Nyonya food is comfort food! I don't know anyone who doesn't like it...Buah Keluak is so difficult to get and not many restaurants serving them... @Thong Thin There's a new Nyonya restaurant that opened near you in Sek 17, Happy Mansion Block A called Big Baba... They serve this dish...

 

Now feels like you are another Msian here...

 

Growing up in Penang is one of the best experiences in life... Authentic Nyonya food was cheap and in abundance...My favourite is Assam Prawns...

I didn’t drop it but I’m very slow these days. I did finish Love to Hate You and adored the OTP! Not to mention the 2nd couple….I loved how neither of them was involved in a love triangle with the ML or the FL.

This must be the artsiest kpop song and video I've ever seen. It's seriously so interesting both from a music perspective, as well as, a visual perspective. Couldn't take my eyes off the video while I was watching it.

Glad it wasn't really a gas leak! The durian in the supermarket kinda smells (for me) like pungent, overripe jackfruit.

@sadthe1st Winged beans or Kacang Botol is also one of my fav beans apart from Petai/Stinking Bean! Love to fry with just garlic or with shrimps...But of course best would be sambal belachan! 

 

@MayanEcho How do you cook shrimp paste there? Inchi Kabin, a nyonya dish of fried chicken...One of my favourites too...

Yes, is my favourite winged bean, stir try with sambal belachan or with garlic.

 

Hakka Lui Cha, i like the greens' esp the soup eaten hot.
