am curious to see if GW v2 will be more like herself (serin's soul) or have a bit of GW. right, now serin v2 (with GW's soul) has quite a snark and bite and enjoys toying with aera. that feels more like she got possessed a bit by GW.
surprisingly, the soul swap is actually kind of entertaining and I can see why the ratings (posted by @backstreetboysfan) seem good; even I am interested to know how it will all turn out!
the only question I have is why serin v2 took five years to come back. was she seriously studying in the US all this time? and who is this lady she keeps chatting on the phone with?

more than aera, it is serin who gives me the creeps as villian. she is 100% cuckoo and will end up having a higher attempted murder tally than aera. won't be surprised if she also kills someone as part of her revenge. she will be the one who tries to off GW and in the process, there will be some sort of swap

looks like the sister died but rather than feeling sorry, I just want to facepalm. first, it is super obvious that someone who has rebuilt their life with a new identity and direction is not going to come forward to give witness. why not go to the police or go to a lawyer? why would you threaten someone to give testimony? and not update anyone about what is happening after you were almost kidnapped? FACEPALM.
and serin is the brattiest sister -- she sounds like a teenager in tauntrums. tae yang didn't ask either of these stupid sisters to fix the situation. shouldn't he be involved considering it is his case? again, facepalm.

The rest of that apartment is stellar though!
the show is set in the architecture world and so some of the sets are really great looking in terms of decor. but yes, that painting was such an odd choice.
also I did notice they repeated two different characters having a similar painting which cracked me up. like you said, the set designers clearly bought in bulk and didn't think viewers would notice at all.

also, not everyone likes paintings with faces. I don't either. as one member put it -- what if the facial expressions change suddenly when I look at it at night?

@the_sweetroad ~ think you will find this amusing since you paid attention to the funny decor in the daily drama. this was something I posted on the local forum.
okay friends, how many of you would have this painting on the wall? is it me or does it look like it is out of a horror movie? would you hang that ghoul on your stairs?
the general consensus from our local forum was people would be petrified to have silly face on their stairs. such a strange design choice

on a local drama, have been writing essays (and I mean essays LOL) on some random side charcter dynamics as well as rants on minor details which cracks up that forum.

There are two parallel stories here, so if there is going to be a swap, make it soon.
GW and TY are meant for each other. In the last episode, he helped a bar girl from being abused by her employer/manager, the man was out cold but he did not make sure whether the man needed help. Wrong. The man died from another altercation and TY accepted it was his fault. Stupid.
noticed they never showed the face of the bar girl he helped. maybe it is related to aera somehow. accoding to synopsis, aera is nemesis of both gyol wool as well as serin. there has to be some sort of connection between the two sets of characters but so far nothing yet. but yes, tae yan seems way too nice.
still not clear why grandfather chose gyol wool as daughter-in-law.
aera cracked me up -- any other villain would be clingy and screaming murder. she very cooly got a new boyfriend and yoojin came running back to her.

actually the really competent one is aera with her smart brain. so if grandpa wanted to protect yoojin, then aera would have been the better choice rather than gyul wool. I think grandpa wanted someone nice who wouldn't fleece their family or the brainless grandson. otherwise, they would have gone for a more richer family or someone as craftily effective as aera.

he is her father; so according to a small scene, he went to vietnam, the wife was pregnant. by the time, he got back, she had died in childbirth and the baby had been sent to an orphanage. there was a fire which is how the FL got some brochodial condition. after he came back, he took the baby back and still feels guilt about the time she was in orphanage. he married another woman and stepmother treated FL as her own for which he is really grateful. he also loves the stepson and told him not to quit studying as he has saved up money and to use that. so it is a close knit family.

tae yan's mom was the housekeeper and she stayed on even after the death of serin's parents and helped raise them. so they all grew up as siblings (from tae yan's perspective)...
still not sure about the uncle -- is he serin's uncle or tae yan's?
