I must say that the absolute best for me would be the first one... No reincarnation, please! Or if reincarnation/awakening in the future must be, at least make them remember! I just CANNOT exchange the 4th Prince for a regular, common Korean salaryman who lead an ordinary life until then, even if he has the same (gorgeous) face!

But he is so much more than a pretty face. He's the whole package (drool worthy).

He would fit right in in modern life, he even know how to read emoji! \^0^/.

what would be the ultimate happy ending for me:

1. hae soo and wang so get to live happily ever after in georyo time. they rule the kingdom wisely to a prosperous country.

2. I end up with modern time wang so and live hapily ever after ...... the end :phew:

*i did say the ultimate happy ending for ME! a girl can dream :P

I don't see a happily ever after in Georyo times because that would change history. However, I do see a modern time Wang So.  That's the ending I'm hoping for in this drama.  I would love to see Hae Soo with a man that can put her cheating ex to shame.

Also, I hope when she comes back to modern time, her soap brand would carry on from her past history to modern times and she's the wealthy woman--maybe, she's the lost granddaughter or godchild or benefactor from a connection that goes back to her Georyo soap making days. Who knows, maybe Wang So's modern family is in charge of the soap making business in modern times and based on an ancient document, a debt is owed to Hae soo's family and he's looking for her to pay her back and they fall in love in modern times.  That's my happy ending.

Okay, because of this MLSHR Madness i'm having right now, I'm instantly BUYING plane ticket to SK next winter.

And MLSHR's shooting location will be on my bucket list.

CAN'T WAIT!!!!

@sooji28 During winter? Wouldnt it be super cold?
I booked mine for spring next year. Talk about being brainwashed by Kdrama. Korean Tourism Board should give lots of love to Korean entertainment industry.

Monday is approaching...really want to watch the story around the "Kiss" from HaeSoo to WangSo. Really want to watch the boating scene with the sunlight behind WangSo. Really want to watch those two lovebirds laughing and be happy together.

But I don't want to watch what's going to happen between So and that little girl in red. I don't want to watch the Evil Eyeliner Prince's return. Don't want to watch CP dying.  Don't want to watch So and Soo be apart again.

I just don't want a sad ending

Frankly, I wouldn't even bother posting the "news" from these websites because I always find like 3+ factual mistakes/downright lies and another 3+ translation mistakes. Remember the time when they wrote how SBS wanted to cancel the show? Did they even watch the preview or did they just use Google translate?  If I were the person who published it I would be ashamed of myself, I mean even fans speculations are more correct than this.

@briseis Yeah, I'm with you there. Just skim thru it and don't bother to dig deep.

That's why I said you're so diligent.

You must be tired but you still manage to write something. But I guess when you like something, it becomes something to relieve your stress and you don't feel tired at all to do something you like.

While for me, aside from working, I'm just laying around in bed with my laptop, watching dramas then browsing and like some comments, and write short reply or comment.

Totally agree. Same with me after tired working from early morning to evening during weekdays  and have some problems here and there sometimes. MLSHR & this forum kinda healing me ... I enjoy my time here , searching the net for MLSHR related stuff or watching MLSHR that I drifted into it deeply forgetting all the tiredness and problems that I have ;)

    • Given the kind of guy he was in history, I actually think he was just being super pragmatic; he married the two most powerful women in the royal house (half-sister and daughter of another king), so he is unlikely to face a strong contender to the throne later in life if they had married other nobles/princes? I know Goryeo had nothing against killing those of royal blood, unlike other traditions, but it's still easier for him than executing even more people as he had to with the powerful clans.

Yep, this is why I think both his marriages were just political in nature, although making the princess a child bride in this drama is an interesting narrative choice imo. What do y'all think about all of this? /waves

Been lurking around as I can't stand not having an episode to watch, i agree with your thoughts on this one, as he might have married for the shows, and could have kept Soo along the side? I watched the chinese version so many times I lost count, but the king kept her by his side, never gave her a 'title' so she never went down in history... but he still made sure she knew when she went back to the future through a drawing.

Maybe this version would keep the fact that So never made Soo anything official? and just loved her till the end of time? OR

In chinese dramas, there is this thing where a lower concubine has a kid and the kid is given to someone else to raise, and the kid is kinda theirs, can it be that those kids were Soo's? but given to the official Queen instead? Not sure if it happens in Kdrama but def seen it many times in Cdramas.

Having loved BBJX chinese version before it came out (long preview was released and I was hooked), till it came out, till today, I love this version too! It is different, yet it retains some of the best quotes and best scenes! No wonder it is breaking records in China :)

Wow if Lee Chae Mi play the CP's daughter it would be awesome to see the reunion of Joongi and her :). For anyone who hasn't watched TWO WEEKS yet , I HIGHLY RECOMMEND  it . I've just finished it a couple days ago while waiting for moon lover. At first it thought i wouldn't like it because i 'm not really into the action criminal stuff but no this drama is also intertwined with the beautiful story of father and daughter :) really touching . It puts you on the edge of your seats all the times and i just have to watch the whole 16 ep in 3 nights :)))

Anyway, i don't know if this is a naive question but is it nescessary for a prince to be married before he becomes king? is there any single king out there :P ? We already know that Wangso will have to marry YH to have her clan's support but what if he can get enough support form the Kang clan of Shinju? The moment he marries YH he will get the throne but his relationship with Soo is possbily  put in jeopardy .I guess that we see him as king for the last three eps and the parting of him and Soo .

Mm yes I think the adoption thing happens too! Kind of off topic but in the Joseon era, the one I can remember is Queen Inhyeon being deposed by Sukjong on the pretext that she refused to adopt Jang Hee-bin's son, even though he needed to be the son of a queen to be crown prince.

Personally, I feel like given what we know of Soo as of now, being an unofficial lover is already pushing the limits of her modern sensibilities; I don't think she will be down with being a concubine haha also Yeon Hwa would make her life hell if Soo ever challenged her authority in the inner court so...

that's why we can see how much HS love WS in here.. she sacrifice herself in loving him... to be his lover without a title and added to that HS is like a mistress in modern era cause WS is another person husband.. that's against everything that she believe and to live with that day by day will torn her apart.. no matter how much WS give her love or everything its not going to be enough cause she hurting herself by loving him..

in a way i don't think HS have a say in inner court but she sure have a say in what WS decide in inner court cause HS is someone that WS trust the most.. so HS will challenge YH no matter what..

So if you're mad, get mad
Don't hold it all inside
Come on and talk to me now
Hey, what you got to hide?
I get angry too
Well I'm a lot like you
When you're standing at the crossroads
And don't know which path to choose
Let me come along
'cause even if you're wrong

I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I'll never desert you
I'll stand by you

@MadraRua You know, the lyrics...at least to me, seem to be a perfect fit for how Soo feels about So...even without the realization of love yet. It matches up to the things she's said to him thus far -- "you may not be forgiven, but I understand". She may have rejected his affection for her up until now, but similar to him, she's actually NEVER deserted him.

Agreed! Although about the inner court thing, I'm not sure to what extent is this true in the Goryeo era, but a big plot point in kdramas and cdramas is that the king is ironically powerless there while the queen/highest ranking concubine is the Big Bad. So actually if HS isn't an official concubine, she's relatively safer since WS can protect her from YH better than if she were subject to the queen's jurisdiction (rip her in that case). And since HS won't be attending the queen in the inner court, there's also a smaller chance she'll clash with YH directly over anything. Everyone can live longer this way lolololol
