How cute you are!  after u finish the drama you have to make a review here  I am looking forward to read it.

Meanwhile, I was doing a mental calculation, when i should start watching the drama, considering they air the final 2 eps on thursday, so that when i start watching, not to finish before thursday    first world problems, i know

Why do I feel like the director was subbed or absent during some of the scenes? Like generally ELOD was great, the details, angles, they're mostly consistent (the feel) except on some 'important scenes'. One for me CY and XZ 'Aranya had died' scene, up to CY creating the dream, I dunno its so wreck for me, the details were so not there. Now I see FJ and ZY 'You're pregnant' scene. This was so written heart breakingly in the book. They could have done better than just Dilraba and Baron standing there. That details we can see in most in the episodes is not so here in build up climax. (Aside from bad editing, which I highly think is due to the 'special edition thing' or else (face palm))

 

That 1 day in heaven is 1 yr in mortal realm. Its a mess. They should cut this out. I dont know if the heaven event were done for 6 mos (which will be correct if FJ mortal realm 200years/360 days heaven) but I dunno this made DH searching time so insignificant (6mos).

 

 

True, there were a lot of parts that really frustrated me. Especially the scene with Liansong, Zheyan and Baizhi talking about Fengjiu. That part felt a bit dry. The part where Fengjiu learned that she was pregnant was too abrupt. 
 

For this drama, I don’t usually scream that this and that didn’t happen in the book but I didn’t like how some of my favorite lines from the book were being delivered. 

 

Also, I can’t help but notice that the last episodes lacks consistency. Guess it had to do with the cutting down of episodes. Sigh.

I tried telling myself this but I ended up watching the two episodes and left me with a swirl of emotions.
 

Also, since I thought that they’ll be releasing the final episodes tomorrow, why not watch? I really did not expect that they’ll be releasing the last eps on Thursday.

If it's possible to do it, the last five episodes should be the first to be edited before the rest of a series. I can tolerate crappy beginnings or lousy in-between, but not a rushed or badly edited ending/finale episodes.

Di Jun looked mystified, “How am I hugging you like a pillow?”

 

Feng Jiu laughed coldly, “Don’t lie. When I was a fox in Tai Chen Palace, I saw you hugging the pillow in exactly the same way while sleeping. You did not know me then.”

 

Di Jun paused, and said nothing. Feng Jiu sulked (imagine her making the hhh sound with her turning away), “You did indeed treat me like a pillow.” So I managed to make his Majesty speechless for once, Feng Jiu, you are such a brave genius, she thought proudly of herself while saying those words.

 

The room was silent for a moment. Di Jun lifted his head off her shoulder and with swift arm and leg movements, moved her underneath him. 

 

Feng Jiu: “What are you you you doing?’ 

 

Di Jun calmly undid her sash: “I want to prove to you that I did not treat you like a pillow.”

 

Feng Jiu:”....”

 

As the morning sun streamed into their bedroom window, Feng Jiu’s mind stopped working momentarily, The question was how could such an innocent conversation develop into this situation?

 

She looked helplessly on as her clothes were flung off the bed and onto the floor, feeling stupefied.

Waiting for her to wake made him grow hungry. I can only imagine. Ahahah

 

But in seriousness, you could’ve waited for a few days after Fengjiu woke up. Ahahahaha

I think it'll be the Blue Sea because he did a lot of arrangement,  home decoration as she wished. But as Qingqiu's monarch, can she not live there most of the time?

I think is called fuling flower, from the English translation. Not sure the Chinese name.

@LaxClyne  yes I agree to me it feels  like some scenes were directed or written by different people, we had more kissing scenes in Aryans dream after that just forehead kisses I don't know if the director just got tired of trying to make the main leads kiss more passionate and he just gave up and decided to make it more sweet instead, as for all that you mention I think the problem was time  they had to tell alot in a few chapters and sadly that was the part of the story that had the most important things and details 

I believe they didn't film the drama in chronological order. As we can see from the bts they filmed the mortal arc and Su Moye part during the summer. The rolling kiss and cave scene during autumn because the cast and crew were wearing coats. So they filmed the sweet kisses first then the passionate kisses later.

Two episodes can be cleared from the mortal arc if it means well edited finale episodes. Some scenes can be dispensed with such as Nie Chuyie using magic to go back in time, JH "mourning" for her late mother,  and  FJ getting jailed due to the scheming bro of SXR to name a few.

I think they thought we will like the mortal arc but many people felt its too long and draggy. everyone wanted to get to part they meet....

i totally hated the Eternal Love part of them. I just FF it especially after I read the book, i knew that version weren't them at all.

They film on location so it cannot be filmed in chronological order. They would have filmed similar scenes at same place at same time. For example, all the tai chen gong parts were done all together. This included the fox period and all the sweet moments there. Qing Qiu is filmed in Yunnan so all scenes there would havd been done together. Every show is placed into episodes at the editing stage.

 

9 heavens scenes are filmed on a set built on a sound stage
