@stroppyse I'm positive our HG is well brought up despite his nasty mum. Lee sr although seemed to be henpecked is a very reasonable and understanding dad. We can see that he and his Dad are BUDDIES.

By getting HG & HN together to express their real feelings for each other in front of both EA & himself, it was the BEST move by Lee Sr and I respect him for it.

I did mention earlier it was the 1st time I've seen such a meeting in a kdrama.

 And I'm also SURE Lee Sr would want HG to approach HN's parents officially for HN's hand in marriage. And of course our lovelorn HG would gladly agree!

I guess the wrap up party happened the same day as their last day of filming, since JJH is wearing the same clothes as his character's which was also shared by his stylist in one of her IG stories.

As @sava2sava mentioned, we set that thread on fire. It's my alltime favourite weekend because it DID NOT have any birth secrets. It dealt on Education(the lead guy was a high school dropout) & Favourtism (the mum very obviously favoured the daughter with a rich husband).

Of course MDISY is my 2nd favourite.

 

 

I mean recently. Weekend dramas don't usually reach 40% benchmark so it was a feat that kbs appreciated and celebrated.

@joke lanfoo@sava2sava I love Wang Family too! I always watched it despite my super busy schedule at that time. After this one, I will take a break (again) from dailies, it’s too tiring, the dragging, the naive stereotypes until to the level of not smart at all as a person, I need to rest my heart and brain to avoid turn into one LOL. I will stick to my weekend drama and few 16 episodes drama. Now we on the last 5 episodes, from the preview for today’s episode there are no revelation, no decisive outcome from JH. I foresee we will only see HG and HN’s wedding picture on the table on the last episode, SH and JE go crazy after all the stress and hysteria they had from episode 1 which will bring them to mental institute on the last episode. DG will nurse JE and wait for her, YR living with EA, HN will be “shared” by two mothers and suddenly have real grandma who love her, and short scenes of HG’s mother feel embarrass in front of JH (but still in her heart her hatred to HN exist). Anything I missed? No jail, no police involved, writer expecting us the viewer to feel sad for SH and JE for warded in mental institute (but it’s not working on me, no pity for these two regardless the type of punishment they received unless it’s a jail time, clearly SH is the criminal and JE is the accomplice).

Summary for ep. 117

 

- HG, HG's mom and SH come out of the police station. SH acts innocent till the moment HG and HG's mom leave and the angry customer comes out. SH and she leave and YR follows them and sees SH give the woman money. YR sends JH a photo of it.

- SH goes to the shoemaker's house and acts like she has nothing to do with it. HN is also there and asks if HG's mom is in big trouble. SH tells HN she should go home and she does. JH escorts her and SH is annoyed about it. SH leaves too.

- SH and JE have another (front door) conversation and JE is very happy about the plan preventing JH doing the show. 

- HG's mom returns home with HG and acts like a poor victim.  She cries and the husband consoles her in their bedroom while Hanna, Leo and HG talk about what happened. Seems like the woman demands compensation/is suing HG's mom. Hanna is very upset while HG ... not so much. 

- HN gets of the phone with HG and discussed the situation with YR, EA and SR.

- the next day SH brings a resignation letter from HG's mom. JH calls her in the office and says she won't accept it as it seems like it was a scam.

- HG's mom is happy but SH wants her to accept it. But JH mind cannot be changed.

- when they leave HG's mom tells SH that they are no longer friends. She calls her husband and tells him she was not fired. 

- the three dad talk about their wives - I think HG's dad is bragging about how great it is going for him now... EA comes in and tells HG's dad that fans are waiting for him?

- HN goes to a pharmacy and while she is getting water JE comes in and buys painkillers.

- HN asks her about it since pregnant women shoul not take these painkillers. JE tells her it is none of her business.

- Another JE/SH talk ... about selling the building.

- SH goes to a real estate agency and asks about it.

- SH comes home with lots of gifts. She talks with grandma and looks very smug.

- SH brings the gifts she bought to JH. She wants to talk to JH about the building she promised JE as a wedding gift. They talk and SH looks very satisfied but going by JH's face while SH isn't looking SH will not be happy for long.

- HN and JH talk at SJ Boutique. HN seems worried but JH reassures her.

- HG and HN actually have a scene together. They are drinking beer and talking when Leo and CEO Kim walk in and join them. HG is teasing and gets kicked under the table by HN 

-  SH is all happily looking for a buyer for the building. And when they are about to sign the real estate agent gets a call and stops it. 

- But SH has not given up yet. I think she believes JH has a better buyer?

- SH buys lots of gifts for her family and grandma is worried about her spending so much money. But she reassures her and her husband that she knows what she is doing.

- SH goes to the real estate agency again and a man is waiting there (I think it is the investigator). JH seems to have sold the building for very little money. SH is very upset.

- In comes HN and it seems like JH sold (or rather gifted) the building to HN. SH is furious.

- SH tells HN she wants to talk to her outside and screams at her. SH accuses her of things but HN will not give the building back. SH slaps HN and JH sees it.

Seems like they are publishing a book about JH and the family is celebrating it. And HG/HN will have a scene  And JE collapses and seems to confess something to DG.

 

@meoooooowwww Sadly, those pics we were hoping were from a wedding reception turn out to be for this publishing celebration.  So we might not get a wedding scene but just photos...

 

@howa I don't know. To me it seemed she just will not return a gift from JH. But we will have to wait on someone who actually understands what they are saying to be sure

JH gifted HN the building?

I'm super worried for HN now because I sense that SH will be doing something very drastic to HN as a LAST RESORT to get JH to change her mind.

 

From the spoiler photos posted recently, there was a photo of JH & EA at a park. Why would they meet at a park if they want to talk? Unless something fishy occurs.

 

That evil mum-daughter duo would do anything right now to harm HN knowing that JH knows about her. Probably SH out of desperation took action without consulting JE.

@dramaninja I've been wondering how SH is handling the stress. Her blood pressure would have soared to dangerous levels with all the shrieking she's been doing!  And yeah, JH is gonna be LIVID!

I've a feeling, JH lets HN use that building to be used as her Hanui Apparel's office as she's sharing DG's office.

So JH must have given that as an excuse not to allow SH to sell it.

 

I may be right because HG congratulated HN about having her own office and was about tell Kim and Leo when she kicked his legs.

@joke lanfoo   Yes I was under a different avitar, I been watching Kdrama for so long I have even forgot when I started I know it's been over 18yrs now.. I started watching from Tv novels that Kbs normally shows..

 

How dumb can SH be she goes baring gifts asking JH about that building..  I think JH let HN use it.. Thi probably the reson SH slaps her..
