Our Add Subtract chingus, welcome to The Soompi +2 - 2 = 0 Awards!   Since we have known each other for a long time already, we EOs thought it would be nice to give out awards to all members! Yay! Also, in the spirit of the Olympics, shouldn't we be awarded for our tenacious gossiping, oppa stealing, fangirling / fanboying, oppa wars, food pics and random knowledge sharing too?   We will reveal 3 awards every day. Am just mindblown over that jamboree. Sounds like they just used the jamboree as a pretext to build infrastructure in the area. Apparently they are planning on building an airport at the site after this. :blink: Am still wondering where 2/3 of the money went.

It sounds so terrible and disgusting. Those poor kids and their leaders, after all that money was spent to get everyone there. I would've felt so trapped and angry that every single thing was going wrong. Hopefully there's some accountability now. It cracked me up a bit to learn that the officials traveled to London and Paris to check things out but London hadn't hosted a Jamboree since 1920 and Paris has never hosted one. Good grief.

 

So behind on all my dramas (Heartbeat, Suspicious Partner). I seem to be unable to get past 7 episodes. And I'm even thinking about starting Not Others now. :D

Hmm, snakes can be tolerated, so is the weather for the day/week which is quite beyond control. Even the "wrong" for jamboree venue can still be somewhat acceptable to a point. However, serving rotten food and the seemingly lack of security and order for effing 45,000 delegates...why, that's criminal. If anyone from the delegates got very sick, missing, became crime victim, how will they even explain it?

 

Small, avoidable incidents in an international event are bound to be magnified because there would be eyes everywhere. But these...woah.

 

Accounting the expenses for this jamboree would be very interesting, LOL!

Am super FFing Heartbeat because it just went downhill from ep 4 ->. Not Others was good until like ep 6. The last 2 episodes of that were also FF inducing.

I stopped watching Heartbeat too around ep5 cos I thought it went downhill from there but started ‘Touch My Behind’…quite funny in ep1…we’ll see.
