was the 4 episode worse than 3? I'm just thinking should I try watch it or not.

Plot wise they gave more info. I will again say that the plot has potential. But the way they are carrying out or executing things is very poor. I would have ignored the fantasy\time travel things but here the simple things are so messy which sadly I can't bring myself to overlook. I will skim it once it is done airing.

Justice League's trailer seems interesting, when I went to watch it after it released, all of us were too disappointed by it. Hopefully this will live up to the expectations it has raised.

This is supposed to be the original version..

Even my brother is pushing me to watch Jujitsu no Kaisen..

One good news is that while it was speculated "Demon Slayer S2" will air in 2022, they dropped the teaser and it will be airing in 2021. Now I just hope that we'll get to watch the movie before this season comes, but there is still no news on the release date of its movie in US/Canada, and without releasing it there, they won't be releasing it on the online platforms

Yeah... I am even planning to watch Jujitsu no Kaisen

sisyphys ep 3 was really bad. I'm really considering to dropping this drama. There were so many scenes that did not make many sense.

I know. Chingu I will just watch today's episode. If it does not live up to my expectations I will officially drop it. The show itself is not taking things seriously...lol.. Even the ratings decreased. What was JTBC thinking while signing the deal??

    I rarely drop the dramas.

Same here. I barely watch kdramas. But Nowadays my schedule is so hectic that I can spare two dramas at the moment. If I am not liking then one of them then I think it is better I checkout other dramas. I am liking Beyond Evil and will checkout Mouse as well. Tried LUCA but gave up after ep 1, same thing with Vincenzo..

    How are you doing@pompyavi

Again there were few WTH moments in this episode as well. Sadly I see myself dropping this drama. I love CSW but I can't bring myself to overlook these many WTH moments. That being said the time travel concept is quantum teleportation which means the future and present are in quantum entanglement. Hope you guys have a fun ride watching this. I might check it out after it is done airing.

The whole sliding down the building was unnecessary. Let's just forget about the CGI. I am at the point here, that I am not really gonna think much about this drama. I'd rather use my mind and come up with theories in other dramas like "Beyond Evil". I am finding some big WTH moments in each episode of this drama now, and thinking this just the start, and we have not reached the main point, the main theory and idea behind it all, I feel like, there will be more WTH moments coming our way.

No need to use your head chingu. The time travel concept is quantum teleportation. The plot is partly taken from fringe, DARK, some Marvel movies, terminator and Matrix. If you continue watching leave your brain outside of the room and just take everything at face value. The writers had about 4 years to revise the script. I don't know what they did.. simple things are poorly executed. I will still say the plot has potential but the delivery is very poor. And this is supposed to be JTBC's 10th anniversary special drama. They marketed it as having 18 million USD budget just to have that ridiculous CGI. May be all the budget went to the plane scene ..LOL

I have not watch Sisyphus Ep 3....will pen my thoughts later.

    Sure chingu..

@Sleepy Owl I will better start Attack on Titan. I watched the first episode yesterday. Animation is good considering it aired on 2013. Very intriguing. I will give sisyphus a last chance today otherwise I am dropping. I will see the reviews once it's done and if the reviews are good I will check it out again.

there were some WTH moments in the episode. One of the biggest for me would be, the assassin not pulling the trigger, when Tae Sul was literally in one place giving the presentation, and had to shoot it, when Eddy came on the stage to calm him down

    And here the list goes:

    • Sniper taking his own sweet time to shoot Tae Sul
    • Bong Seon.. what kind of body guard is he.. does not know his basics.
    • Why the hell there are no guards or security in a conference. Even when we do sales conference in our company we do have few security. Not to mention any tech giant's conference would have very high security. So it baffled me that there was not a single security person who helped Tae Sul
    • Sliding down the building and that zip lining scene.. was it necessary.. like what did it add to the story. Because of the poor CGI it looked more cringey. Not to mention sliding down the building and using that gun as a breaker..I facepalmed.

I am not sure what the show is trying to be: a serious fantasy thriller or a comedy fantasy thriller. I am not in for a comedy fantasy. PSH's acting is not helping at all. CSW's acting is good but imo this role is not suited to him or the hair stylist or make up artist needs to more work.

Let's hope Sisyphus will get better, Sisyphus honestly, its first two episodes, didn't really meet my expectations. I was expecting kind of more.

I know chingu what you mean. That's exactly my thoughts. I want it to get serious but the first 2 episodes tried to make the atmosphere light hearted. I mean that sense of urgency, seriousness is not there. Also the scene transitions are so abrupt. Background score is inconsistent. I anyway had a very low expectation from sisyphus, so I won't be surprised if it went downhill. If it does I am gonna jump off from the ship. But I am expecting Beyond Evil to be good. After so many months I got interested in a kdrama again.

  14. @Sleepy Owl Exactly. Watcher was one of a kind on its own. HSK's acting was top notch there. And in Beyond Evil, Shin Ha Kyun is also doing a great job. All in all beyond evil lives up to my expectations as of now.

I know I will be sticking to this one right till the end.

Beyond Evil episode 2 ending though, I will be looking forward to read your comments about it. I am quite unsure about it right now

That's the kind of cliffhangers I want from sisyphus. But sisyphus's previews give away most of the things. I am looking forward to Beyond Evil. Hoping it to be a good one..

yeah, my guess is TS and HS want to stop the future but at different points in the timeline.  Maybe this is why they keep looping around because each changes the event in his/her timeline based on his/her goal.  Their goals are different with the previous attempts.  HS is weary, she has been repeating the same cycle over and over again.   She's out of juice, she fizzled out.  TS must be the same.

I believe both of them does not know where the origin or the starting point is. Or if the starting point is supposed to be in their world???

This reminds me of the plot of another series where a scientist in the origin world made a time machine to go back to a point where his son is alive but the machine ended up splitting the world into two realities where certain events keeps on looping. In one reality the FL wants the loop to go on and in the other reality ML wants to destroy the knot that connects the two world/realities. Both of them guide their younger/past self to keep things happening the same way to achieve their goal. FL's goal was to keep the loop going forever whereas the ML wanted things to happen the same way and at one point he would find a way to destroy the knot. But since the origin lied outside of both the world the ML could never destroy the knot unless another time traveler realized that both the worlds grew out of something else. The traveler then used Schrödinger cat's experiment of dual realities to make her self choose a different path and go to the original world to stop everything.

@nrllee The plot above is from a critically praised scifi series where people were left scratching their heads after every episode. All though they repeatedly gave out several hints but none of us could catch those. After the final season we were like oh they hinted all these throughout the show..

Edit: the dialogue "the question is not from where but when" they have copied it from the series for which the plot i have mentioned. Just replaced "how" with "where".

    :D

It is more than possible that Tae Sul is the guy who broke in, but he wants it all to happen or does he want to stop it all given the warning he gave? The fact that it was done behind the painting and hung upside down also seems to be so that only Tae Sul would be the one to notice the change in it.

That warning made him more determined to find out what happened to his brother. If whatever I guessed is correct then it is definitely future Tae Sul is setting up the path for his past self.

Found this while browsing twitter. Read it with Google translate. At the last the production crew said that "it will be much easier to interpret if the reasoning is based on the fact that Seo Hae and Tae Sul are in the continuous cycle of sisyphus ".

That means one of my assumption was correct that the loop is already going on. We don't know what's the starting point of the loop. That is something to look forward in the upcoming episodes.

Also in ep 1, I guess we saw Tae sul got a letter from a kid in elementary? school stating that she wants to marry him. I guess that she is Seo Hae. If it is then there are two Seo Hae's: one from future and the present one. I am curious how sisyphus will handle the concept..

I also think that the person who broke into Tae sul's penthouse is he himself. I mean his future self. On that basis if I have to make another assumption then the future Tae Sul want the events to happen the same way as it always had happened in earlier cycles so that the present Tae sul can become the way the future Tae Sul is..
