LMH isn't someone that disrespect ladies, the little I have known and studied him , he is extremely gentlemanly even more than the Korean actors I liked, he makes those ones look like gangsters now. 

 

He simply lost control because he really likes KGE, I doubt he had ever felt this way before, he cant help himself and that's why  KGE is very understanding and isn't angry at him, even if they aren't dating here, she knows this guys has very deep feelings for her. 

 

This also means all those hugs that he was always buried In her neck were kisses. he wants to swallow her, that's how it feels when you are deeply in love. and she had done an amazing job trying to tone him down because we have gotten so much more xrated content

She has done it since:

1. SBS Keyword interview, she chided him for closing the interview with muddled voice and asked him to do it again 

2. Presscon, take the mic and apologize on his behalf 

3. Jenga Games, her saying 'you don't even know the rule' with cute voice, aw... 

4. She could slap or hit him and he would just laugh and smile
