No, it never happened!. She didn't cover his eyes in reality.

That's basically it, she is revisiting herself through her flashback. It's quite poetic actually!. You have to take the scene in totality from the time that he covers her eyes while shooting Argus. That's when he tells her to forget or wipe out this memory , so when she's sitting and contemplating their relationship - she revisits the time when he's crying while burning the photograph, she sneaks her way and hides behind the stone wall - but she hears him sobbing, so which is why she goes into that memory to wipe out his memory. 

Since the memory remains only if both or one of them remembers the incident, she tells her memory of him crying to forget that this incident ever happened.

Am I being able to convey to you just how beautiful this scene was?. I'm sorry if I'm not doing a good job....aghh....but it's really really beautiful.

@minoz_joyax well it's not just an imagination really, it's so much more. She's sort of following his orders. Killing Argus or witnessing his death is something that they both witnessed together. So what MY means is for the memory to be really completely forgotten it's not enough that she forgets it, it's equally important that SJ forgets it. Which is why she re-visists her memory of him crying while she leaned on that stone wall hearing his heart-wrenching sobbing - which is when she covers her hand over his eyes to make him forget.

After all, it's their shared memory - One cannot forget while the other remembers. This might just be the most beautiful scene ever written.

Haven't seen ep12 yet just read few pages back and saw some YT clips. Seems that my wish had come true. our OTP finally hugged yeahhhhhh

I guess they brought back the cute after yesterday's intense ep. The writes balances it very well every week we get one cute and one serious ep. Never had been a week were both ep are heartwrenching or both are cute and fluffy. Kudos to the writer for maintaining this pattern

So now that Argus had been killed and our OTP also didnt go down the noble idiot route what will we see for the next 4 eps????

i really love today episode....I can let it slide bout the kiss scene...coz am so content with the hugging and the jealousy and the straight forward confession scene and I really love K.will song at the end....

Watching ep12 with sub... It's just beautiful! My wish has come true, scenes of Snoopy, Piccolo and Harry Potter being at full forces! Since everyone wants Big Boss and/or Wolf, I guess I can take one of them then, less rivals. Just I'm not pretty nor well-paid. LOL. 

 

When Sg.Choi/Snoopy dealed with the bomb vest, what Big Boss told Mo Yeon was sth like this: "You remember when I joked about you stepping on a landmine? You told me to bring someone good at it. In my 15 years in the military, I haven't seen one bomb Snoopy can't defuse. He's the best of our forces. Believe him." >> KES and her bringing things to full circle. Smart writing!

 

And Mo Yeon: "Still there's only 30 secs left. So you two should step away/keep some distance from me now..." >> She's daebak! Still worrying for other people. She could have been a soldier indeed.

What Gen. Yoon told the politician guy (he's International Affairs) is awesome too, comprehends everything Si Jin has said about being a soldier: "Hey Mr. Politician. Perhaps to you national security means discussing things in a room or appearing in front of cameras. But to my soldiers, it's the country they devote their youth to, it's the duties and commands they put their lives behind for. Going down on the line of duty or being detained as a hostage, they will even leave their names behind. They follow the country's call to fight in wars, because they believe that protecting the citizens IS protecting the nation. That's why, all the calls and responsibilities are on me. And you, just put on a nice tie, then go discuss with your reporters about your pretty politics!"

Then the guy threatens him that "taking responsibilities" could be his uniform, his general stars being taken away. Gen.Yoon's reply: "For honour, we could give everything."

 

Damn, Daddy Yoon!! I was worried, many people were concerned too, about the dilemma of a soldier, between being honorable and doing the right things, with following commands and playing politics/diplomacy. The writers solved that so beautifully! And quickly! With Gen.Yoon being a good General. Faith in the army, restored. Lol.

 

Btw, I just realized, in ep 11 when Gen.Yoon gave Si Jin 3 hours, not even being a soldier of SK, it wasn't "abandoning" him. It meant a black ops. - a unofficial, unnamed, unexisted operation. And of course Big Boss got that right away. Just us mere civilians didn't

This is when she has different outfit - the pink sweater, instead of the green army shirt. 

This makes me think the part of her covering his eyes is only in her imagination.

Just finish watching ep 11 and 12. yap i agree with you, this scene is so beautiful . I love how this drama manage to balance all the sad and intense scene with funny one too . Kudo to the scriptwriter and director!

P/s: Oh yeah but if the director fail to show us a better angle of the kissing scene, I gonna take back some of director-nim kudo

I know that, I meant it is much more than just her imagination. Once the subs are up maybe it'll easier to understand, it's like she used her imagination to revisit that memory to wipe out his memory. Gahh...I'm confusing you more. Once you watch you'll get it  .. lol

OMG Doctor Song is hilarious!!!! I can believe that he would just simply join in the running just to give Nurse Ja-ae a look at his body and to prevent her from looking at the other guys.

 

 

 

I agree with the opinion of Doctor Kang that Doctor Song is awesome for doing that. I guess Doctor Song knew what he wanted and that is Nurse Ja-Ae. Of course the next episode 13 and 14 will be next week. We are drawing closer to the ending, but I feel that the director is great! He can squeeze a whole story plot into one episode.

 

 

 

However, I wonder what that stupid Director is going to do to our Doctor Kang. (Sighs) After all the crew is back in Korea but since she got a boyfriend that also return to Korea. It makes me scratches my head...but I am glad Doctor Kang will be giving Shi-Jin a chance and trying to figure out how to handle him.
