Qn for long time LMH fans, which religion does he belong to? It seems that KGE is a stauch christian as she gave thanks to Christ when she got the first few awards.

I am with you and its REALLY annoying, a lot of his fans have gone from genuinely loving his person to obsessing about the idea of him for themselves which isn't healthy at all, from the start of the announcement of him working with KGE, they trolled her simple looks and said she was no match for him visually and some of KGE fans retaliated and called him a bad popular actor who was just a pretty face.

 

When the first two episodes were aired, its was all sorts horrendous backlash, LMH has better chemistry with maximus and woo do hwan, she is too rude, they both look so wrong together, she had better chemistry with Gong yoo,he is for PSH, he is for SHK,  how did she suddenly fall for him after reaching his universe, her character is a gold digger,  it was just endless drama for like 2-3 weeks, they just didn't want to give the drama a chance because of their own idea of who LMH should work with, but the miraculous thing that happened was that this drama generated new fans that gave it a chance and that's why its always top on netflix

 

Even my younger friend a non kdrama watcher that saw the king on Netflix was instantly swooned by LMH and asked me for his IG account and watched all his other dramas on netflix , she later came back and said why does it seem like he looks sad in a lot of his Ig posts and before I knew she joined the 'he is mine' gang in her head and became jealous of Kim Goeun, in her words 'it looks like he really likes that girl, he looks at her differently ' , I had to school her on purging off obsession on kactors by moving on to the next one quickly, so I recommended CLOY to her and before I knew it, she now has a basket of oppas in 4 short weeks thanks to the lock down.

 

I am however glad that fate brought them together despite all attempts to make their castings seem off, and these two broke all the records and became a formidable team and hopefully they are team in real life till the end.

Woah despite watching this drama since day 1 I didn't know they received soo much backlash. I'm one drama old of both LMH and KGE. I watched heirs and goblin. Both were good. But in TKEM they were beyond amazing. It's like they bring the best out of each other. Trust me this couple is not like any other normal couple. I'm saying this because I'm following them since the drama aired in April. I didn't ship them because they look good or they have amazing chemistry (which is true) but I saw something beyond likeThe way LMH started giving subtle signs that he likes her. Their skinship. I watched them going from being awkward to laughing their a**es off during the kiss scenes. Their journey is like from strangers to lovers. Gosh I can never unsee this couple nor can I ship them with anyone else in future. This ship is for life

I'm all in if they want to be public about their relationship. When KGE was dating SHK, their dating news was announced rather than caught by dispatch. So it got me thinking that KGE might not worry much about going public if they are indeed dating. She likes honesty, she is honest about her dating fellow sunbae, SHK. She must be honest also this time around.  it's a matter of time. Now it's the time of airing. Any other news will take the limelight from this drama and shone on them only. They would not want that.

If people will see them together, then they will have nothing to explain to (not that they owe anyone for any explanations to begin with). Going public, could also be a way of protecting their relationship: haters will have no choice but to concede, it'll deter any other men from trying to woo your woman, and will force other women to rethink their actions before openly flirting with a man. What can people do at that point? Probably take more pictures I guess, and forever be green with envy.

 

As for LMH and KGE, it's fate that they met each other at the highest points in their careers, and at such a mature stage in their life. I really couldn't find any good reason to deny a relationship, other than:

(A) they really don't feel the same way and these are all for show, or
(B) there are more important priorities in their lives than a relationship.

 

I think reason A has been debunked for about 250 pages in this thread (and counting!), so the only option left is B. If B happens, the shipper in me would terribly feel sad as I think their connection is one of the most authentic I've seen in show business, and has the makings of a potential long-lasting marriage. But then I suppose if that ever happens, it's something we'll all have to live with, yeah?

I totally agree with your comments and thoughts. I respect celebrities who are opened about their relationships but yet fiercely protect it. Whilst we say we should give celebrities privacy and respect, I think the lives of celebrities is different and it is inevitable that their personal lives may be more exposed than others. Hence, if the couple are both celebrities, they should be opened to the public but protect it by supporting, trusting and respecting each other in this harsh reality world. It is a little different if one is a celebrity but the better half is not. Then it makes a lot of sense to protect the other half from the public eye.

 

I may be wrong but I think it is hard for these famous people to find the right partner, date and settle down, because maybe they are too busy (common excuse given), they fall for other temptations (other seemingly better person, girls who throws themselves at male celebrities, money, etc). Or there are a lot of uncertainties to trusting someone in this industry.

 

But I firmly believe if two persons boldly take the right steps forward, trust and respect each other, have common goals to settle down to start a family, then such relationships should work. All it takes is that first step. No one will know what will happen in a relationship, but we will never know if we don't even dare to try. You don't just fall in love at first sight, you choose to love.

 

Philosophy aside, I really hope LMH and KGE will give each other a chance. I never knew their pairing could actually be so visually matching and beautiful, with such mutual common characteristics. I used to think LMH would need to find someone beautiful and sexy, you know, the type that is just beautiful without doubt. But seeing him with KGE, I cannot imagine him with anyone else. In fact, I cannot even imagine him with Suzy or PMY. Why people say Suzy is pretty? I will choose KGE anyday.

I wonder what type of promotional contract that SBS have with netflix. Does SBS have a say how netflix promotes hence why it’s so lackluster and blergh?Why netflix didnt go all out on swoon channel like CLOY For example...just for comparison purposes..They have the mission pong, couch talk, Compliment, decorate calendar stuff. I was expecting ALLLL of these or even more. Sigh... ( it just that...less videos means less breadcrumbs )

 

The sudden frustration bcos I saw swoon just casually dropped a ‘Casual Interview’ for another K drama just after 5 days their couch talk being released.

How did she date shk? He's like 17yrs older than her also they didn't work together either and I don't think they have any similarities. MinEun are different. LMH makes her feel special. His eyes are only for her. His smile is only for her. He acts smitten only for her. Posted only pictures with her ahhh a story straight out of a fairytale. I hope KGE accepts him

She probably dated shk in hopes of fulfilling her life dream of marrying early, but she also found out soon enough that they didn't jell and the age gap was also a major problem in their relationship, they were just too different and naturally drifted apart before they had a chance to get closer.
