I jumped straight to the end when the drama started last nite, my jaw dropped when I saw the 3 married couple combinations. This drama is so darn messy.

I didnt know that The Penthouse was the same writer. I am so glad I didnt watch The Penthouse!!!

 

I may just watch the last episode of season 3, to see the ending for closure.

After some healing time, I have opinions again. 

 

Sa-Hyeon + Ami

 

I have no objections. They are both dumb as rocks, so maybe they get along well together.

 

Seo Ban + Song Won

 

The only reason I enjoy this possibility is because this means Song Won stole TWO men from Hye-Ryeong and her head will explode from rage. That will be hilarious.

 

Pi-Yeong + Dong-Ma

 

My least favorite future-maybe-couple. Look how whip-smart Pi-Yeong is, shutting down Yu-Shin. Do we really want her to be with a guy who compares love to the sediment at the bottom of a grain mix beverage?

 

She already tried marriage with a smooth-talking BS-er. Did she not learn anything?

 

This only makes sense to me if she fought over the leftover chaebol brother with Hye-Ryeong and won. Hye-Ryeong attacked her with a broken dish, but Pi-Yeong cut her with her diamond bracelet.

Pi-Yeong isn’t really interested in SD. I think her priority is her daughter and maybe just a little flirting. PY has lost faith in man , she just wanted to battle it out with BR just cause she TRIED TO CALL DIBS ON SD like he is an object. PY also told writer Lee, BR is way out of their leagues. She is way to smart and scheming for them to actually fight over a man.

Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) Season 2 came to a shocking end.

Song Won (Lee Min Young) gave birth to Pan Sa Hyeon (Sung Hoon)’s child. And Nam Ga Bin (Lim Hye Young), who turned Seo Dong Ma (Boo Bae) down, said goodbye to Park Hae Ryun (Jeon No Min).

In the following wedding scene, Pan Sa Hyeon was accompanied by Ami, who had an affair with Shin Yu Sin, instead of by Song Won. Also, Sa Pi Young’s marrying Seo Dong Ma and Song Won’s tying the knot with Seo Ban shocked the viewers. Moreover, Shin Gi Rim, a soul who was hovering around Kim Dong Mi, temporarily possessed the body of her granddaughter, Shin Ji Ah.

The show heralded the next season with the caption that reads, ‘Stay tuned for the next season. It will be beyond your imagination.”

The final episode has not revealed how these couples, Pan Sa Hyeon and Ami, Sa Pi Young and Seo Dong Ma and Song Won, and Seo Ban, have come together yet, leaving the explanation to the next upcoming season.

Meanwhile, season 3 will be available in about a year. According to multiple sources, Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce), which scored the highest ratings, has confirmed the production of season 3, with the release date set for the second quarter of next year.

In regards to the report of the next season being released next summer, a drama official shared, “We are still in the process, and nothing has been confirmed yet.”

I'm still on the fence about watching season 3 since it won't be broadcast until summer of 2022.  This series reeled me in because I totally sympathized with the wives.  The problem was the writer spent so much time glamorizing the mistresses and their relationship buildup with the cheating spouses.  I loved the scene where the writer's daughter told her dad off.  That was a great piece of acting and dialogue.  Also kudos to the whole episode devoted to Pi-Young & Yu-Sin and their discussion on trust as the foundation of a marriage.  

 

Writer Lee Si Eun is my favorite character and the last scene when she recites that poem was heartfelt...at least Seo Ban thought so.   The rest of this series has definitely been a rollercoaster ride but not in a good way. 

 

I suggest less time on the mistresses and more development for the wives.  

 

That would make me jump off that fence and commit to watching a 3rd season.

A lot of reviews on Youtube mentioned that Season 3 will be broadcasted in Summer 2022. Still, no official news from TVChosun or the casts & their agencies.

 

I just realized after my friend told me, what the most disappointed for her with this the whole 2 seasons was ....

 

3 COUPLES still didn't meet the 3 MISTRESS with SEO BAN & DONG MA at the same time at the same place.

 

Wooooo, it that's happened, it will be spicy!!!!! Can't wait to hear BHR yell and angry at Song Won because Seo Ban knew her, PSH surprised that Song Won knew Seo Ban, Seo Ban speechless when he knew Song Won's baby father is BHR's ex husband, and he surprised when he knew Writer Lee's ex husband's mistress is his bother's ex girlfriend, Writer-Lee feel helpless when she knew her ex husband's mistress is Seo Ban's brother's ex girlfriend and psychopath doctor shocked to know everybody is links to everybody! 

 

Maybe we will get it in Season 3! Hopefully!

I suppose the writer is trying to say there is no thing such as "perfect ever lasting love"?

 

Despite feeling like was thrown with a bucket full of crap, I'm totally invested for S3. I just hope that one will come with a definitive ending. It can be an open ending but not stuff like "how the hell did that happened???" kind of ending.

 

40s wife should wear her hair with centre parting more often, I think. And I was totally conned by the poem-reading scene. I did not understand why did 40s wife have to call the husband for the IT issue, but cool for calling mistress to pick up the husband. Since there were couple swapping in the end for a moment I thought 40s MIL earnest desire came through... that is before the arrival of possessed spawn.

1. for the first one I agree, he was escorting her for her wedding with PSH

2. For the second, I also thought he was escorting her for his brother , but the voice of the presenter was saying the bride and groom, so it's Dong ma and Pi-Young's wedding

3. For the third I think PSH just remarried a third time, so he divorced Seo wong and remarried and this time with this girl

 

So I think that the three marriages take place on different dates, one may take place in the near future, the other in the distant future etc, which does not make certain deductions impossible.

If Seo Ban is the escort for Son Won's marriage then maybe there's still hope for Writer Si-Eun?  The pearl choice was a dead giveaway on what Seo Ban cherishes, quiet dignity.....so that leaves Hye Ryeong out. 

 

Dong Ma married to Pi-Young?  That will really drive Yu-Sin up the wall...I like it!  I know Dong Ma has a warped sense of loyalty but Pi-Young has already gone through one divorce so I doubt she will let herself be duped again.  Dong Ma apparently likes older women since Gabin  is 5 years older.  Pi-Young is an attractive, intelligent woman who might just be the one to capture his love and keep it.

 

As much as I pitied PSH in his marriage with Hye Ryeong I still can't watch his family scenes with mistress and parents.  Don't see how they can stay so happy and still be part of season 3. 

 

Dim actress really gets on my nerves....almost wish creepy mother in law slips her a mickey.

I still don't get why ppl thought Seo Ban would be interested in BHR. From season 1 he showed little to no interest in her. That match up is so weird. The best match for her is Dong Ma. Two self centered characters lol as it's obvious how Dong Ma views himself when chatting with his brother and Ga Bin. 

 

Pi Young and Dong Ma? I just don't see it. A better match for her would be Seo Ban. But I also believe Si Eun is more his type. Well who knows maybe Pi Young will be taking a leaf out of her aunt's books lol. 

 

Also Season 3 might show how much of a cheater and superficial PSH is...bcuz A Mi? Really? Maybe he will also fall in love with her silent apple eating.

Hurmmmm... how about at 100th day baby party at Gangnam Hotel.

 

Remember BHR insisted want to see the baby? She come alone with no clue she will meet everybody. Seo Ban, Ami, NGB as usual being invited by SW. Ami come with psychopath doctor. And NGB come with Dong Ma. Seo Ban then asked SW, "can I come with my friends?" Of course SW said yes. Then Seo Ban asked SPY, Writer Lee, Woo-ram & Ji-a to come with him because he wants to play baseball with Woo-ram after the party at the park nearby hotel. As for the pathetic prof, Woo-ram will call him to bring his baseball equipment that he promised to buy for him. And then.... all of them meet at the hotel hall and as expected, it will be a mess party and PSH's father and mother both fainted after listening to all the bickering and yelling!!! Hahaha.....

Finally season 2 end with the most confusing ending ever in kdrama land. Hahaha. In my language drama yang membagongkan skali. lol

 

Want to type something but I just don't know what I must to type hahaha. The ending can not sync with my brain.

 

1. Yu Sin oppa is still stress because of if he is really want SPY comes back then actually he should stop sleeping with A mi. but I love it that he gaves diamond bracelet to SPY <3  diamond is a girl's bff

 

2. BHR personality changes in every ep. I need certainty writer nim. is BHR having multiple personalities?

 

3. I still cannot accept that the elegant SPY must to compete with another woman to gain a man's attention. oh pleaseeeee.. elegant woman never compete in this kind of thing. man comes wilingly  if I must to compete for a man I will leave that competition. There are too many men in this world. please writer nim writes something logic for SPY sighhhh

 

4. Prof will be stress now. He deserves that. I am too shy whenever I watch his affair scenes. 

 

5. Nam Ga bin finally learns something. I like this part. I am totally agree with everything @hsmz writes about her karma. he he he

 

6. I am still confused is BHR actually the antagonist in PSH-BHR plot, because of it seems that PSH-SY are the main protagonists.

 

7. Too many stress characters in this drama even the psychiatrist is also stress now. 

 

8. I will definitely watching season 3 hahaha. I love watching stress people. LOL

 

9. Thank you for all the comments since ep 16 aired, you guys all really make my day. It was a very stressing monday because of I am surrounding by the death news of covid19 on fb and IG and WA and the building next to my office has become the isolation place for covid19 and since morning we keep hear ambulance come and go and the crying sound from families and people who have lost their beloved families.

@Gumiho thanks for mentioned me.. Indeed, she's the best karma that writer-nim served for us! Just love how she kneeled in front of Writer-Lee. As much as you all feel angry "why Writer-Lee needs to entertain and comfort her again" but bear in mind, Writer-Lee have a heart of gold. Also, some beliefs teaches us to help those helpless people, even that person is our enemy or make us their enemy... She's the best, my fav second wife character in this drama.

PY became my favorite character this season. Once the blinders were off they were off and she knew exactly how to handle YS. 

 

Edited to add: I know that the cast needs a break and Sung Hoon signed on for another drama, but I think the drama could lose momentum if Season 3 isn't released for a year or more. But then Koreans seem to love this kind of drama so maybe it doesn't matter. 

 

Of the three couples at the end, only PY and DM make zero sense to me. He comes across as a dumber version of her ex and there is no way a chaebol family is going to be okay with him marrying a divorced, older woman with a kid who may not be able to produce an heir. They might okay SB marrying a divorced woman with a kid because he's a confirmed bachelor in his 50's but from the brother's conversations, it was clear DM was expected to settle down and have kids eventually. That alone makes me think it's another dream sequence, but I really could see the other two couples.

Next year I might change my mind and watch the third season. 

 

I just put this out there that good people don't have a monopoly on god. God answers the prayers of bad people too. It's odd in spite all evidence to the contrary that you observe in real life that this fact that the innocent often get punished wantonly and the bad get rewarded hasn't sunk in. 

 

People watch dramas to get payback because often things never work out the way you want in real life and dramas are supposed to fix that and when they don't you feel betrayed by the writer. This writer though is living in the twilight zone. Some of the stuff came out of nowhere.
