This episode gives room to SJ and MY to truly know each other in the extreme condition of their jobs and eventually to understand each other a lot deeper. It's a good bridging to a more romantic relationship. me think. 

I love DOTS more for not rushing things but slowly show us the progress of their romance thru many things happening in their life and people they meet along the way.

Just because there is little romance in this episode doesn't mean it's disappointing at all.

DOTS is not just about love between lovers, it is also about something bigger than that: love for mankind (as SK said today in the press conference). When faced with dangers and difficulties, people's characteristics are clearly shown: either they shine or crumble.

In this episode, apart from the annoying manager (who deserves to die anyway), everyone focuses on saving injured people. They all shine in their own way. The scene where the old manager asks to save his younger co-worker and then passes away, it's so touching. Such scene makes DOTS more than just a shallow melo. MY's flashback scene, I get teary seeing the old manager's bright and kind smile too.

MY has to make a very difficult decision but she does it anyway. The tears she shed, it's so sad. We can see how the pure doctor in her is awaken. And SJ is there to witness all. He sees with his eyes how she is busy saving people all day, how hard it is for her to choose who to save or let die. He sees how her heart breaks for others' plight. In fact, he saw how pure and kind-hearted she is right when they first met. No surprising why he is deeply in love with her.

There is not a lot of OTP interaction, yes. But the fewer it is, the more precious we feel. SJ still keep checks on MY. And he basically confesses how he feels about her again by the end, in the middle of chaos. It is sweeter than a confession in a normal situation The two of they just grow closer and understand each other's work more than ever.

From the text MY didn't send to her friend, she was afraid SJ would think badly about her now; he must be so hurt that he left without saying a word. Now she knows he can't even stop himself from thinking about her, no matter how much he tries. No wonder why she is so shocked and touched.

Thank you so much all recappers. I can't wait to watch the subbed one tomorrow. Ep 7 is very intense and somewhat heartbreaking on some point but at least because of you all I'm prepared. The last scene tho.. I hope KMY won't refuse our Captain again this time

Oh well, i know maybe it was just only me being bias for JK or something but MY already received too much love from SJ ,from first ep up to the latest, and now i'm dying for MY's return for this "LOVE". Oh please don't make me dissappointed! I'm already at the point of my delusional state that i'm imagining a timeskip and it was MY who will fight for her love to SJ!! ♡♡

I'm really happy becos it's the first time I can watch this drama online without lagging... But unfortunately this episode is the sadness episode from all. 

I acknowledge how beautiful this drama has been made, it really portrays the emotions of people on a big disaster like earthquake... how we as human share love to each other without thinking about what country are they come from or even there's a barriers in communication. All that left is there's a person that need help and we will do anything to help other that needed. It really shows from all casts / actors in this drama, which they speaks out from their expression. I said this because I can't understand what they are talking, but what they all show is really amazing... This drama is DAEBAK

Even though I don't watch many K-drama, but I would say that this drama is the best in cinematography, the story is really touching, the characters also growth within the story. Wish more people can see the beautiful part of this episode, even though there's no romance or sexual tension but still there a touching moment about what LOVE really are.

We get to see the medical and rescue team in action. Poor MY having to choose which to save, that is not an easy thing to do, so it's more than normal for her to cry, abnormal if she didn't. And SJ, his leadership is just wow. I'm finding how he called that lunatic manager "bastard" sexy, hehe.

I sometimes hate my brain: watching the preview, the scene where Shi-jin and Mo-yeon are on some sort of 'date' with the army jeep....I couldn't help but to think, what if that's not real, but a figment of Shi-jin's imagination while he's unconscious??

Whether rating goes up or down, I really enjoyed watching this episode raw. Even my son was captivated. I love how the story is so humane and life is made so precious in disaster. Little romance but lots of feeling moments. The struggles are all very real and the doctors are not just going through the motions to save lives. I hope nobody faults MY for crying yet again. Crying isn't always a sign of weakness. In this case, it just shows how tender hearted she is. Love SHK for the portrayal!

I am catching up on the posts and thank you for all the information about the presscon that I missed.  The English translations made me laugh though.  They are a hoot.  Below is the more accurate translation:

DotS's SHK "Pre-production is easier on the body but harder to capture and maintain the emotions"

[blah blah press conference] SHK confessed that with pre-productions, there are times when it is harder to grasp the emotions of the character.  

After 100% pre-production of DotS, it is receiving great love from the audience after each broadcast.  SHK confessed "there are times when it is much harder to capture the feelings in pre-production rather than simultaneous filming" and "it was easier physically but I regretted the times when I felt I lost the character."

What a beautiful episode! It doesn't only touches your heart but also your soul. The show deserves a standing ovation.  

I agree with those people saying that the last scene between OTP was far more sweeter than the kissing scene. Now I can really say that YSJ is not just infatuated with KMY, the soldier is really inlove with the doctor. My oh my, this is what they call true love.
