Ah I forgot about that little detail completely. You are right about the security system but then how did she 'breach' their security system. She wasn't the genius. But for the sake of drama logic, I accept it. We can't be questioning rationality if we wish to remain sane.

The synopsis says that the husband's daughter so she is the step mom. We definitely know that her 'mom' is not really her mom as she is still looking for her mother.

She was away for a long time and we don't know what she was doing all this time. It is implied that she has been planning for this revenge while she was in the US. What was she doing in the US? Did she study, train and work in security systems covertly. She may already have been taught by her father when she was a child. There was a conversation when Ra El's fake mom told her to be careful that she may have been recognized by Seo Yun Pyeong and that they don't want to compromise their plan which they have prepared for a long time. So the woman who is posing as the "mom" maybe a relative or someone who knew and worked with the dad or the NIS and has an ax to grind also against the Han group. So many implied themes in this first episodes.

One thing too, Eun Pyeong was looking at a picture of Kang Yoon Kyum and his daughter talking with Ra El at the entrance of ballet school. He knows that Yoon Kyum is married to the daughter of Han who is Ra El's enemy. So, from that picture he can already foresee what Ra El is up to and that the woman is Ra El. What will Eun Pyeong do? Will he help Ra El or try to stop her?

Watch: Seo Ye Ji And Park Byung Eun Find Their Rhythm Behind The Scenes Of “Eve”

tvN’s new drama “Eve” has revealed a behind-the-scenes look at the first two episodes!

“Eve” is a new romance-revenge drama about a chaebol‘s 2 trillion won (approximately $1.7 billion) divorce lawsuit that shocks the entire nation. Unbeknownst to the public, the lawsuit is the result of a carefully calculated revenge scheme 13 years in the making. Seo Ye Ji stars as Lee Ra El, the dangerously alluring woman at the center of the divorce lawsuit, while Park Byung Eun stars as Kang Yoon Kyum, the CEO of LY Group.

The behind-the-scenes video begins with Seo Ye Ji’s appearance at a party as her character sets out on her quest for revenge. She then meets up with Park Byung Eun, where he rehearses his lines by asking her if she knows how to play the bandoneon, which is an instrument similar to an accordion. Before filming, Seo Ye Ji receives guidance from a professional in order to appear as a skilled musician.

Park Byung Eun has another skill to master before filming another scene—dancing the tango. While staff mill around the room, the actor weaves back and forth as he practices his dance steps. At one point, he stops after completing a spin and puts his hands to his head due to dizziness. He then makes excited gestures after receiving approval from a professional dancer on set.

Next, Yoo Sun appears on the stairwell, playing her part as Han So Ra, the sophisticated wife of Kang Yoon Gyum. Despite her cold and haughty appearance when the cameras are rolling, she is full of laughter and smiles behind the scenes. She also takes on the role of an acting coach for the child on set, showing him how to express fear in his eyes. Yoo Sun encourages him when he follows her advice, saying, “You did a good job! Do it just like that.”

In another scene, Jung Hae Kyun sits calmly eating a snack while filming a pivotal scene involving Lee Ra El’s father. Lee Sang Yeob appears on set and picks up a pipe as if he were going to use it in the fight scene, but the director jokes, “Don’t come holding that,” which leads him to sheepishly apologize and set it down. Lee Sang Yeob then rehearses each of his movements to make sure the scene goes smoothly without incident. Afterwards, he walks by the camera and sighs, “Ah, I’m tired.”

dealing with the inside story.

Spoiler

hai everyone. :D caught in episode 1 and 2, I like it so far and worked for me I still remember Seo Ye Ji in 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay' when I saw the trailer for this, I thought I should at least check it out. in my opinion, she is really good in this, very believable because her story is told with such love and tenderness scenes. she plays the smart, beautiful and somewhat crazy characters really well. Eun Pyeong was knowing in, his gut that La El is still alive so he continues the search. a little disturbing but curious to see how things are going to unfold. I think this will be one heck of a melodrama. sounds scandalous.. I'll be watching it.

3 Big Lies Seo Ye Ji Tells In Her Quest For Revenge In “Eve”

Each episode of “Eve” continues to unravel a never-ending mystery!

tvN’s romance-revenge drama “Eve” is about a chaebol‘s 2 trillion won (approximately $1.7 billion) divorce lawsuit that shocks the entire nation. Unbeknownst to the public, the lawsuit is the result of a carefully calculated revenge scheme 13 years in the making.

Seo Ye Ji stars as Lee Ra El, the dangerously alluring woman at the center of the divorce lawsuit whose true identity and lifestyle is slowly starting to come to light. As the drama continues to dive deeper into Lee Ra El’s quest for revenge, here are three of the biggest lies she’s told so far.

1. Lee Ra El’s second name Kim Sun Bin

The mysterious Lee Ra El has numerous cards up her sleeve, such as her second identity Kim Sun Bin. In the latest broadcast, National Assembly member Seo Eun Pyung (Lee Sang Yeob) investigated the belongings of Kang Yoon Kyum (Park Byung Eun) to check whether Lee Ra El was alive. After discovering a photo of Ra El, he visited her studio and she introduced herself as Kim Sun Bin. On top of that, all the certificates placed around her studio were awarded to Kim Sun Bin, previewing her extreme lie of falsifying her identity in order to get revenge. However, Seo Eun Pyung was eventually able to confirm that Kim Sun Bin is Lee Ra El, leaving viewers wondering how his awareness will affect the story.

2. Lee Ra El’s fake mother-daughter relationship with Jang Moon Hee

Instead of living with her real mother Kim Jin Sook (Kim Jung Young), Lee Ra El instead lives with Jang Moon Hee (Lee Il Hwa) and they pretend to be mother and daughter. Although they have demonstrated their sweet mother-daughter relationship in front of Seo Eun Pyung and even Lee Ra El’s husband Jang Jin Wook (Lee Ha Yul) and daughter Jang Bo Ram (Kim Si Woo), the pair is completely different when they’re alone. Specifically when Seo Eun Pyung visits Lee Ra El, Jang Moon Hee states, “We’ve prepared for over 10 years. You can’t be interrupted by anyone.”

Additionally, Lee Ra El’s real mother Kim Jin Sook’s resident registration has been written off and she is unable to be found, leaving viewers questioning whether she is alive.

3. The tango dancing, bandoneon, and marriage all intended to get revenge against Kang Yoon Kyum

Inside Lee Ra El’s room of secrets is a wall full of photos featuring anyone and everyone associated with Kang Yoon Kyum, her target for revenge. A particular photo of interest was taken in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2011 of Kang Yoon Kyum and Lee Ra El’s husband Jang Jin Wook. Lee Ra El uses this to try and steal Kang Yoon Kyum’s heart through tango dancing and bandoneon, which are representative of Argentina.

As this shows that Lee Ra El’s dancing and music ability is solely for revenge, it raises questions about whether her marriage to Jang Jin Wook is also part of her scheme.

Episode 3 of “Eve” will air on June 8 at 10:30 p.m. KST.

WOW!!! I love this show.!!

I thought that ML was seriously dismissing Ra El and then he patched her up.  Dude is screaming "I will fix you" vibes.  That tension of bandaging her up and opening the door together was palpable beyond my computer screen.

interestingly Ra El told her "mother" ML saw her hurting herself but she never told her that he helped clean her up and fix her.

Is she really becoming attracted to him?  Does she like him?

Its getting more interesting!

The plot is a bit incredible at times.  But that is what "Makjang" is all about.  IMO, at least it is not as "Crazy" as "Penthouse".  I  gave up "Penthouse"  at "Penthouse 1" because for me it  resembles a "Madhouse" where everyone is a Lunatic.  No more Story or Sanity.

"Eve" has not descended into that Level yet..

But I don't like the way the FL hurts herself.  It is incredible that her Body is not filled with "Scars".  In which case she will not be "Desirable" any more.

Her Husband is so "innocent".  But he is also part of her father's extermination.  Can be considered an Enemy.  She is "Sleeping With The Enemy".  What a Price for Revenge:pensive:

P/S: I'm surprise that this Thread is quite "Deserted".    Not that many Viewers
