Yes, all of the staff is working hard with refilming all of the scenes with On Dal. I honestly hope that they are just re-filming all the episodes before episode 18 with On Dal and reusing all the other scenes! Serious props and kudos to the whole staff team. I'm glad that the ratings aren't dropping and staying steady + rising!

I forgot to mention in my last post, but I am really LOVING the actress that plays Mo Yong! Choi Yu Hwa is her name I see. She is honestly killing it playing her character and I love the way she is portraying Mo Yong. I think this is my first time watching a drama with her..? Honestly i can be wrong because I could've watched a drama with her and not realizing it...but seriously GREAT actress and she truly is beautiful!!

1. the Queen Jin Bi even before she becomes Queen has been sleeping with Go Won-pyo 
2. the youngest son Gun-moo is not his son but Go Won-pyo
3. the Queen Jin Bi is the one plotting together with Go Won-pyo to get rid of Crown Prince Won the biological son of the King and the late Queen Yeon
4. the Queen Jin Bi is plotting together with Go Won-pyo to dethrone him the King and put their son Gun-moo on the crown

i'm sure she does not know about affair yet...she knows they plot against her mother and father...

I loved this week's episodes just like all the previous episodes. I am also liking Na In Woo's portrayal of On Dal here, in my honest opinion, I feel like he has owned the character in just 2 episodes. He is brining in his own charm to the character while not trying to act like Ji Soo did, which I really appreciate. Seeing how well he got into the character also shows his talent as an actor here. 

 

Coming back to the plot, apart from the lovey-dovey scenes of On Dal and Ga Jin, also she training him to become a general and planning the revival of Sunno Tribe, I am more intrigued about Ho Yong and Go Gun's schemes here. Mo Yong is playing a 4D chess here, making allies on all sides and her latest ally being the Assassins head. 

 

Go Gun on the other hand seems to have made the deal with the devil, now wanting power. Not sure how honest he is in this one or he is putting up a show in front of his father. I think his father is also confused on the same. I think, he chose to become the guy to train and get close to the crown prince and the King, in order to protect them actually. He knew if he would not do it, someone more loyal to his father would end up in that position actually putting both Crown Prince and The King in danger. I think he is still in conflict with himself too. On one hand he cannot just accept that he got rejected without even getting a chance, on the other hand he knows he has promised Ga Jin to protect her brother and father while she is away. Would be interesting to see what he will when he will have to make a choice. 

 

Overall I loved the episode. My favorite dialogue of the week was Wol Gwang asking On Dal "Are you having an affair with the wooden sword?" 

 

I am looking forward to Wol Gwang training him, and I think he also has a big role in Ga Jin's big plan. I am looking forward to seeing more of him too. Hopefully On Dal's mom will not die next week.

How adorable are In Woo and So Hyun as Dal and Pyeonggang/Ga Jin? They are so pure! You wouldn't think they've only started having scenes together for a week or two. I love that In Woo's also winning over doubters who didn't think he could carry the role of On Dal. More success for the team behind this drama!

 

I am just sad though that the OST seems to have disappeared from Spotify due to that Kakao M issue. I know it has been resolved but the songs are still missing. 

 

Also, I like the Go Gun/Hae Mo Yong interactions. They definitely have some spark. At least he's less fixated about Pyeonggang everytime he has scenes. I hope he has his own plans about letting himself be appointed as the Crown Prince's master and head of the royal bodyguards. I'd hate to think he's letting himself be manipulated by Go Won Pyo.
