I don't know who is more evil in character between the 2 "sons" Cha Sung Jae and Choi Ho Sik. Cha Sung Jae killed Hwang Tae Soo together with his mother then took over the dead person's identity, and live as Hwang Tae Soo. Sung Jae stole $80 billion won from the company he represents and put it in a paper company under the name of Hwang Tae Soo, ensuring that the only person who can touch the money in the paper company is "Hwang Tae Su" who is actually Cha Sung Jae. And according to Moon Young's conversation with the detective, the "dead" Sung Jae would leave a life insurance and lots of money named to his wife MY therefore making his wife the suspect of his "death" and sent to prison. MY should be doing her very best to get that SOB of a husband and mother in law sent to prison for murder. On the other hand Choi Ho Sik accused his father Choi Mo Won of having an affair with a younger woman and got his father booted out of his position as CEO. He now is the CEO of Geumsin Development and he got Sung Jae as the lawyer who stole 80 billion. But the last episode, it could tip the balance for worse child to CHS, or maybe not, they just as evil as the other.

I don't understand why they kept the identity of the Gidaeryong. Since "he", the Gidaeryong was sent to Ching by orders of the Ching emperor to play baduk, that could have been the end of the Gidaeryong character in Joseon. Instead of the character of KMW returning as the Gidaeryong to Joseon, what could have been done was to come back as HS together with her father, since it was already said that the Ching dynasty was in the verge of internal struggle with Prince Rui and some other Ching Prince vying for the position of "Emperor". The king could have brought back the father of Hee Soo and sent someone else to take his position as the Joseon Envoy. Therefore, HS would have been free to be herself and her father give his blessing to marry the king.

I know right. I mean now that Sung Woo knows that Jung Ae was not his birth mother but died of an illness, would SW not be curious about his birth mother and her relatives? Why did Ki Seok seem to have completely left them out of his life?

Mong Woo has to `die`. Hee Soo can` t stay in a man disguised forever. It is time for lady Kang to appear. I wish we`ll have another heroine but we are stuck with Hee soo. I am waiting the end of this drama to move on. I agree, MW has to die for Hee Soo to rise. The question from all the people who used to know her and her father would be, where have you been all these time? Why did you pop up just now?

The scene that touched me most was the young Prince after the king made him the CP. He went to the ill queen to bow and said, "now I can really call you mother". The sick queen was relieved and said now she can rest and died just as the Prince seemed so happy to tell the Queen that she was officially his mother. I cried to see the young CP crying his heart out. The child actor was so good. It was supposed to be a day of family celebration for the young prince. I was yelling at the screen, can someone hug the young CP?

I think the king was testing her. The young prince whom the king wanted to be CP, may have made Hee Soo think or see the king differently or at least consider looking deeper into her father's political destruction and death . During her conversation with the young prince she asked if the prince was not afraid of the king, the young prince said that he was afraid of the king when the king gets angry because he did something wrong that was harmful to the king but most of the time, he trusted that the king will protect him, even when he heard the palace maids gossip that the king will one day harm. The prince said that his uncle loves him and will protect him and even the uncle who was secretly plotting against the king. The king so far has demonstrated his love for his nephew, allowing him to learn Baduk, making time to play with him and even making him the CP. If this romance of Heeso and the king were to be saved it is about time that Hee Soo gets a brain and see what the young prince sees in the king, that her enemy is not the king but the people who wants to harm the king. It is about time that she uses the strategies of the Baduk player in her thinking and her actions. She needs to verify her father's history, who his political enemies were, who and why his father got killed.

The drama needs to give Hee Soo some brains. ASAP She needs to realize by now who her enemies are, that it isn't the king but the people telling her to go against the king. She was educated by her father, she is a baduk player and supposedly the best, but why the drama makers are happy in making her stupid is puzzling. If a romance between the king and Heesoo is the objective make Hee Soo someone an intelligent and astute king can appreciate, a woman worth having a crown on her head. The one character who is making the drama worth watching is the king.

IKR, no rhyme or reason character, JW does not need a puppy, she needs help for her mental health ASAP, story should have concentrated on husband and JW and how both resolve their biggest problem the psych sickness of JW,

Yeah, I love JJS as king, and I stayed for him too. I agree that the best couple in this drama is the king and his faithful bodyguard

Let us see if the wife of Lefty Minister will finally have her eyes opened to realize how evil her husband is, that he was willing to have her son killed and it was because of her husband that she thought her son died. Lefty Minister will lose his family and his position and hopefully will be punished justly for all the crimes he committed. I was still hoping that the brother of DIL was alive that the young man who died was a decoy but the Finance Minister's wife verified before her last breath that the brother died. We still do not know what the jade object was and what the letter of the late king was about that the brother sacrificed his life for. Because that was the proof that would doom the left minister and connect him to the death of the late king.

HS wanted revenge on the king thinking that he caused her father's fall, however, she is not thinking that the King represents the country he rules, The King represents Joseon and therefore the wrath of Qing will not fall only on the King but the whole country of Joseon since Joseon is considered a tributary state of Qing. That much was said by the Qing ambassador that the freedom or repatriation of the Joseon people held in Qing depends much on the marriage of the Princess and Prince of Qing. Heeso as the daughter of a courtier who was supposedly educated by her father should know that. Does her desire for revenge over rule her compassion for her country and her people? exactly, did she ever talk really talk to her father? She was always away playing Baduk, that was her talent. So why does she believe that she knows everything about what happened to her father? She knows nada

For me, it is the king who will be most hurt, the utmost betrayal of his sincerity in loving Mongwoo/Heeso. He was played by Hee Soo. It is ridiculous that she endangered the whole of Joseon including the resulting withdrawal of the repatriation of the people of Joseon who are being held captive in the Qing Dynasty because of her "dumb plan". This was not only about the Princess, this was about the safety of the Joseon people held captive in Qing, who were going to be freed as a result of the marriage of the Princess. Even the Princess, young as she is understood that much even if she did not approve of the decision. It also endangered the relationship of Joseon with the Qing. If MW is revealed as Hee Soo, the whole court of Joseon and even the people of Joseon will consider her a traitor and the king will have a hard time defending her. I don't know how the storytellers will get out of this plot hole they themselves made.

Yeah, husband was in love with someone else and left his country to follow the one he was in love with and got banished to China and announced dead by his father. He also feels guilty that because he "left" his "bride", she has suffered the dismal fate of a widow for 15 long years. So, if he figures out that his wife and So Hoo are in love, he may even help them get together. Maybe the brother of YH is still alive and all the good guys will beat Lefty and his gang of baddies

I love that SW is moving on from the woman who is always on the verge of crying and can't make up her own mind. SW deserves someone strong and devoted as well as professional.

I was shaking my head. I mean, an uneducated maid, even if a royal maid for a long time, still has not the education, training and upbringing of someone who was born as a royal. That was the most stupid idea. If the king lost his interest in her, it is well and good. The Princess already agreed for the sake of her brother and country. Too bad, it started so well and the romance was something anticipated until the mountain load of a plot hole.... revenge. Imagine how the Qing court especially Prince Rui, will take that as the biggest insult. Someone should have researched more on ancient international royal protocols. Did Hee Soo want the vengeance of the Qing court to rain on Joseon? Hee Seo, fell on a plot hole and brought the whole drama with her.
