 Dr Bae, he is definitely hiding something. He researched Dr Seo background and knows his debt is 80,000 won. I wonder why his checking on Dr Seo

 

KSB better be ok. His hand is injured and Dr Seo saw that his arm was weak. He suspects theres something wrong and its called "carpal tunnel syndrome." 

KSB went to another hospital to check his hand and on his way back to Doldam (as like the preview) the bus swerved off the road. KSB calls Doldam and alerts them of the accident and to prepare the hospital ready for them to come. He tells Dr Seo and Cha to come to accident to help him. KSB hand is injured even more and he struggles to save some of the injured especially a pregnant lady. President Park was at the scene and like a coward he hesitates to help those on the bus knowing that KSB is there. He sees Dr Seo and Dr Cha going down the cliff to help KSB. The ep ends and looking at the preview the coward President didnt really help KSB

 

This so heartbreaking to see KSB so angry at his body for not being able to help the patient. He hits his arm and tries to force himself to perform CPR on injured lady

What a nail biting ep...Geez Im not the only one whom was screaming out WHAT the FARQ??? why arent you helping KSB you coward Dr Park

Hmm...im curious... are both AHY and LSK too serious with each other off screne? If they sre more comfortable, perhas we will see them with more chemistry? 

As AHY refers LSK as *senior, i guess he is keeping his proper distance...  sigh, i wish to see more interactive and happy bts scene between the two of them

 

(despite being a fan of the her and NJH's pairing, hehhe... thats another drama)...

I am guessing bold here.... maybe Dr Bae comes from a gangster family with loanshark operations, and he is feeling guilty for being a part of the family (though it is not something he could ve chosen)...that's why Dr Bae keeps to himself pretty much with that nerdy shell?? And try to avoid his family as much as possible by working in a remote hospital?

 

By the way, I am not really getting the supposed conflict between Park Min-gook and Kim Sa-bu... I mean a luxurious medical resort and a top class surgery hospital can co-exist together and achieve win-win situation, for being profitable. famous, as well as helpful to the patients who need difficult surgeries, isn't it?

@000231846597 thats a good point as Dr Bae was able to find out Dr Seo debt and the person he was talking to he called him ahjussi which could mean his an Uncle or just another word for mister. He seems very eager to find out more on Dr Seo. I even suspect his dinner with Dr Cha was to find more information on his past. I wonder if they are related somehow. He def looks differently at dr seo now and it looks like as if he feels guilty...or maybe my hunches are way off lol!

As for the new hospital resort plan at Doldam was intially Chairmans Do plan in S1 but that was ruled out by Dr KSB and the then Chairman. KSB argument against it because  most or all the patients whom come to Doldam arent rich. We see that even in s2 and most emergency cases are motor vehicle accidents or gang fights since Doldam location is near many highways and a local casino.  KSB and his staff is against this new hospital because this would mean these would be patients will be turned away to go to other hospitals but that would mean they may not survive as the next hospital would be too far for them to reach. 

Frankly I think this new medical hospital resort is such a dumb idea... who plays golf, shop and lives in luxury whilst the patients are suffering and ill. Will you even have the heart to do that? as a business person why would you invest in that?

I also feel that he is keeping his distance off screen. You know how some shippers are guessing that she and NJH are still dating and they announced the breakup because it was affecting his drama ratings. If this is true it may explained the hands off stance, since the modeling industry is probably not too big and it could be that they all knew one another as their age are the same.

@Kasmic those people are not really sick. You know those going for their annual health checks. Or those being " sick " so they can't be prosecuted. Or it is just another trend amongst the rich. Or plastic surgery then resting for weeks then having the entertainment and their spa treatment.

 

Lol. If the group is known for it I would invest. Health stocks and products are business investments.

 

Can't Master Kim have something simple like a tennis elbow or bursitis etc? I am sure it won't be since this is a D R A M A. But I am just saying snorting at the actor beating his elbow during CPR.

 

I am liking Director Park's looks by the way. I have been sick of the same actors playing senior doctors in all the medical dramas. 

 

And holy cow, I just googled him. He was in Encounter? And Designated survivor? Mama mia... And he had a beard and he looked so sexy. I know he's a veteran stage actor and all. But that curly haired guy is HIM? * mind blown * 

 

I am going to Designated survivor now just to see him as the NIS Terrorism Task Force Chief.

Hey, I actually had a similar thought. I thought he is quite a good looking guy and the voice suits him too. But I think he looks soooo much better with the mustache and scruffy beard

It looks as if they’re keeping distance cause it’s their first time working together. So it’ll take awhile to have the closeup. Other than that, I just hope they start to develop a better relationship in the upcoming episodes cause there’s only 16 total. And we’ve reached half point. Yet we haven’t seen anything progress other than a peck on the lips but no confirmations of how both party feel about each other. The only relationship that’s progressing is Dimple couple. I don’t want to talk about the end but I need more videos of the main leads

Omg chingu you sound like Chairman Do hahaha! where doctors no longer make money saving lives but by other means .... resorts, escaping prosecutions,  health stocks, luxury benefits. Its not a hospital anymore especially since all those emergency cases will be turned away. I wonder if such grand hospitals truly exist or is it in discretion of the hospitals ? Though Ive seen some cases eg plastic surgery that offer these luxury treatments,/benefits. 

 

I like Director Park though i'd still like to correct and yell at him like Nurse Oh did in ep 9. Such a highlight until.Manager Jang had to spoil it. Im hoping we will see his development as a doctor. I havent seen the  sub ep yet but I dont think he likes the idea of the luxury medical hospital.  His angry that KSB saw his weakness- cowardly running away from the injured and his pride just wants to prove that KSB choice of staying in such dangerous condtions to save lives was too reckless and therefore his choice was right.

By the way can you enlighten us on what Dr Seo suspects KSB have with his arm - carpal tunnel syndrome? I googled it and its something got to do with his nerves...that sounds serious. Does  that mean he wont be able to operate anymore?

I haven't watched ep 9 yet waiting for subs or rather waiting for subs to be ready for edit in my case? It's been driving me slightly batty how little fluids they are giving for resuscitation. I keep hoping I am hearing it wrongly.

 

It is CTS? Hahaha. Really? I didn't think the writer was going to make something so mundane. It's common yes. And that was what I first thought when he had no strength in his grip opening the door. I guess for microsurgery purposes and delicate surgery it would have work implications for him. It's not a 100% cure rate post surgery. However he should have known it as it's common to exclude it in the initial stages of any arm issues.

 

I am going back into hibernation. I already went to the beginning of the episode then the end. Not in a rush as I am catching up on Prosecutors ep 9.

Ehm I like Type A personality types. So Director Park and aka Professor in surgery is so my type.  And especially in a suit.

So we can confirm that woojin does have a thing for eunjae!! But it's just that he's holding back because he gotta take care of some stuff first I guess. But the push and pull for these two are making me impatient!!! eunjae is a little dense when it comes to woojin's feelings for her tho lol. like guuuurl, he likes you but you're still clueless. and i'm pretty sure deep down somewhere she's a little little fond of him but it just hasn't grow.. yet. hehe i'm expecting a major development soon in their love lines ^^

 

Ok this time, Dr Park isn't making me annoyed but it's that goon of his that's sooooooo annoying. like all he does is just eavesdrop on conversations, make people get coffee for him and follow dr park around????? Like he's a doctor too but apparently he's very free to do all these things instead of treating patients. lmao then what is your medical degree for. ugh

 

I understand Manager Jang's POV tho. Like he has no choice but to suck up to Dr Park for survival. Low level staffs like him gotta survive because unlike the doctors/nurses, it's even harder for admin staffs to get another job should doldam closes. He was partially right. Though I love the moment when chief nurse yelled at Dr Park. Oh the humiliation of being yelled at for the second time in front of people. 

 

oh dear though, what is going to happen to master kim's hand? I have a feeling Dr Park's goon is gonna tattletale on his condition and they'll force him out of doldam or something.. but don't worry Master Kim, we're all rooting for you!!!

 

Today's ep was less action, more politics and little romance here and there, a bit meh for me but i'm so looking forward for the next ep cause we get to see everyone in action!!!!!! YAY!

Yes, dont you think its kinda sad to announce a breakup because of a drama? Shippers still think they are dating though. Glad to see that NJH's career has improved.

 

As for AHS, urgh, i wish his hair is better and not messy as WJ's.... that man has good looks but his hair is making him less attractive in this drama... haha... im sure we will get to see his new hair eventually

Thank goodness mother and baby is well. While Dr Yoon dealing with the raped victim. I knew that fake police seem odd. She is so quick wit and I cheered when she poured the boiling water on his face. Eun Tak and Mr Goo saved her. They are growing on me and KMJ deep voice is soooo sexy lol!

Dr Yang is seriously useless.. i’m being nasty here.. i mean, the time we saw him in the OT was when he made a dumb mistake.. and the rest of it he is just being overly cautious about SWJ and being the loudmouth speaking on behalf of Director Park..  even the snobbish Dr Shim is less annoying given that she was amazed when Nurse Oh reprimanded Director Park.. and she has no intention be be fake with her amazement in front of Dr Nam.

 

Chairman Do isn’t too pleased with Director Park at the dinner.. i’m hoping rigid personality of Director Park will make him realise sooner the importance of a good doctor.. he can’t seem to let go of the accident 3 years ago.. he could have admired Teacher Kim for his selflessness yet ashamed of his own selfishness at that split moment.. thats why he is trying so hard to make himself more superior in Doldam..

 

thats my thoughts though.. can’t wait for ep10 with eng subs
