I know that, but this still they posted with the chinese subs isn't from today's episode, but from ep 8. Chinese stills were also posted earlier today of ep7, hours before the broadcast.. it's a bit annoying how stuff apparently keeps leaking in China

Whew! this episode tugged at my heartstrings my top favourite scenes are when MY looks back and remembers the plantation before the earthquake & cries for them in silence and when she has to choose who gets saved . This episode is going to  be one of my top episodes so far it made me  appreciate  the soldiers  and doctors who aid  in places where the is famine, wars ,natural disaster

It is possible to translate as missing you, but I like the literal meaning of wanting to see her.  For me, it indicates so much more than just missing someone.  It shows longing to be with someone, to be next to them, to smell and talk and be.  Thus, I kept it.

I loved that at first he said in past tense I wanted to see you, and then changed to subjunctive present (?) where it shows he still desperately longs for her, not just in the past.

I just finished the Raw for Eps.7

My 1st Impression would be, I don't know how to survive with only 16 Eps?

My 2nd Impression would be this Eps is so strong, it touch love both for YSJ-KMY and SDY-YMJ, but most importantly it is about humanity, about people who saved others and sacrifice a lot in their lives and this is happening now as we speak, not only in the drama, somewhere out there it's happening. I'm so amazed that this isn't just drama about couple who falls in love in the middle of chaos but also about the doctors, soldiers, and how we help each other during crisis~ For me this Eps is too short somehow.

 

I'm so sad to see SDY-YMJ, they both speaks a lot though their eyes, and their love is so deep. We can see it in this Eps.

I feel bad for YSJ, I do hope KMY will realize how much she loves him too and it just break my heart. SJK really just breaking too many hearts~

I don't know MY's reaction to SJ's confession but pls, do not call her stubborn and stupid.

Look at the emotional roller-coaster she just has been through. How she has to choose which one to save, how much guilt and sadness she must have been feeling. How physically tired she is after a rough day. How she hates danger but has to face it and see how SJ has to deal with danger and make difficult choice frequently.

SJ only asks her to think about his sincere feeling, he doesn't ask her to be his girlfriend right now.

I don't think she will flatly turn him down again, she may ask for more time or find a proper reason to explain with SJ. She is not stupid for sure.  SJ never really gave her enough time to think through about her feeling before. The short time apart from SJ is enough to make her realize how she feels about him. Plus I bet she is touched so much when knowing SJ can't stop thinking about her no matter how hard he tries.

In the middle of chaos and loss, I don't expect MY to jump into SJ's embrace of similar things like this. Instead, I expect a reasonable answer.

Poor SJ. He just loves MY too much to be able to stay away from her. If not for the earthquake, he will still try to pursue her later, I guess. His confession this time is so sad; he doesn't seem to be confident that she will open her heart for him but he still has to let her know how he feels anyway. It is just how he is; honest and straightforward with his feeling.

Before episode 3 was shown, I answered a fellow poster's question if SJ was already in love in MY before meeting her again in Uruk, My answer was that he loved her; it's not just affection. Back then, he already saw what he needed to know about MY in just a few times they met: she is beautiful, strong-willed, bold, kind-hearted, pure and dedicated to her profession. What he witness when she comes to Uruk just reinforced his view about her and how he feels towards her.

I am not surprised when SJK and his character are so popular right now. SJ is very well-written; he is given best lines that tug female's hearts. MY, on the other hand, is a character that has to show a balance between falling in a love and being realistic. So it seems like SJ is the giver and MY is the receiver. Her character can easily be misunderstood but in fact she grows more as the drama progresses.

2. Descendants has excellent credentials

There is not just star writer Kim Eun Sook (The Inheritors, 2013; Secret Garden, 2010; Lovers In Paris, 2004) but also leading lady Song Hye Kyo, an early star of the Korean Wave.

 

3. Song Joong Ki

Every few years, the right K-drama star in the right role comes along whom millions can go gaga over collectively. In 2009, it was Lee Min Ho in Boys Over Flowers. In 2013, it was Kim Soo Hyun in My Love From The Star.

This year, right now, belongs to Song, who is giving a star-making performance in Descendants as a soldier conducting an up-and-down courtship of a surgeon - a performance that is possibly up there with the one that aeons ago made a star of some kid in Top Gun called Tom Cruise.

We as the viewers could see how much Big Boss loves his Beauty, how much he misses her when they were separated, how thoughtful he is to her, how many sacrifices he made for her, how much he like her before he loves her (I could say at this point he loves her lol)...if only she could see these about him....*sigh, after all you still owe him for saving your life Beauty , if you don't repay him soon by confessing or showing some affections towards him soon, you may have to repay him by kissing him later LOL .
