@rocat Am pretty sure that the sugar had just hardened. No dark spots, no weird smell, taste was great. We made kaya toast and teh (tea with condensed milk). Yummy!

they are such a throwback to a slower type romance where everything is all about expressions and energy. where something quiet like allowing a hand graze and fingers touching is such a big step because she comes from such a conservative background, a sharp contrast to his modern background.

hahahaha... hilariously the girl's mom describes him as ugly. 

what is funny is the girl's father who looks exactly like your gif. there is a ditzy aunt character (of the FL) and she hysterically calls the father-in-law of the FL as "super mario" (like in the game) and wonders how a bald old man has such charisma. I laugh at such random humour in this dizi.
