So highlight of this episode is MIY now knows what it feels to be the direct victim of sexual assault.

i reallly don't know   HOW a kiss scene fits in the whole drama scenario,  I will wait. I expect we will get the same level of romance as in Tunnel. I get the focus in that drama was more on the Father, and in this drama it is female lead.

Even without the anticipation of a kiss scene, I love this drama.

:crazy:OMG that ending scene at ep.03 made me gasp and shudder in terror:wacko::blink:That dirtbag is such a creep! Firstly is it even legal to have the apartment superintendent to let strangers into one's premises when the resident isn't at home!??! I find Ideum's work suits to be too big on her lithe frame. It's like they're oversized LoL. God the male perpetrators in ep.03 are the reason why I have major trust issues:tongue: Shame on that father teaching his son to do such a despicable act as to record the upskirts of other women.

I just wanted to add, that I for one didn't see anything wrong with what Ideum did to win her case. Especially since it's a rape and even if the female professor goes free, I don't think that poor guy could sleep peacefully, let alone live well. Ideum was just doing her job - course it wasn't correct technically but like she said she's a prosecutor. She can't afford to invest emotionally into her clients as that would impede her responsibilities to her job. Jinwook may be coming from a psychologist's POV but his is too methodic and safe?

@blademan Me too! :cold_sweat: It was really moving because he is able to see her vulnerability and her pain. He already started perceiving glimpses of her suffering before (at the trial, with her fingers or with her speech) but here, when she is sleeping, she lets her guard down. But I also think that he was impressed by her brain and strategy how to deal with that pervert. The pervert had thought, she would react like the other victims.

I'm not expecting anything too!!!! But by the looks of it they are gonna be depending on each other A LOT!

He also has a few secrets of his own  and I don't think he knows about his mum's connection to that creep (as per next week's preview) so I can't wait to see what the future holds for our 2 fav prosecutors from the CRIMES AGAINST GIRLS UNIT :)

Currently watching the episode:

  • While drinking in front of the convience store, YD wears a green sweater with a german sentence on it. You never see it clearly, but I guess it says "Ich komm zum Glück aus Osnabrück" which translates into "I'm happy to come from Osnabruck". Osnabruck is a small german city. I don't know why, but looking at her state and she incident she was involved in, she doesn't seem happy at all.
  • So, due to a mere coinscidence JW was able to witness YD vulnerable side. She cries because of her mother and he was able to see her dream about it. If she finds out that he knows and saw it, he is pretty much dead. :D
  • But finally this moment showed a little more of her human, softer side. She may become even likeable.
  • I inititally thought JW would submit the evidence without YD knowledge to showcase her how it is to submit something without taking the victims feeling into the account. But she did it on her own. We will see if her last words were true or not.

Yes, his mother is involved in the case of sexual assault and rape and indirectly in Kwak Young Shi's disappearance. Actually, I didn't expect it. His mother seems to be a doctor as well. I am now wondering why YJW decided to become prosecutor, when he was a psychiatrist before. There must be a reason... that could be one of his secrets. YJW was also looking for a woman, when he met the detective working for the villain: I guess, it could be MYD's mother. I am glad that YJW is asking for her help.

@Dhakra I believe that MYD was telling the truth at the trial. Now, she could better understand the victim's pain. However, MYD is someone who will never reveal such a soft side, hence she told YJW that she wouldn't change and he shouldn't see this speech at its face value. Since YJW is a psychiatrist, he could see through her, hence he smiled. He knew, this wasn't true.

@bebebisous33Yeah, but just to make sure let's wait until the next trial. I don't trust MYD yet and YJW shouldn't either. :D The preview suggests that he is asking her for help, so let's see how this turns out. Maybe they get a little closer.

This drama has been a great discovery of Jung Ryeo-Won for me. God, what an actress! This is my first time watching her and I'm smitten. She really should do more dramas. I was crying with her during the last scene where she imagines her mom. She is sassy, confident, and brash, yet at the same time can portray the emotional and crying scenes with so much realism. Yup, She is definitely getting added in my list of favorite actresses.

I just finished ep 1-4 in the last 2 days. Wow. I wasn't planning to watch it so didn't read anything about the characters.

Totally blown away by the acting, and the fast pace. It is less heavy than anticipated somehow thought it was dealing with paedophiles or child rape cases. So I was planning on avoiding it.

In the whole scheme of things- if you're talking about sex crimes here- I guess secret videos are mild. But I literally had palpitations on MDY's behalf at the end of ep 3.  That is seriously creepy scary and frightening.

I liked how the writer didn't make Yeo ( what's his name anyway) too cliche or too boring. We don't know much about him and that's fine. But I like how he comes across as a decent human being but doesn't have the screaming self righteous air about him.

Just on 4 episodes alone, even though it is not the BEST procedural drama around yet, it mixes the human emotions, the characters, the OTP, the investigative and court work, lighting and directing enough to make this a good drama. Thank god for a good drama. I have been in such a slump. So this, plus Revolutionary's Love has been excellent. I need some dramas with some brain and heart but don't need the super heavy serious dramas.

Not to say the themes aren't serious. I have always, at the back of my mind, when I have to assess and be alone ( sometimes, and sometimes with a copper present ) found it very hard to look at a person accused and/ or arrested for a sex crime- impartially. It makes my skin crawl. And since I am behind an avatar here feel free to say it.How do those people DO such things? And then expect people to treat them well or feel sympathetic or be nice to them. I never do it in a closed room, or have myself near an open door. So the MDY incident and the perpretrator finding out her address creeps me out. One wonders if that violent person whom you have just discharged- would be waiting for you at the carpark. Or any of the criminals- find out your identity- outside work. Ergh. So yeah this story creeps me out. I have asked security to escort me to the car before when I finish at midnight or leaving work at 3am or times like this. Episode 3- can you tell- had me totally creeped out. Since it's my personal nightmare... even if it's in a Kdrama. It has never happened before in another Kdrama scene has it?

And yes, everyone is presumed innocent until guilty. Not everything is so clear- cut in real life. You don't get the clean- cut looking accused coming to you. Just saying when a police brings a person to you- not everyone is a 1st offender- you would be getting all the drug and alcohol history- as well. So just in case people think I am judging an innocent person. Don't even talk to me about parents who abuse children ok.

I really enjoyed how the director paralleled the YD's  mum's hand and JW's hand at the end scene there.

She as dreaming, and felt her mum hands (but actually JW's hand) and moved it, but move JW's hand.

Well done director/writer well done!

For me the most memorable moment.
