I just do this for fun and since we'll not know who's the lady until the episode aired... So I just did some collage to examine/investigate(?) that photo..

 

The most difference thing that I can see is the phone case..

As we can see three pictures below, Sohyun's phone case is all using the same color, baby pink color from her interview in early May, during her fan meet and also when shooting with L yesterdays, her phone case doesn't change... However that person in above picture use different phone case..kinda reddish-black colour...so she's not GE (or maybe she's using someone else phone)

But by comparing the face side by side, they do have similar features..

However by seeing the comments on the IGs, majority agreed that she is HG.. So I take that as an answer.

So that's it, but who knows, maybe we have new character that doesn't reveal yet.

yeah, I'm happy to see that!! like you said either Woo Bo or the Queen helped him in it though really if the Queen did it it means it has something for her but anyway he'll have a way to the palace which is a good thing both to be near Ga Eun  and to reach Lee Seo and find a way to get back to his right place!!

positive or negative comments/reviews on dramas or any type of movies, I've learned that as a viewer - it affects you no matter what. before then, I was also so preoccupied about people's thoughts in the dramas that I let it take over my own love for it. If I thought that one episode was really good but a reviewer or one comment had something negative to say about it - I would go, "oh. maybe he/she's right." sometimes I would drop dramas for the mere fact of those comments I've read before. 

but as I got older and started realizing that people's preferences on certain dramas shouldn't affect me, I decided to block those comments out. at times, I would read reviews & comments for fun but I don't let it bother me. 

there  are a lot of dramas that can be considered bad for some while it could be one of the best dramas released for others. people are different so their preference in dramas are also different. The same goes for actors/actresses, I could love one person as an actor but another person wouldn't click with their acting at all.

all I wanted to say is don't be so discouraged by comments or reviews that you see about this drama or any other drama. if you like it, watch it. don't be so mindful of how their comments affect your liking for the drama (: I know that sometimes comments itself affects the actors but they always try to not let it get to them.

I agree with you our love for a drama shouldn't be affected by others comments or reviews!! I still feel sad when I read those kind of comments but I just ignore them and enjoy my drama for what I love about it!! I used/still use reviews and comments to check on dramas I didn't check on for the positive respons I read but I never really was that affected by them to drop a drama since I found it clear from the start that we can have different oppinions and tastes, I remember reading recaps of dramas I SO LOVED but all I loved or most of it wasn't impressive/good enough for the recappers, that was sad but I was fine and still follow their recaps of other dramas since we can love same dramas like we can feel differently about some others!!

@maryofbethany Thank you for all the information about the flower and poison. I think you are right about what you said about the poison and hopefully Ga Eun will be the one to find an antidote for it  I don't want to see our Crown Prince go through what the late King and Lee Seon is going through with the poison...

@vangsweetie637 I felt like I brought up the whole discussion about the poison now, haha  I actually went back to Episode 1 as well to rewatch the whole thing about the poison when I posted my previous comments about the poison. When watching Episode 1, I was actually wondering why they squeezed the snake venom into the flower because I originally thought the flower itself held the poison. Obviously I don't know anything about this whole flower poison  I had no idea it was opium, but now it makes sense that the flower is a poison flower because they squeeze the snake venom in the flower and it's the flower that represses the poison, and it isn't until you stop taking the flower poison that all the poison is unleashed and kills you.. @maryofbethany, thank you for that clarification about it.

I'm actually wondering the same thing about the whole thing with our Crown Prince being immune to poison. Like to what extent can he suppress poison in his body? Does it apply to the flower poison as well, because the flower poison is more unique where you have to keep taking the poison in order to live.. I feel like the flower poison is really strong too so could our Crown Prince really suppress it? However, I hope we don't get a situation where the Crown Prince takes the flower poison. Get that flower poison AWAY from our Crown Prince...!!

Also what is that five second clip for? Is it a small spoiler for a future scene? Something about Ga Eun inside of carrier but our Crown Prince walks right by it?

I stopped reading the negative comments as well~ I don't understand why this drama has so many negative comments because I honestly love it so much and it's so intriguing. Like many of you, I think Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So Hyun have amazing chemistry in the drama, and I'm just waiting for their kiss scene ehehe....... Ahem, anywho, where was I? we need to see it to know to what extent his immunity to poison really is- I'm just saying but don't really want to see my King getting poisoned writer-nim and surely not with the flower poison!! 

yeah it's a fan-cam video taken while Yoo Seung Ho was filming that scene and it's a poiler of a future episode when Ga Eun will enter the Palace as a Court Lady and our King will apparently go to meet her but he missesher by few seconds not realising she's the one on the palanquin!!

Or there's that moment where it's time to sleep at night but the next Episode of the drama you're watching airs the next morning and all you can think about is the next Episode and what will happen...but you can't sleep at night... Omg, @maryofbethany, when Remember was airing, I absolutely had a hard time sleeping at night because I was dying to know what'll happen in the next episode...

i remembers Remember.......
its not secrets that i adored YSH because of his delivery in Remember, not at all shipping YSH and PMY, but i totally felt like i discovered my tearducts were actually hyper sensitive after Remember. If we say YSH's role in Ruler was well invested and his acting skill been demonstrated, or that his drama's lines were awesome, maybe we should take some times and watch Remember after Ruler finish airing, esp for those who has not enough intakes of Yoo,
each of YSH's fan has their favourite Yoo's dramas, and there should be not argument as to which is exactly the signature role of YSH... or which lady is his best OTP (to me, i guess KSH is her best compatible OTP lady, the visuals of Monarch couple is attractive.)...

but i was totally swept into the feels and break dam at the scenes of Remember... from the moment he started to save his father and lost him, his signs of Alzhemeir's started to emerged, to Lee In-ah trying to comfort, acting strong while aching, to finally he really lost memories... his role at Remember is even more challenged and he met the challenged well until i couldnt think of any hunk actors in the industries now that can take this role better than YSH...
but did i ship YSH and PMY back then? no, my personal friends know who i ship PMY with, definitely not YSH. did i expect a kiss scene for InAh and jinwoo, yes. because JinWoo needs it as a memory to fight to hang on the slowly disappearing memories, and Inah need a kiss for the rest of her life to remember him and his good times.... the whole process of watching Remember is also not just bout cheesily wanting kisses... but the totally follow the emotion builidng up as you feel YSH's agonies step by step, deeper and deeper, hopes diminishing, until you stop asking the deeper question in life, what we should focus as important in life,
that is Memories, and loved one... it should be a journey YSH will remembered dearly for taking that role... and their scenes together is not really about making you delulu wanting skinship... actually earlier i phrased wrongly. its the deep understanding and the interaction and the trust, the "i am watchng your blind side" silent covenant between both characters that is priceless. if only writernim wrote a fraction of that into writing Characters in YSH's future projects after Remember.

this character building and the heart wrenching dialgoues are the ones i will remember for a long time.... i guess teh writernim of Remember did an awesome job in writing the characters of PMY and YSH, writing intriguing nail bitting plots, making senses plots... i remember back then dramabeans was fully supporting weekly. Remember, is worth rememebring..................
at least it brought me back breaking my dam and breaking down last night as i went to their OST and wept, that is after about a yr and a half. Remember's OTP's comparatability may not be there, but the character crafitng and the way characters sacrificed for each other is worth remembering.
sorry that this is Ruler's drama and i am talking Remember. just need to suggest those new fans of YSH, can considered watching Remember, for some indulgence of YSH there, even if you don't buy the pairing of PMY and YSH. the romance wasnt a mainplot there, just like Ruler.

 

 

i am praying writernim can write in very touching melancholic scenes, and furthered bring out that wealth of melo-feels in YSH. YSH can go deeper even for Pyeha Sun, trust me, so far we are floored by his tears, his mesmerizing visuals as the OTP stands together, or the missing each other moments... but YSH's gift in melo has not explored to the fullest yet.. if you see him in Warrior, Missing U, Remember.. u know what i mean..Writernim, bring Sun's character emotional journey to climax pls. have faith in the acting skill of YSH and KSH, that with the little that they are given, they will bring in a diff energy that will not be possible if roles of Sun and GE is given to other actors/actress.

I didn't watched Remember yet and I'm still trying to figure out how to watch it and Yoo Seung Ho's other projects without having a breadown crying oceans for/with him on those projects but I remember that scene!!  actually I was torturing myself for some reason checking on the drama every week seeing what happened cry my eyes out reading the recap and watching his scenes but not watch the drama fully!!what was I doing?!!  wouldn't have been better if I watched it and ended it there instead of needing to go relive the pain all over again watching the entire drama not only parts of it?!!  

actually Ruler is the 1st drama I'm watching of Yoo Seung Ho aside from Arang and the Magistrate where he had a cameo, estended cameo?. I always wanted to watch him and admired his acting but couldn't really watch his projects because I cried my eyes out and my heart broke to million peices only watching his MVs from those dramas and was hoping and waiting for him to make a drama where I won't have to cry an ocean watching it (didn't ask for no crying only for not tooooooooooo much crying for my poor eyes and heart) but then Ruler's news came and it was classified as a melodrama and Yoo Seung Ho+melodrama+sageuk=I'm doomed and can't escape crying and heartbreak so I ended up making a decision to just jump in and watch it with the realisation that it would be a shame to not watch him ever waiting for him to take a project that can be merciful for me and went to watch his movies "The Magician" (2015) and "Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River " (2016) who were supposedly fun but ended up making me cry like a baby too leaving me yelling at my laptop "WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME CRY AT SUPPOSEDLY FUN MOVIES!! " but I loved them and him for sure!!  and to my happy surprise Ruler isn't as heartbreaking as I thought it would be (don't change that writer-nim) though we had episode 5-6 that left me devastated (don't want another episode like that writer-nim)!!

@ferily lol it's good thing to talk about the poison because it is a huge part of the story. We will have to dissect it so we can understand its meaning in the story and how it is used without an antidote, it really is a horrible way to die. I hope LS gets an antidote somehow or else, i fear for his dependence on DM. Omo. i am so happy it's Wednesday tomorrow. Woo-hoo!!

I dont mean to go off topic. But, since we are on the topic of YSH personally, I will like to share how I became a YSH fan. I didn't watch his child dramas as much as I watched KSH. However, it was in I Miss You, where both of these two met that I became a true and huge fan. YSH's acting as Harry blew me away. And i was so immersed in his role, i felt myself emotional over his scenes. There is something about his tears that feels so raw, it touches my emotions and I find myself tearing up. I told myself after the drama 'Wow. He is an amazing actor. Love him. He is one of my favorite now.' Unfortunately, RL got busy and i didn't keep up with dramas for awhile. Didn't even know he had other dramas. Then, when I saw the promotion/teaser for Ruler, I knew I had to watch this drama, not just to support them, but also to be reminded of why I loved them so much in the first place.

 

 

 

 

It took so long for Wednesday to be here and before we know it, Thursday will already be over haha.
