Re: Sushi here, I thought it's priced OK for buffet or eat all you can cos the ingredients and sometimes the chef or staff preparing it are imported. 😅

Can't believe that Good Partner ends this week. It was one perfect drama that the 'Fast Forward' button didn't even crossed my mind. Ha ha ha!!!! Gonna miss Jang Nara on-screen!

Those tout premium (from reputable sources) offerings, like a cut above regular and also they don’t only have sushi but the gamut of Jap food from chawanmushi to yakitori to ramen. But there are cheaper ones whose raw salmon originates from dubious locations. 
 

Where raw food is concerned, it’s better to err on the side of caution. That said, stranger things have happened- like food poisoning after eating at reputable places.

 

 

By the way, do you all carry anti-theft bags when you travel? Other than ugly Pacsafe, what do you recommend if you do?

I don't. I keep the cash or cards in different pockets and purses. My right pockets are almost always empty.

I am actually looking forward to her drama with him, kind of feels something fresh or different from your everyday dramas (hopefully). 

 

I do agree that she is among the excellent and talented actresses out there 

 

@joccu Chingu, you watching Champions League matches? I would usually just watch Chelsea's matches and skip the group stage matches even if they would be among the top teams. But this new format just seems too much to me, I am kinda not that interested and would still just start watching it from the knockout stages most probably. 

 

Same goes for Chelsea, since they are in Conference league, so nah, I'll just hope they qualify for knockout stages (which they actually should), and then start watching their matches.

That's what I was thinking, too; so interesting. I wouldn't be able to go very often if it were that pricey here, and as it is we can only go to our local one a couple times a year as a family. But I imagine with paying for staff, quality seafood, import costs, etc etc those things can drive up the price.

The new format seems too complicated for us, too, and we'd have to pay 35€ a month to keep up with the matches on TV. So just following headlines for now. I miss the days when you could at least watch your country's team on free TV though.

Never. I just leave my passport in the hotel room safe with some extra credit cards. I don't ever carry cash unless traveling in countries that don't accept credit cards. As a purse I always use a cross body bag which I keep in front of me with my hands secured around it. Unless I'm trekking, I never carry a backpack.

So I looked it up and that day was the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics, when I guess I/we had a lot to say about the rain, the boats, Eurovision vomiting all over Paris, AND of course the blue guy, of whom @agenth so kindly posted a picture (barf).
