Annyeong @irilight chingu :) thank you for the shout out. I like both Yoo Yeon-suk and Seo Hyun-jin, so definitely I will be in this thread and watch the drama.

I'm anticipating this drama because of Seo Hyun Jin (her first network drama awesome!) and Yoo Yeon Seok. I can see peeps from the Warm and Cozy thread and Another Oh Hae Young thread here lol. 

Based on the blurb, this drama gives off vibes similar to Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho except that it's now in a medical setting, throw in Doctors for good measure. In this case, what made the brilliant surgeon go into recluse? I usually avoid medically themed dramas but for SHJ and YYS, I'll make an exception. So...count me in. Hehe.

just wanna say hello to all.. and oh my goodness I am so excited that yoo yeonseok is in this drama.. and just off being awesome AOHY, SHJ is back... love this.. but over all the casting is one of the best in recent dramas... yay

anyway I just wanna ask is there gonna be a love line in this drama?

The lovelines have yet to be confirmed but speculations is that the loveline between the leads should be shj and yys.. Perhaps Hsk will have his own with a side character?but hsk is the main man.. So.. I'm excited to see how they execute it.. Whether if it's going to be similar to neighborhood lawyer.

Yep all the main cast have been confirmed! following neighbourhood lawyer will be good however i hope the other leads will have more weight in their characters.. but guessing with all this past trauma story each lead seem to have, probably their characters should have more weight than compared in neighbourhood lawyer...so i guess it's a good sign!

Anyways more castings news, Seo Eun Su will be joining the drama

Han Seok-Kyu, Yoo Yeon-seok, Seo Hyeon-jin, Joo Hyeon, Jin Kyeong and Im Won-hee are starring in the new SBS drama "Romantic Doctor Kim Sa-bu" which is a drama about Kim Sa-bu and the doctors who go through him.

The cast of the drama are Yoo Yeon-seok, Seo Hyeon-jin, Joo Hyeon, Jin Kyeong, Im Won-hee and others.

Han Seok-Kyu is coming back for the first time in 2 years as Kim Sa-bu. Kim Sa-bu is a legendary doctor who is an eccentric expert. Han Seok-Kyu attempts at a new role in contrast to his usual one.

Yoo Yeon-seok takes on the role of Kang Dong-joo who thinks surgeries are the easiest things in the world. He is a specialist who graduated at the top of his class. He was born poor but wants to live like a king.

Seo Hyeon-jin plays Yoon Seo-jeong, a woman who became a doctor to make herself acknowledged by someone.

I'm not exactly sure of her role in Jealousy Incarnate but it's stated on her asian wiki page. Seems like she's a new actress..

Actor Yoo Yeon-suk and actress Seo Hyun-jin will begin filming for SBS’ forthcoming drama series, “Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim” starting Friday, a source from the broadcaster was quoted as saying Thursday.

“The filming starts tomorrow,” the source told news outlet OSEN on Thursday. “Yoo and Seo will be on location.”

“Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim” will center on three surgeons’ lives: a retired yet distinguished surgeon (Han Suk-kyu), a dexterous and burgeoning surgeon played by Yoo and a warmhearted surgeon played by Seo

The new TV drama is set air following fantasy periodic drama series “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo.” The first episode will air Nov. 7.

Following news of Kim Min Jae saying goodbye as a MC on MBC’s “Music Core,” more details about his next plans have been revealed.

A source from his agency CJ E&M stated, “Kim Min Jae has been cast in SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim‘ (tentative title) which will air in November.”

“Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim” is a medical drama that tells the story of a man who became a doctor to beat someone (Yoo Yeon Seok) and a woman who became a doctor to get acknowledged by someone (Seo Hyun Jin) meeting a “romance doctor” (Han Suk Kyu) and learning the value of life.

Kim Min Jae has been cast as a skilled male nurse named Park Eun Tak. Having recently acted in dramas likes “Twenty Again,” “Because It’s the First Time,” and more, many are looking forward to his role in the upcoming drama.

“Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim” is scheduled to air its first episode on November 7.

Kim Min Jae has been confirmed for new SBS drama 'Romantic Doctor'!

According to CJ E&M on September 24, Kim Min Jae has been confirmed to play a talented male nurse named Park Tak in the new production. This means that he'll be joining the fabulous cast including Seo Hyun Jin, Yoo Yun Suk, Han Seok Kyu, and more. 

'Romantic Doctor', written by the screenwriter of 'Hotelier', 'Baking King Kim Tak Goo', 'Gu Family Book', and others, will start airing on November 7.
