I told myself I wouldn't but am planning on pre-ordering the Goblin Soundtrack! how could i not after all i've devoted to this show
I am curious to what the differences in the photo book will be between the two packs. Which one(s) did you all order? I feel like I'm the only one who ordered pack 1

one sentence said by KS get my attention as if i heard for the first time "it would be nice if we meet in the middle" i still believe there is something uncovered about Sunny maybe i am delusional coz i can't tolerate any negative thoughts about their possible fate, we had our big share of miserable moments for 13 episodes , we hardly had happy scene yet i am proud that although WangSun had small screen time , almost no skinship and no special effects they were able to grab fan's heart

If you have someone who can help you, I got it on the Korean site yes24. It was $35 for the set that includes BOTH covers (4cds and 2 posters). That included shipping. I got 4 sets though so that is combined shipping. The OST double set is 40,000 Won. I don't know how much it costs to ship to Canada but it should be comparable.

You hit the nail on the head with this one! I am looking for reasons to love the King and I find none! He has my sympathy as the tragic fool but that is all. Unlike Kim Shin and Kim Sun, his suicide can't be seen as a form of resistance. It was the decision of a depressed individual who couldn't handle his guilt. His suicide was like cherry on top of a cake for the Eunuch (ironic that he couldn't eat it)! 
I can see the Queen/Reaper being Gabriel rather than the King/Reaper.

Glad you’re doing that, @staygold But wait a second! There’s more about the King’s suicide in my next post. This is a three-pronged strategy to clarify some things brought up in Episode 13. I’m just pacing myself and you, too. But the last one should be addressed to @sakurayukihime I’ll tag you. 

Anyway, it’s time to shift gears here a bit and talk about love. I’m tagging @NRGchick for this one. 

Question: What do you think did Shin mean when he said, “I love you. I already did that.”?

Some people thought he was referring to this moment in Episode 5, when he said “I love you” without emotions.

That time, when she asked if he loved her, he gave an excuse.  (lol. He’s always looking for excuses, wasn't he?) He said, “If you need that, I can do that too.”  He meant that if she needed some kind of guarantee, pledge or assurance of emotional attachment, then sure! he could give her that. 

He said this DELIBERATELY in order to hurt her and push her away from him. Why? Because he didn’t want to give her false promise and a false hope that he’d be there for her forever. Remember, at this point, he had already intended to end his life. He knew he must disappear before he started to cling to her in earnest. Because once he started clinging to her and wanting to live longer with her, then she would get hurt more. 

Do you see the problem? 

He was saying to ET: Once I love you more, then you’ll begin to love me more, too. But you’ll also be hurt more when I eventually have to leave. So… let’s call it quits now before this develops into something “MORE.”   

His problem was that her smile here during that one fine day in Quebec:

reminded him of his fate that noontime 939 years ago. He’d been punished by the gods to live and die with the goblin sword.

Talk about a "deadly" smile. Her smile reminded him of his death.

In Episode 5, Shin’s cold confession did the trick.

When it started pouring rain outside the building, ET saw that as a onfirmation of Shin’s dislike or distaste for her. So she resigned herself to having a “business” sort of relationship with Shin. As in, she’d live with him in order to pull as the sword because that was her assigned job to do as the Goblin’s Bride. No emotional entanglements.

Of course, the audience knew that the pouring rain meant the opposite of hatred. 

Now, @NRGchick and @staygold–

There’s nothing wrong with this point-of-view. If you connect Shin’s death confession in Episode 13, “I love you. I already did that” to his deathlike confession in Episode 5, “If you need that, I can do that too” that’s absolutely fine.

But I personally think Shin MEANT MORE. 

You see, he was immortal god whose sense of time is different from normal people.  

For us, human beings, we often see time in chronology. The Greeks have a word for this: chronos.  Meaning, there’s a sequence in time that goes from seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, centuries. Time is calculated and measured. It’s finite. 

But if you’re a god who lives FOREVER, then this notion of time broken down into segments is – seriously – sheer torture. If you’re a god who lives INFINITELY, then counting EACH SECOND of each day will be like hell on earth. It’s like counting all the grains of sand on the seashore. You’ll be thinking, “When will this ever end?? Good lord!   Please end this now.” 

For me, when Shin said, “I love you. I already did that” he was speaking with a different perception of time. 

What he meant was time in God’s dimension where there is no past, present or future. It’s a “moment in time”, or that “appointed season”, or the “right time”. It’s a piece of time with an indeterminate and unmeasurable length. There’s no strict timespan, because you’re living in the moment. The Greeks call this kairos. 

Our couple Shin and ET experienced this “kairos” a few times. Once was at the bus stop, when he caressed her hair and she stood there in trance. They became lost in “the moment” that they didn’t notice the bus come and go. 

Another time was the kiss at the pojangmacha. Shin attempted to stop time, but he couldn’t because ET was in HIS time dimension, too. And when they kissed, time stood still. That’s kairos, too. Same thing with the first snowfall in the field of buckwheat flowers. The snowflakes rose up to the sky, instead, of fall down to the ground. Time was reversed when she kissed him. 

See? The concept of time is different for Shin because he’s an immortal. 

When he said that he loved her, I think, he meant “from the very BEGINNING.” Even before that time in the snow. Even before his “first love” declaration in Quebec. Even before he met her on the street. Even before he saved her from her mother’s womb. 

He HAD ALREADY loved her.  

Hopefully, @romanov and @maryofbethany will understand me because, in our faith, that’s how we are all LOVED by God: from the very beginning of time. 

To paraphrase a biblical passage: Before ET was formed in her mother’s womb, she was known to him. Even before she was born, she was already consecrated and bound to him. She was appointed and blessed to be the Goblin’s bride. ET may have viewed the accident of her birth as a miracle, but for Shin it was part of divine plan.  

Seen in this light, THAT whole scene in Episode 4, when he was acted like a drunk, would take on a different meaning.

ET asked him how he’d lived until then, and he replied, “I lived waiting for you.” ET didn’t know how to interpret that. Lol. Then, a few minutes later, she asked him how many brides had there been before her. And he replied that she was “the first and the last.” When wondered how he would know that she was the last, he answered, “Because I’ve decided that you are.” 

He really meant what he said: from the very beginning, he lived waiting for her.

In Episode 5, Shin also hinted at his eternal love on the rainy drive from the hotel back to the Goblin’s house – after that “If you need it, I can say I love you” scene. In the car, ET wanted to know his name. She was the Goblin’s Bride after all so she should know his name, at the very least. When he didn’t respond immediately, ET sadly reflected that “the two of us…can’t even be considered a pair yet, it seems.” 

Shin then corrected her, saying, “No, we were a pair, even before you were born. The two of us, I mean.” 

But of course, she didn’t understand that very well.  Just like I don’t think she understood it either at the end when he told her that he’d come back as the rain, he’d come back as the first snowfall… It will take time. 

When he said “I love you. I’ve already done that,” he meant since time immemorial. The rain and the snowfall are both seasons in time without end, and he will always be there for her. In his time. In god’s time.

Like in all fairy tales, the true kiss would turn the frog into a prince, the beast into a prince, and the goblin into a broom into an even greater man that ET could ever have imagined. And ET already found him impressive. 

Also note the absence of rain when he was dying, unlike in Episode 5. It should have rained in torrents when he was dying because that had got to be one of the saddest, forever farewell ever (remember now my definition of farewell = never see you again). But it didn’t. He didn’t cry when he disappeared. 

His name is Kim Shin. It means to believe.

On my forum, one girl was of the opinion that the king didn't kill nor queen nor a KS. It is specifically tried to send him away that he has not been killed by devil eunuch. And he forbade giving medicine for the queen, because it was poison. In episode 13, the inspector from Grim Reaper Auditors Team told to GR: "the greatest sin, which is taking your own life". Suicide, not murder.

We had that discussion already days ago

and yes the greatest sin they said is suicide

Someone said, the greatest sin, as of bible-terms, is blasphemia.

I don't know about other countries, but until 20 or 30 years ago there was NO person, who was not baptized or who did suicide, allowed to be buried in sacred earth in Germany and Luxembourg. 
Killing yourself is a crime against god, as you do not honor and appreciate the gift he bestowed upon you.

In case you wonder ... those people were buried on the other side of the fence ... I grew up in the neighborhood of the village priest and my dad was really religious ... I was preached such things often enough

So you could kill, steal, curse god whatever ... if you are baptized you are buried on the graveyard, which was always surrounded by a fence, wall or bushes ... but did you fail to be baptized or commit suicide you were not allowed ON the graveyard ... so I guess that tells a lot

Noo... Nothing of the kind was stated or implied. When it rains Goblin is sad. It does not necessarily have to do with her thought it usually does naturally.

Oh I can help out with that. It's right after he said that he loves her in the most aloof manner. She thinks that he's sad because he doesn't want to love her, that he hates her, which is obviously wrong since he's just sad that things have to be this way and that he can't love her in the right way.

Thanks for tagging me @Princi_86. I feel the same as you and @selenette. To be honest the Wang-Sun ship never got off ground anyway. Their happy moments were few & far between. Although I had many times wished for more screen time for them but I understand that overall the priority should be given to the main storyline.  I don't know how it will end for Wang-Sun and at this point it seems like a lost cause.  In spite of the limited development of their love-line, I will hold out hope that our writer will give us a beautiful end for them.  Thinking of some of their happier moments:
