Over my side here, the stock markets dip down and oil price rises. 

 

With the pandemic still on going and then out of sudden  Russia attack Ukraine.... sad & speechless.

 

I saw the video clips of the bombing....is terrible.

 

What is going on with the world,no peace at all.

just read news that some countries have imposed limited sanctions on R  esp on the financial sectors,

 

and this is a big impact on the economy.

it's not like they have a choice to vote, but are being dragged into the first impact of war damage

 

i saw the article from ukraine president.. quite heartbreaking to fight the battle alone but most of our countries can only offer military aids but not able to fight alongside with them

Honestly who know want he want. I mean they been at war with Ukraine since 2014.  
 

ukraine used to belong to Russia like many other countries like Finland. So maybe he meant that he want to re claim the mighty Russia.

In fact, I don't really follow world news but when I read that  a War was going on, (so sickening to watch those videos bombing here & there) , it really scares the hell out of me.

Yeah Ukraine belonged to Russia and USSR. They got their independence in 1991. When Russia was born. 
Finland didn’t belong to USSR. They belong to Russian Empire. USSR was born in 1922 and Finland got they independence in 1917. 
 

After dissolution of the USSR we got 15 new countries:
