Sorry i cut your post chingu. This is true, but again look what happen to TKEM? She is capable, and KES + LMH collaboration could have been the biggest hit locally and internationally. Well, it is a hit internationally, but the expectation is soo high! People really pick it a part, one wrong move, it's all over social media. And KES should have work with Signal PD, who is experience on handling plot heavy/ time travel series. TKEM main PD was DOTS PD, yes it was a hit, but the story was simple. 

TKEM is a really good story but KES didn't fully develop or rather didn't give enough episodes to develop it. The story should have 20 or 24 episodes. This is why maybe LMH should move on from Start writer and go with Critically acclaimed writer. Plus KES is also polarizing, people either love or hate her, so maybe find somebody low key who is a good scriptwriter.

If we want a writer who guarantees ratings, we’re back with writer Park. She’s simple minded so all her stories will appeal to Koreans, easy to digest, shallow and mostly about love. 

 

If we want lmh in something dark, we can throw out expectations for really high ratings. Romantic comedies generally perform better than thrillers/melodramas. 

LMHxKES collab was predicted to get the 30% ratings. But it didn't. although TKEM is split between 3 streaming platform, so even if it's doing well, it would be hard to go above 17%. i don't think it would be easy to get that number nowadays. TWOM was on JTBC and nothing else (aside from illegal site), in SK you can only watch on JTBC and it was able to get that number. I don't wish another collab with writer park. He was with writer Park and freaking JJH. the star power in LOTBS was big! but even with the 20% ratings, people still compare with MLFS and then they also think 20% it's low for LMHxJJH drama. 

 

I'll take Dark LMH, with solid story and character development over ratings at this point.

Even if he occasionally posts now on IG, imagine years ago when he rarely posts. If I'm not mistaken, I saw somewhere that he only uploaded 4 photos during LOTBS era, compared to TKEM era when he uploaded over a dozen photos.

If not for the pandemic, I'm guessing if he'll go on a vacation outside of the country, we would be blessed with several IG uploads. Unfortunately, when he's in SK, he rarely posts if it's not work-related. I guess we would just have to trust him and wait. Waiting for Minoz is real.

Slow burn definitely fits their story. That would be awkward if she like him right away. Definitely didn't mean it in a negative way. And I'm enjoying seeing Oh Soo falling for her

 LOTBS I agree somehow(similarities in scenes were there agreed, the main storyline differed from YFAS Though), WHEREAS what happened with TKEM was media/domestic reception pressure, time constraint and also  KES megahits (DOTS, Mr Sunshine and Goblin) were written by another set of co-writers who Left during TKEM, Also the PD was changed!!! The KES IT TEAM Left, the machinery got disturbed and end result was convulated. How would MYM and LMH object on those??? They had no way to dechiper these scenarios either way.

LMH will anyway take the hit unfortunately, but Yes the chance of Him and the storyline getting proper justice is higher. HJJ and LG were EPIC, the scenes got recycled. A show cannot be sustained solely on an actor's performance or character, the Overall effect is affected.So TKEM criticizm lead to his criticizm whereas He and Rest CAST performed exceptionally well.

IKR!!! It even crossed 22-29% in REAL Time, yet the Real time ratings were never reflected in Ratings generated officially, whereas at that time real time rating and Published rating used to have maximum 2% difference!!!. LOTBS got badly compared with Goblin being on Cable tv and getting more or less equivalent rating, so bad!!!

 

I wish the Real Time Viewing and Published ratings were more closer, the talk of comparison would be less then.

I think the Low rating on Finale was due to WED-Thursday Hoopla, On Thursday the ratings were always high and Wednesday it was Low, the finale aired on a Wednesday.
