I have googled translate the long interview and it is not 100% accurate but this is what caught my eye. Han ji min said she thought she is bright and cheerful but the truth is, she is lonelyI think her grandmother's death contributed lots to it as she grew up with her. I really hope she can find someone to spend her forever

@richelle, some facts were not accurate or some translation and english grammar were not accurate? I hope the reference to Scotland was not an error?  Thanks

As a fan of hers for a long time, I waited with bated breath and when her name was called, I shouted and cried with her Miss Baek is a labor of love and I will always be proud of her for taking the risk of accepting the role as the main plot is just so hard to watch. She gives life to the role and she won numerous awards because it is her pure heart of wanting to raise awareness about child abuse that makes the difference

Thanks for the link. I love the article. I loved the feelings she shared.  I am ecstatic that Han Ji Min was the one who caught my attention when I was initiated into the Korean showbiz - I was not wrong, she makes me proud to be her fan! She’s just absolutely incredible - heart-wise, acting-wise and beauty-wise! I truly wish her HUGE success with Josee.

They really have went to Scotland to shoot. So we can expect a really nice cinematography for Josee

Thanks! I am excited, Scotland, wow! How come there was no news about this before? Then this could not be a low-budget film if they filmed some parts in Europe. I wonder why they had to shoot outside SK. I remember reading something from the PD that he also showcased the almost forgotten low-income community to bring it to public  attention. I’m confused/intrigued now. Anyway, we’ll know when we see the movie hehehe!

I didn't realize it had filmed in Scotland. No wonder parts of the teaser were so beautiful it didn't really look like Korea even though I haven't been to Korea.

 

it is nice that she has a good core group of friends and she is clearly enjoying her down time now with nature in Korea. I didn't realize her sister is in Australia. So guess lots of keeping in touch with family

Thanks, @richelle Richelle. My guess is that the Scotland part of the movie will be scenes from Josee’s imagination/dream of a happy life with the love of her life, Yoseok.  Scotland must have been featured in some of the books she’ve read which have fascinated her. That’s what books are for to trigger imaginations creating ‘stories’ in our heads where we could be anyone anything that makes us happy!  I wonder if PD made Josee walked in her imagination?

I am loving this remake of Josee more and more each day as I get to know more details.

Chinggu then you are much luckier. You can get to see it on it's first day. So lucky are you Please do share your review once you watch it. Miss Baek has been successful because word of mouth helps. I really hope the movie is good. This is ji min's dream of having a romantic film

I am hoping we have someone with a good soul who can translate her W Korea interview. It was long and would be nice to have a good and accurate translation

 

Seoul is in the news again. Hoping they can contain the current outbreak as they again put restrictions on gatherings. I hope it will improved before Josee opens.

 

Come to think of it, Ji min is again lucky to have this movie produced. They started with the production September last year and ended January this year before the pandemic. Movie industry is badly hit by this ongoing pandemic. We are not sure if everything will be even back to normal. Atleast our ji min managed to film her dream movie and hopefully it will be received well. It will take again some time before she will be in another movie production, that is for sure. The film is filmed in winter and will be released winter as well. Josee fighting
