Chayote is popular here among the chap fan stalls...My family usually cook in soups...

Another favourite dish of mine...Otak-otak (literally means Brains...Lol) Another Peranakan or Nyonya dish... A dish that is available across our Southeast Asian countries...

Guess what? From Iron Chef Brazil, in one of the episodes, it was mentioned that Leaf Cutter Ants taste like Lemongrass!!! I want to try too!

this drama would have been better as 10 episodes.

@Wuzetian Zatar with olive oil taste so nice as bread or nan dip. It's sold here by kilo, and there are different types too. I sometimes mix it with the eggs for omelette.

It can sometimes be found in exotic or foreign food section of the bigger supermarkets. Sometimes I use it as salt substitute, or something to add flavour when I cook. 

 

I also like chayote.

I've had ant larvae, it's a little sour, and smells really good. 

 

It's so sad that MH370 crew and passengers' families and friends still do not have closure until now.

i cooked this afternoon for lunch , added some "tang hoon" ( clear type of vermicelli.)

 

Opps !.. forgot that you can't take seafood & spicy as well.

the writer got greedy wanting all sorts of genre for the drama to be classified with.. like social problems (education system, immersed stressful students),  dark suspense from mother murder and metal balls, corruption and scandal, jealousy, bff trying to find love on her bro, birth mom came back as scammer, more scandals, proposal, continual knowledge progression..

Everyone, I have a question: a new friend just asked me if I knew what the name of this kdrama was:

 

The first episode starts out with a female bank robber; she and a group of people rob an important bank in Seoul. At some point she and the ML get trapped in a vault, where they learn to survive by burning money for fire and finding old food in a lockbox, etc. They also fall in love over the course of the drama. It's not the Korean remake of Money Heist...but what is it?

 

This new friend really wants to know the name of it so he can watch it again with English subtitles, instead of watching it on public TV in Seoul, all in Korean, while being a tourist in SK.

 

Does the synopsis ring a bell for anyone?

yeah true... at first the drama seemed refreshing, then i only finished so i wouldn't drop. and tbh Jung Kyung Ho is an acceptable eyecandy in this drama drought.... 

 

anticipating the glory s2 tonight!

 

my oppa's dramas are coming in second half of 2023. until then i am seriously starving for some drama. The currently airing ones don't really tickle my fancy.
