This worst behavior has not just taken when he was "A dog in manger" but he let bad things be in CSH's life during marriage, during divorce, and after divorce by his mom with his acknowledgement and intended to use all CSH's obligations to control CSH.

In the episode 12, we can finally JWS's true personality: a hypocrite. In front of his mother, he complains to his mother that CSH shouldn't be forced to attend the family event (death anniversary of his father), on the other hand he is happy to remind driver Nam that there will be this family event where CSH has to appear. As you can see, he only defends CSH in front of his mother with words, yet in reality he uses his mother's scheme for his own benefit. He was nervous waiting for CSH's appearance and he wanted her to be there. So his claim that he couldn't protect her from his mother is proven wrong. He chose not to protect her as he always saw a benefit of it. 

Notwithstanding, he is a coward as he never tried to leave his comfort zone in order to win her heart. He thought, his handsome face and money via gifts would be enough to satisfy CSH. At some point, he came to the conclusion, CSH was the one who had no heart... he never questioned his own behavior.

During this whole episode, it is clear that JWS uses his mother's plans for his own benefit and I guess, so was it with the arranged marriage. I hope, he loses more than just CSH for real. He needs to feel what CSH has been put through due to him.

I finally had the chance to watch episode 12, raw.

Their bed scene is adorably intimate, just like an engaged couple exploring their rights with each other....

I like that kJH is fussing over CSH's insomnia problem by using his own bold ways of lying next to her,  holding her in his arms and patting her to sleep....is he really the younger boyfriend or the mature older boyfriend? He's so sweet with her.

 

The last scene was so touching. KJH was moved to tears by CSH's presence and the message is clear - she loves him much more than her beloved hotel. To reach this decision was very painful for her - no matter what, Donghwa hotel is of significance to her. She's personally involved in turning the hotel into what it is today. Her decision shows that she is now able to stay true to herself and not please others. Seeing her emotionally weighing the situation is also heartwrenching. I teared with both of them....lol. No wonder it's the No.1 most watched in Naver.

 

Guess what? I've an inkling that KJH's dad knows that CSH was the one who turned up for their dinner - take a look at his face. He has a knowing look. After all, he had spoken to CSH and I'm sure he likes her.

 

Their hug is so meaningful as it shows the pain that both are suffering, not for themselves but for each other. This kind of love is selfless and admirable. KJH told JWS that he'll protect his woman in his own ways - this is exactly what he's doing since by lying to her that his dinner appointment was cancelled, he's helping her to protect Donghwa hotel by her turning up at the father-in-law's death anniversary.

AS for CSH, she's doing what she can to show KJH that he's her priority now. They have both grown a lot in their journey together.

 

Their chicken meal together looks so yummy that I bet I'll dream about it tonight and first thing tomorrow, I'm heading for a Korean meal for sure!  hehe...

 

Ep 12 is another beautiful episode and seeing our couple's visuals is enough for a sweet lullaby and I want a KJH as my human sleeping pill please. 

 Wait, according to CSH, he's a human STIMULANT! OMG... are they blatantly flirting....KJH asking her not to get "excited" too..are they imagining boom boom land....

 

Can't wait! Oh. I forgot. KJH is a gentleman. It means whatever he's doing........he's gentle.  He had to control himself the last time....when CSH was drunk I guess.  

 

Next time, he might just not be so gentle, hear that, CSH?

Last night my wife was making me crazy asking what happened.  I told her she had to wait until we watched it together later that evening.  Now she is texting me trying to find out what happened in today's episode.  I told her our OTP took another break.  I have not seen text cursing like that in a long, long time.

in the beginning of episode 12, it showed the suit and the lunch packs; I was thinking to myself: what is the main point in this episode, why suit vs lunch packs.

and now I understand it completely. Such a heart- warming touching episode that awaken every nerve cells in my body.

 Wow, WS; why you are so two faces, you used your mother’s scheme to hide your obsession. WS, that is not love, that is obsession. I want to see your face and your mom reaction when you know it wasn’t CSH in the car. Lolzzzz

I only watched the first 5 minutes of the Episode and had to pause to post about Jinhyuk’s father and Soohyun..

 

 

JS — When I first saw an article regarding Jin Hyuk, I figured it was nothing serious, so I didn't ask him anything. But he seems pretty serious about you. So I'm worried about what I should do. 

SH – I’m pretty unusual, aren’t I?

JS — It could be that you're unique, or it could be that he's normal. But it's not something I can judge so rashly. 

SH – Jin-hyuk is very thoughtful, Hearing you say that...makes me understand why Jin Hyuk is so thoughtful.

 

 

JS —The thing about love is that only you two matter. But the path you two must take looks too rough to be led just on your feelings. Would it be okay for me to support you two like Jin Hyuk said?

SH — When you call us special, I know you mean that I'm insufficient. I know it's hard, but I'd appreciate it if you'd keep on watching us.

JS —The players on the ring are the ones who have it hard. It's nothing for the onlookers.

I really liked these parts of their conversation. Jinhyuk’s father is a wise man. His scenes with Jinhyuk had touched me deeply, and now I also appreciate this scene with Soohyun.

Yes, it's the best for me as well. I guess I'm a die-hard romantic person and this drama is possibly a beautiful slow-burning love story and every single episode is just so beautiful. I won't deny that our OTP completes the love story with their amazing chemistry and they always make me happy just thinking about their magical moments together. 

 

In fact, just looking at their stunning visuals and their adorable bts interactions make the drama even more meaningful as we know that they shed all inhibitions and to arrive at this level of performance is astounding. I bet both PBG and SHK will remember this drama for a long time to come, especially so when they've gone against all odds and they've filmed beautifully in Cuba too. 

 

"Boyfriend" appeals for its old school romance and not whirlwind romance. It's heart-fluttering to see KJH and CSH protecting their love so preciously and willing to sacrifice what's important to them, for the sake of their partner. True love like theirs is beautiful and touching; sweet and adorable; funny and sad.

 

The PD chose well. He's confident of their emotional performance in a melodrama.He said both actors are 'rich' with emotional acting.

 What the PD didn't know beforehand was the out-of-this-world chemistry between PBG and SHK that even he was in awe.

 

LIke you, I'm pretty optimistic that we'll have a beautiful ending to this awesome drama. 

 

All the vibes from our OTP are too sweet to have a sad ending.  

 

Plus the PD can't forgive himself if he separates our OTP. He can't have KJH's "human sleeping pill" reputation ruined, you know.

I love how KJH is carrying himself in every situation. He always shows that he has the guts and confidence whenever CSH is around to let her feel that he is able to protect her in his own ways. To let her feel that he is a dependable man. I think JWS will have a change of heart in the coming episodes because of the sincerity he is seeing in the couple. It is the sincerity that will matter.

 

All the scenes are overflowing in a subtle way. I like how KJH father talked to CSH. It is not a long conversation but you will feel and understand what his father is worrying about. The conversation just implies that the relationship is getting deeper and there is a need for a serious commitment. 

 

I love how the love birds are teasing each other while making the scenes more romantic and heart fluttering. No need for more elaboration and we are all aiming to have more and more of this and beyond.

 

The winning moment is the last scene while JH telling " I'm in trouble. There is no exit to be able to escape from your charm." Because he knows that SH sacrificed a big time with this decision even her beloved hotel is at stake and she doesn't care anymore. It is like choosing the hotel or JH.  

 

I kinda sympathize with the feelings of Hye In since it has been so long that her one sided love for KJH is just buried in her heart. That red planner is has been with her ages ago.  I was touched at that moment. I felt it since I was like her to a male friend a long time ago and it is frustrating to just keep it in your heart but I was able to confess through joking when we already had our own family, still friends until this time.

 

I smiled and giggled with the building of relationship of DC and Jang Biseo. They are a cute couple. 

 

JH family is so heartwarming. This family is what SH needs to be able to make up with all those coldness in her younger years.

 

Congressman CJH emphasized that election is important but his child's

happiness comes first. 

 

There are many scenes that almost break down SH confidence but JH is a happy soul that gives her courage.

 

The last four episodes will be again interesting to watch because these are the crucial episodes to knock out the conflicts and arrive to a victorious conclusion.

 

I am very optimistic that it will lead into a good ending.

There are no words for the awful thing he is doing to take over the hotel assuming that this means he can take over SH as well.  WS  needs to be brought down in a very painful way.

Just to be on the safe side, I am taking her out to dinner and then we can watch the episode together.  

 

I only have a vague notion of what went on during this episode but I know that CSH and KJH won't let me down.  I hope we see some progress in our 2nd and 3rd OTP's in this episode as well.  

 

Lastly, I am looking forward to finding out who the wolf is in the animation as well.  That one has been a real puzzler for me.
