I don't know about you guys, but I think LMH looks kinda sexy with glasses.  I hope next time Boss releases an ad, they will let LMH talk.  they can pitch it--Boss caters to all or something like that.

Indeed, he is sexy with glasses! and shades!

Still no Pachinko trailer? I miss LMH's acting so much already *sigh

I just saw this video, it's from 2019 and I think somebody must have posted it back then, so sorry in advance.

But this is such A GOAL AS A MINOZ, I really want to attend this smaller kind of fan meeting where I will have the chance to at least shake his hands!!!

He patiently smiled and shook the hands of every fan in there with such sincere eyes, oh my God, this man!

When will LMH hold another fan meeting like this?? :cries:

4 months free Apple TV + with Target Circle!  The offer is good until mid June.  I'm going to sign up after my apple TV+ subscription is up in May!  All you need to do is sign up with Target Circle (it's free).  My favorite word FREE!

@CarolynH thanks for sharing this. Good promo for the Apple TV+. I hope they can also have good promos in SK where clashing of global streaming are heating up out there. Netflix is seemingly unstoppable hitting one home run after another. Now, I guess it faces a real challenge from “Pachinko” of Apple TV+ and “Casino” from Disney+. Even local streaming platforms like Wavve & Tving also continue their steady growth with unique original content. Can't wait for March 25 when "Pachinko's" first three episodes will premiere globally. Each subsequent episode of the eight-part series releases weekly on Friday. Really so COOL because the series will be told in three languages -- English, Japanese and Korean.   :kisslevel:

Hey @JoannaID, he was scheduled to have another fan meeting with Shinsegae hotel in 2020, and then the pandemic hit.  Hopefully he'll have another fan meet soon. But with covid and all, I wonder if they'll allow him, or any other artist for that matter, to have high touch events like this. In due time, hopefully, he'll get to shake hands with his fans again!

LEE MIN HO CHOSE TO BE KIM TAN IN 'THE HEIRS' FOR THIS REASON

spacer.png

Lee Min Ho's career made him a star actor around the world and his role in The Heirs was key in it. he himself revealed what was the reason that encouraged him to be part of the cast.

The Korean actor revealed that he was already 27 years old when he accepted the role of Kim Tan in The Heirs, so he pondered that this might be one of his last chances to participate in a school-themed K-Drama. Lee Min Ho confessed that considering he was in his late twenties, he wanted to be a part of a drama like this where he could play a story about youth and the challenges of a student's life.

Taking this into account, the protagonist of Legend of the Blue Sea felt that the character of Kim Tan came to him at just the right time, so he chose to take the role in the drama

According to the list of ep1. to ep3 for Korean's deliberation, the leading actors are Soji Arai, Jin Ha, and Inji Jeong.

Hope LMH's screen time will not be too short. It spent him over 1 year and his next work is pending right now. :(
Hansu is not a leading role in the novel, right ? I should not but I'm worrying.

@gtLmh0622 ye, I agree with you that the leading actors in "Pachinko" are them. LMH's role is not very big since the story focuses on Sunja, ... She's appearing throughout the novel. Youn Yuh Jung's character is named Sunja who's the Oscar-winning actress. :heart3:

The first trailer of Pachinko, the new series of Apple tv+ with Lee Minho and Youn Yuh Jung in the cast, should be released tomorrow

************

The book does focus on Sunja. And the top billing of the series is Youn Yuh Jung. Me thinks we may need to manage our expectations

Is anyone else scared to see the trailer?  Maybe scared isn't the right word--nervous, anxious?

I think so too.  Remember when we first heard about Pachinko, we had a discussion about Hansu not being a prominent figure in the book.  He's the catalyst, but fades into the background in the book.

5 marshals of love "cold outside, warm inside" Korean screens

Roses 21:10 - February 22, 2022

Korean romantic films have always been very focused on creating a main character with many different and new character traits. I see that in countless romantic love songs, guys who are "cold on the outside, warm on the inside" are likely to make a strong impression on the audience.

This is a male character with an unapproachable, rebellious appearance, but in fact contains a fragile, warm and gentle soul. Let's take a look at these typical character types in legendary movies below!

Lee Min Ho ("Flowers Over Berries")

The role of the rebellious boy Gu Jun Pyo in the 2009 blockbuster Boys Over Flowers (Meteor Garden) propelled Lee Min Ho's name to the top of the list of stars in the Korean entertainment industry. With good looks, a standard "rich kid" attitude and an impressive performance, this character role also earned him a prestigious award.

Young Master Gu Jun Pyo of Boys Over Flowers is a man who always tries to be nice in front of his unrequited love, but for some reason can't express his feelings, so he becomes very "disappointing" towards his partner. This is also the reason why Goo Jun Pyo finds an excuse to quarrel with the main character Geum Chan Di (Goo Hye Sun).

I feel nervous for him as well.but I read that the actual author wasn’t involved

with the script so maybe the scriptwriting on the series may feature more

of Hansu (hope that makes sense!)

Lots of people on Twitter are going to hashtag after the trailer

Someone has also kindly put the viewing time on for each country.

The UK is at 9pm- USA it says 0400 Mexico 3 in the afternoon etc.

(grateful thanks to miminholee on twitter)

Finally Pachinko trailer is coming!!!! :hooray:

This Minoz on Twitter posted different time for every location.

Lucky you guys who are based in USA, you'll be able to watch it real time, while I will be most likely still asleep lol.

As with the discussion around LMH's screen time in Pachinko, I'm trying to manage my expectation. The series is about Sunja, not focused on Hansu, so it's expected that LMH screen time will not be maximum. Nevertheless, still very excited to see LMH nails Hansu's character and we will see his matured acting in his first Hollywood project!

Still hoping and manifesting another acting work confirmation from LMH this year :please:

Regarding that release time for tomorrow, ms. soo hugh's tweet did not mention a specific time. So who's the source of that 1pm pst info? I wonder if its really correct.

-About lmh's screentime in pachinko, im also hoping he will have more appearances than like whats in the book, but i wont be so hurt if he doesnt:D... I always remind myself "story is about sunja and her fam not hansu, be calm, dont expect too much:lol:"
