not make up but every time I see supposedly ugly/nerdy/boring characters in glasses, I roll my eyes. why, why, why? about 50% of the population or more in any country wear glasses. do people even realize how expensive some of those frames are, especially the branded ones???? mostly, the weird styling has to do with choosing a pair of glasses not suited to the face shape or personality. why not do PPL with some brand and pick a nice frame that suits the actor/actress face? no, they just want to play up some stereotypes. UGH.

yup, that was me! I didn't even check it out because I thought the styling was dumb look and wasn't interested.
red cheeks hardly makes people unattractive. have seen plenty who are seen as highly attractive. also, curly fritzy hair also does not make people unattractive. have seen plenty who carry their curls with lots of confident attitude and oomph.
so the drama's styling and underlying message annoyed me.

serin told taeyang that he is no longer her north star and she is going to do all the things she missed out while following him around. she is also going to find someone better than him. that was her promise to him and herself.

yea, that makes sense; the switch back needs to happen. for that serin has to be alive. it would be strange if GW's soul continued to live in serin's body for the rest of her life.

I think that's what Honorary Chairman is trying to do. But she's so warped. You mentioned the original actress played OSR as a murderous psychopath. There's also the order she gave for NYJ to be killed so he couldn't donate his liver. I don't know... like I said, OSR is a basket case of volatile emotions. I don't think she'd actually kill anyone, I think she just "wishes them dead" as we say. When the curly headed fellow mentioned she ordered him to kill NYJ, she rolled her eyes. That's not what, say, HYMAJAR would do. That's what someone does to say, "seriously? you took me seriously?". Trying to strangle JGU, well, she did think the Jungs killed her sister, JGU was responsible for TY maybe being at death's door and we needed a catalyst for the soul switch. My point is, OSR has never actually killed anyone, just threatened to do so. How many people has HYMAJAR actually killed? Two? Three? With two more attempted murders? To paraphrase my very wise momma... sticks and stones may break my bones but threats will never harm me... Can't wait...
hahahaha.. you described it perfectly; am not sure why but every other daily has the brother character hook up with a dimwit of a sister-in-law and the poor guy looks like his world just got zapped out of energy. even here, lawyer brother looks so bored when he has to interact with dimwit. he does not have much to say. whereas every interaction with serin, he comes alive. she has kept him on his toes and his brain is working overtime. so he needs some spice and she needs some head whacks from him. I laughed when she threw that chili or whatever in his face and they played run and catch. it is fun to watch them. lets hope she survived and is hiding somewhere and we get to see this relationship sail.

agree with you but it is squarely because of the current actress playing serin. the original serin actress played serin as a murderous psychopath. the current actress playing serin is having lots of fun not being a doormat and she plays serin with an odd kind of enduring petulance. now can understand why her family don't necessarily see her as a threat and are instead giving her braised ribs when she comes home.
I had to laugh at the various reactions when serin decides she wants to get revenge against aera:
GW: patience, understanding. maybe GW is attached to serin because they have switched bodies or maybe she gets the need for revenge
taeyang: worry. when does the guy not worry? hahahahha
lawyer brother does an eyeroll and look up to the heavens.
seriously, the interactions between lawyer brother and serin continue to keep me amused and tune in. everyone else is a bit of a borefest in this drama including aera. want to see how these two interact when serin and GW switch bodies.

serin and lawyer brother seriously crack me up.
their fights have such a school yard element to it and is really amusing how serin snarls while he gnarls back in return. she was so cheesed when she said, "why are you fighting with me when you know you can't win" and lawyer brother is there rolling his eyes and looking at the sky.
had to laugh that out of all the desperate messages that everyone sent, the only one she gives a hmmmph is when she reads the message from lawyer brother who does not plead and instead just asks her to give up.
agree with you @Chickpea, GW & co are too stupid to come up with a real revenge plan. so it is up to serin to really save the day. now that she is going to be working with GW and team, expect she will get in lots of trouble and poor lawyer brother has to be one trying to make her stick to some logical plan... which she will just ignore.

kekeke..... serin gets lucky. I was cracking up that yujin was stupid enough to eat restaurant food and got himself an infection because he was so sick of hospital food. there is no way, serin could have predicated that.

am more like the confused one. I have seen few local actors here and my reaction every time is a puzzled, "wow, they look so much shorter in real life. what happened???"
sometimes I don't even recognize them immediately and it takes me a few minutes to figure out why they feel so familiar and then I am like, "woah, short!!!"
after that I am back to being busy with my own stuff and try not to look at them.

I find it amusing that everyone treats serin like some really annoying but harmless brat. even lawyer brother acts like he is principal glaring at a wayward student rather than a woman who has serious murderous/revenge impulses.
but her fights with lawyer brother are too entertaining that I am glad that she is refusing to move out. it is going to be amusing to watch them squabble.
am curious about what kind of ending the writer has for her. will she get reformed because of staying in GW's house and refusing to move out? have lost track of the number of times she has attempted to off someone in this family. at least she is now getting threats of police.
in some ways, her frustration is at least understandable. she is stuck in a body not of her choosing, the original character was a total doormat and so she has to pretend to be one as well, is stuck living with a family she believes is directly responsible for her sister's death and to top it off, the guy who she was in love with now is madly in love with GW even though he showed zero interest in serin in her original body. must be confusing.

some people dislike the eucalyptus and medicinal herbs smell. so I wanted to let you know ahead. but if you are used to it, then it is actually quite mild smell. nothing too offensive.

yea, it is plain oil. so no gel form. you have to put it in your pain area and massage a bit. and leave it overnight and then wash off with hot towel. you can use that as lubricant before you put in crepe bandage or any cap for your feet. you can also use it during the day but it has a strong eucalyptus smell, similar to tiger balm.
hope it helps. some of my relatives found it very effective in relieving joint pain. takes a few days but you will see it reducing less and less was their feedback. also, because it is external use, the medicine will not have any mix with any of your other western medicine such as for BP and diabetes. so oil is safe and good to use.

that sounds painful; have you tried traditional medicine instead of western medicine? for my mother's arthritis, the docs prescribe traditional medicine that is available in pharmacy in addition to her regular meds for stuff like BP. here, there is a thinking that when it comes to joint pains, traditional meds are far superior.
the ones my mom uses are ayurvedha/sidha based. depending on how bad it is, she will use one or the other.
Spoilerso you apply the oil overnight over the area of pain and then next morning, use a hot washcloth to wipe. (in your case, you could try putting these oil drops in a small tub of hot water along with some rock salt and soaking your feet.)
these type of oils does have a strong smell (eucalyptus based, similar to tiger balm) and is thick (contains castor oil along with other herbs). these oils are muscle relaxants and are also available in tablet form if you prefer those. because they are natural medicine, you can take them with your other western medicine like for BP but just leave a half hour gap.
just based on my relatives, you could also check if you have deficiency for sodium or potassium -- those two can result in cramping and nerve tingles as well. there are also other mineral deficiencies with similar effect.
