Juno was under her mother's claws. Because her mother was dead set on making her Queen due to her bloodline. If anything, the true villain in the arc is Qing Hua. Should have shown her mean streak towards Aranya in jail. How she forced her own flesh and blood to commit suiside. Juno was a tool, Chang Di was a fool.

I perceived Aranya's Dream to be from the perspective of CY. He created it with his obsession, regrets, love, and memories. He pretty much blamed everyone in that tribe for the treatment and death of Aranya, so the key players in her death were reflected as antagonists. Like it or not, Ju Nuo was the reason why their mother was so ruthless.

In a way the one most at fault was the Shang Jun. He murdered his own brother and took his wife as his own. Devastated Qing Hua became cruel and crazy. Ju Nuo was a child from her first husband, that's why she was so set on putting her on the throne. That therein is the reason for treating Aranya so badly. She is the first born daughter of the man who murdered the man she truly loved. So in the end it is the Shang Jun's own bad karma that resulted in all this.

We will release more posts gradually and for tomorrow, look out for the 5,000 word Bodhi Fate (prologue and Episode 1). We understand that some of you are interested in the family tree and perhaps some illustrations from Tang Qi's picture book which will also make their apperance in due time. 

 

Also do note that the first time this site loads will take slightly longer. But subsequent loads will be faster as cache memory stores the site.

there is a new post about the translated Bodhi’s fate. Dong Hua as a slacker sounds so cute. He’s so smart but sleeps through class. If Zhe Yan is there, where is Bai Zhi? Though...why is DH collecting rocks at the blue sea? Is he that bored? Is he making a rock garden?

hope there will be new features like detailed character bios

From what I understood, the father of Junou was a king who did good deeds. Unfortunately, his own brother coveted not only the crown, but his wife as well. When Shang Jun took the throne after murdering his brother, shouldn't have the archmage that time reported it to heaven? Was regicide not a reason enough, so long that it was done by the king before seizing the throne?

 

Chen Ye, Junou, Aranya, Changdi, and Xiangli He were victims of power play in the palace. Aranya most of all suffered; most likely despised from the time she was conceived.

Aranya's death was her regret. Junuo was in love with the man who loved Aranya. That man is none other than her cousin, Shen Ye. That was the reason for her hostility to Aranya. In the end though, Junuo realised that she was also a pawn on the chessboard.

That was Shaowan insulting her friends in a friendly way. It was sarcasm. She just means she was already worshipped as a demon ancestor while these 2 friends were still nobody hahah.

Aww..poor ZL. Wiki listed him as just a housekeeper of Tai Chen Palace. Surely he is more than that! What is his full title if anyone have any idea? Was he ever mentioned as having a real title? He was part of the Avengers during the last battle! Although he just laid down for the most part of it...
