Hi everyone!  I’ve decided to finally “unlurk”  and make my first post ever on a forum bc I’ve really been enjoying and LOL-ing reading everyones theories comments and analysis!  I’m actually a Korean (American) who doesn’t watch a lot of kdramas even though everyone always asks me about them just bc I’m Korean when I heard about the casting of LMH X KGE I don’t even know why but I was already a little invested in the pairing bc it was kind of an odd pairing honestly, almost an underdog pairing bc it seemed a lot of ppl were against the pairing.   On the surface I really didn’t know how they would work as a kdrama couple but I was def curious and I had heard KGE is an amazing actress so I started watching the King.  Since then It has also totally taken over my life and I vow never to watch another kdrama that is airing live again.  I actually found the first 3 episodes pretty boring and I also thought they had NO chemistry - if it wasn’t for the fact that I was just oddly invested in the LMH X KGE pairing I would’ve just stopped watching  - but as I pushed through something interesting started happening I felt like their chemistry started growing - ep 4-6 simmering then ep 7-10 starting to boil then ep 11-12 like totally explosive.  I’ve honestly never “shipped” a couple before but scenes from episode 11-12 really blur the line from reel to real as you ladies have been saying.  I almost wonder if the drama is a mirror of their relationship - the beginning a little awkward bc they getting to know each other but as they start liking each other and dating thus their chemistry starts ramping up?  Just speculation on my part of course.  I read some of the comments on Naver tv and I saw some ppl mention that they feel like something “fishy” is going on betw LMH X KGE bc they can’t believe they were able to pull off that kiss scene without a “NG” and I have to say I agree.  That kiss scene is way too intense imo - I think that’s part of the reason it’s so popular bc it’s like we’re getting a glimpse of the real LMH X KGE dating.  So anyways I too want to join this ship bc I don’t even know why but I’m soo invested in them and totally hoping they are low key dating IRL.  So I hope you ladies will welcome me!

Wow thank you im so happy to hear this from a korean perspective because you would know the language and lingo being used perhaps abit more than us..i hope more koreans can give their input here too. 

 

I watch a video that a previous couple lee sang woo and kim so yeon had a No NG kiss scene too and the crew editing person also commented he didnt know how to edit it because it was abit longer than intended..

Exactly my thoughts! 

LMH is going to break his back just to carry his bride. His honeymoon will have to be put on hold as he ends up in the hospital.

I am always more drawn to how he cares about her safety, in this clip you’d see how he dropped her and also ensure she was standing properly before leaving her else she would have staggered.  And then she nicely patted his back. 
Seems like they work together seamlessly with less NGs because they bring out the best in each other.

Welcome . I am also rather new to this shipping thing (with 1 foot in bhahaha) but there is definitely something different in the air.

 

I've also vowed not to watch live shows after Mota, but look at where I am now. I think this is even worse cos I am not only following the main thread, but also this one.  But credits to all of the Court Ladies here, I am having more fun on this thread.
