Our Add Subtract chingus, welcome to The Soompi +2 - 2 = 0 Awards!   Since we have known each other for a long time already, we EOs thought it would be nice to give out awards to all members! Yay! Now that Today's Webtoon ended last week, I've been looking forward to watch One Dollar Lawyer but heard that the press conference got cancelled after Namgoong Min tested positive For COVID-19. Hopefully they will be able to wrap up everything as planned! :sweatingbullets:

They just botched the ending. They could obviously make a season 2 but…

They killed off the FL and they turned the ML into a killer when he planned and killed the bad guy. Premeditated murder.

They also left a dozen questions in the air that never got resolved :rage:


Big Mouth was written by the same writers as Empress Ki and Vagabond - which also had bad endings. In my book that means:

Just to clarify ...

 

Vagabond wasn't a bad ending -"IF "- they had immediately announced the second season. 

 

Instead we got ...

 

- Lead Bad guy still alive and in complete control

 

- Second Bad Guy, NIS traitor still alive and helping Lead Bad Guy

 

- Plane Crash investigation called off (the core story of the drama)

 

- Scores of NIS agents killed

 

- A few bad guy minions killed, and 1 sorta important bad guy, and 2 corrupt politicians

 

- FL thinks ML is dead

 

- ML ends the drama blowing his own cover when he realizes he was sent to kill the FL, and shoots the 2nd assassin instead

 

 

HOW CAN THAT BE THE END AND THERE BE NO SEASON 2 ????

 

 

Oh well, at least I got 16 episodes of Lily, The Angel of Death :wub:

Who ended up being the bad guy? The mayor? The fancy rich guy? Looking back, I'm so glad I wasn't sucked into this mess. Why would they kill off the FL?!!

 

@agenth How are you liking Tell My Your Wish? The drama thread is so quiet. I just finished Ep 10...not the best drama (kinda boring, honestly), but JCW is doing a great job.

@kokodus Dylan indeed plays prickly pineapple characters well. :lol: He was the best thing about Meteor Garden, honestly. I still don't know how I got through all 49 episodes of that.

Good work! :lol: They are complete opposites but they love each other. Suga calls JHope his vitamin pill, and he seems very comfortable around JHope. @partyon can tell us what JHope loves about Suga, because I can't remember the exact details right now. Maybe his stability and creativity?

Ultimate bad guy was the mayor. Miho died from cancer - because she was exposed to radiation in one of the NR Forum factories.

Since the Big Mouse organization failed to take mayor down the legal way, Chang Ho has the mayor killed by having him swim in toxic water from the factory.

 

So in the end FL dies and ML turns into a murderer.
