I am highly suspicious of that since I found out they sell a product in the US called "chai tea latte"
-- I was so puzzled when I first read of the product. chai literally is the hindi word for tea. so it is tea tea latte? masala tea? ginger tea? cardamom tea? cinnamon tea? who knows. I still don't know the answer.
I wonder if they sell that in India. probably get laughs. do you know @kokodus?
we have local brands now that even deliver tea to your house. it works out well for folks who are feeling too lazy to make a cuppa.

yea it is; the smaller joints are really busy. they just have standing room where people are constantly buying coffee and tea. they drink and they leave.
basically the pricier versions are those where you are essentially paying to sit and relax. so fancier settings where you can meet people on a date or business meeting etc. so that is what you are actually paying for. the sofa. not the coffee itself.

depends on what type of shop you go to.
you can literally get a small cuppa for 0.11 euros / 0.12 USD at one of these roadside stalls/vendors/small shops. if you go to a eatery joint, maybe 0.55 euros. a fancy coffee shop, maybe around 1 euro and more. a posh hotel/restaurant, maybe around 1.50 euros to 2.70 euros. if you go starbucks, it is 2.70 euros and up.
there is basically coffee and tea available for every budget and preference. but if you want real taste, go for the cheaper guys because it will be more authentic. you only get one flavour though and only option is sugar or no sugar. still taste is premium when it comes to filter coffee or a good cup of tea. you can get some nice butter biscuit to go along with it.
the pricier joints is not only waste of money but seriously blah taste. no satisfaction of drinking a hot cup. there were plenty of times where we left the pricier joints and then found some roadside place to feel refreshed.

thanks; I also got it from outside food and all I had was flat bread (chappati)! I was trying to figure out what made me sick but my doctor said if I started feeling sick within 1 hour of eating, that was the bad food.
I suspect now that we got old batch when we ordered. no one ate it on the first day. normally nothing happens to bread/chappati/naan/khubs as long you put it in fridge. but I turned out to be victim when I ate it next day. thankfully I was the only one in my family who ate it.
but yea, just having meds and resting. feeling more better but not much appetite or strength to do anything.
I hope I can go back to enjoying food soon!

Ironically SBS had some of the best dailies out of all the networks.
phoenix 2020 was really awful and I remember there was a lot of drama offscreen. that is why I wondered if something happened here. so far, the writing and directing is not scattered. none of the characters are jumping all over the place like it happened in that drama.
so I think serin is still alive and will show up as a last minute twist. it does not make sense that GW will continue to live in serin's body for the rest of her life and use serin as her identity.
the drama's theme is about reset and things getting back to how it should be. so with that theme, it would only be appropriate if serin and GW switched back in the end and that can only happen if serin is still alive.

the promos and poster had all 3 women shown prominently indicating all 3 have equal importance to the plot. if serin was a character that just disappeared so suddenly, why would they promote the drama that way? so yea, either serin comes back alive or something happened behind the scenes for her to be written out.

and the original criminal JAR is not really evil because of a mistaken identity.
one thing I appreciate about the writer is that all these twists seem to have been planned from the onset. for example, I do remember the scene when GW's father came to YJ's father in the office. so all those scenes were filmed then and are not being added to the drama now. so the writer isn't randomly writing these twists in.
that said, we spent way too much time with aera and GW. so it would have been nice to have the other villains pop up much earlier. I am bored with GW. I want serin back. for that time, those episodes were fun.

yea, when I was thinking about these bad pairings, what I could vaguely remember was that there was no murder. at least the writer here seems to think that murder is too much of a jump for lovers to get through. uncle and burger lady actually liked each other and it wasn't because they ran out of options like some of the silly fellas in other dramas. but even burger lady said that she will not date uncle because of the bad blood between the two families when serin thought GW's dad had murdered the sister. even when uncle believed it was another culprit, burger lady kept firm because of serin's bad antics. thats why I feel the lawyer brother and dimwit may not end up together only because of the writing style. the writer at least seems to have a sense of boundaries and characters who actually say these past misgivings are not something we can ignore. lets see.

feel like these two will break up because dimwit's father killed GW's father. wasn't it serin's uncle that said even romeo and juliet cannot overcome murder? besides, lawyer brother has a sneaky look on his face whenever he interacts with dimwit. so it doesn't look like he is even teeny weeny bit interested in her. just wants to use her for potential info.

just catching up on last week's episodes. at some point, serin will pop up again. as you said, we haven't had the mandatory putting flowers on her grave scene to confirm death or anything on those lines. also, I have been wondering why they would cast a known actor to play yujin's dad when he barely had any scenes. in previous dramas, he was a strong character. now, we are seeing him reveal his true colours. similarly, the actress playing serin is also known. it wouldn't make sense to give her essentially a cameo. so the writer has more twists up her sleeve.

the reason is glasses #1 is wrong for her face size. facepalm. they purposely buy frames that cover half her face and her eyes are not even centered in the frame.
so the trick to buying glasses that fit you is that when you smile, your cheeks should go up comfortably without pushing the glasses up. if they push up the glasses, that means the frames are too big for your face and you need to look for something smaller. when you go to a shop, they are aware of sizing and will only show glasses accordingly. for example, they would never show a child frames meant for adult face.

I didn't know ken had abs either. but yea, I never played with a barbie doll either. when I was growing up, they had just introduced it in the market but it was super expensive. so my parents declined to buy me one. the appeal for me was actually the clothes that came with the doll. so my grandmother offered to stitch me clothes for a cheap baby doll that my parents got me. she got some throw material from the tailor and made some nice outfits. that was fun. but I didn't play with the doll too long because my brother broke the doll while he was copying some kungfu moves from the jackie chan movies he watched. that was the end of my doll journey.

hahahah... this drama had 2 women ending up going through a soul switch (alchemy of souls). for a portion of the drama, serin was in a coma while her alter ego GU in serin's body wandered around. then serin woke up in GU's body and was mad, mad, mad. but now it looks like serin may or may not be dead and so we are left to wonder if there will be soul switch in the end or not.
so we have multiple revenge arcs, multiple people pretending to be someone else for whatever reason. hence, the title "woman in veil"
