then because he and his cronies are determined to stop everyone from digging into the case, as it gains more attention in the wake of the shaman’s death. And while he plots to get the King fully under his thumb, the Queen vows that his plans will never come to fruition because she’ll be sitting at the top, and she has every intention of killing her uncle for what he did to Song. ** IG from PHS's agency: tvN drama 'OBY' watch live The crown prince who makes our hearts flutter #LeeHwan Lee Hwan, faced with the greatest crisis, what the hell happened to him?
Thong Thin
@booha @rocher22 All these while I thought the Queen is someone who is weak, however after watching the last episode discovered that she's not. She's having this suspicious outlook where we have yet to know about her past histories. Interesting to know that she would be control by her uncle. Cunning Right State Minister wants the Queen to sit on the throne so that he could manipulate her and control her, however he will be in the shock. Sad to know the King is so weak and that put CP Hwan and his siblings in danger. Hope Eunuch Go & Senator Han will be of great help to CP Hwan. By the way, I found CP Hwan looks so smart in those attires, do you guys agreed.
