Hahaha omo why this happens to me again   There are many dance teasers anyways. I already thought they need to step up promotion game also this might not be so out of line. Along with teaser I hope  we can get  detailed character descriptions to talk about. 

I'm loving all NjH stills so far, her hair style is spot on reminds me of her char in Angel Eyes she looks more mature now and OtP already looks great side by side. Thanks for uptades!!

[Drama] “Suspicious Partner” holds its first script reading

Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun of SBS’s new drama “Suspicious Partner” have finally met.  These two people, who will show off the essence of romantic comedy, gathered together with the other actors and production company for the first script reading of “Suspicious Partner.”

The romantic comedy “Suspicious Partner” is the story of a prosecutor-turned-lawyer and a judicial trainee outsider who fight and reconcile for each other as they fight a world filled with prejudices.  Park Sung Ho, co-producer of “The Legend of the Blue Sea” and “Daebak, Moment of Fate,” and ‘ro-co’ [*rom-com] specialist Kwon Ki Young, writer who received lots of love with “Protect the Boss,” are collecting expectations.

On 4 April, the first script reading of “Suspicious Partner” was conducted at the SBS Tanhyeon-dong Production Center with the four main actors (Ji Chang Wook, Nam Ji Hyun, Choi Tae Joon, and Kwon Nara) and supporting actors (Lee Deok Hwa, Nam Ki Ae, Yoon Bok In, Kim Hong Pa, Choi Hong Il, Kim Ye Won, and 2PM’s Hwang Chang Sung). In addition to Director Park and Writer Kwon, the crew members gathered together to improve their teamwork.

 

Actors and staff members who arrived at the script reading site exchanged greetings, and Lee Deok Hwa, who appeared with a particularly bright expression, raised the atmosphere with his characteristic tone of familiarity.

Director Park Sung Ho, who directed all actors and staffs in one place, said, “I will cherish this relationship that we have going forth and do my best to do the filming enjoyably on set. I will also try my best to capture a lot of pretty frames until early summer so that there is no shame in my work.”  Writer Kwon Ki Young also said, “I am honoured to work with everyone and will do my best.”

After that, Park Sun Ho introduced the actors and staffs one by one, had the time to learn each other’s faces, and started reading the script. At the same time, the actors were completely absorbed in their respective roles.  Above all, Ji Chang Wook, who will play sexy but ill-tempered prosecutor Noh Ji Wook, also showed his charm in expressing various emotions, while giving off the feeling of “Noh Ji Wook Syndrome.”  Nam Ji Hyun had everyone’s attention focused with a new mature look added to the youthfulness of Eun Bong Hee, a judicial trainee student.

In fact, Choi Tae Joon, who is a close friend to Ji Chang Wook, also acts as his friend in the drama as lawyer Ji Eun Hyuk, showing off his natural acting with unanimous opinion of the production team.  Hello Venus’s Nara also surprised everyone with her stable performance.  Meanwhile, the first script reading was successfully completed with Lee Duk Hwa, Nam Ki Ae, Yoon Bok In, Kim Hong Pa, Kim Ye Won and Hwang Chang Sung giving a ‘thumbs up.’

The show’s audience has sensed expectations and interest is growing on exciting actors with immersive acting after reading the script.  A spokesperson for “Suspicious Partner” said, “I think it is a good start that we are showing such good teamwork from the first script reading.”  “We will do our best to present a good piece of work to the viewers with the best synergy of the actors and the production team. Please show lots of interest in our drama,” he said.

Meanwhile, “Suspicious Partner” will be broadcast at 10:00pm on Wednesday, 10 May, following “Saimdang, Light’s Diary.”  Many more photos containing the warm atmosphere of the script reading were posted on SBS’s homepage.

Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun are All Smiles at Script Reading for SBS Drama Suspicious Partner

I’m so excited for upcoming SBS Wed-Thurs drama Suspicious Partner, regardless of the leading lady casting carousel and the litany of title changes. I never got invested in currently airing sageuk Saimdang: Light’s Diary and judging from the steady around 10% ratings neither did the audience despite the big name return of Lee Young Aefrom a decade long acting hiatus. A quirky rom-com sounds perfect for the spring season and it doesn’t hurt to see leads Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyunradiate cuteness together at the script reading for the drama. I don’t see any age difference and frankly he’s the same age as Seo In Guk who had amazing chemistry with Nam Ji Hyun in their last rom-com Shopping King Louie. I pray this one has as engaging a story will equally caring characters, please don’t waste their talents and also give Ji Chang Wook a nice send-off to military service later this year.

The side of SBS new Wed - Thurs drama special 'Suspicious Partner' that will be broadcast on upcoming May 10, revealed the scene of the first script reading that shows perfect teamwork with laughter.

Romantic comedy 'Suspicious Partner' is an ant hell romance where a tsundere smart prosecutor that is heavily armed with unapproachable roughness and an outsider who passed judicial institute with her infinite positive energy, suffered a mysterious incident and become involved with each other. SBS rising star director Park Sun Ho who co-directed 'Legend of the Blue Sea', 'Jackpot' and etc and romantic comedy expert writer Kwon Ki Young who received big love with 'Protect the Boss' and gather expectations.

'Suspicious Partner' first script reading was held in SBS Tanhyeon Production Center on April 4. Together with the 4 lead actors - Ji Chang Wook, Nam Ji Hyun, Choi Tae Joon and Nara - other actors who show the best acting teamwork - Lee Deok Hwa, Nam Gi Ae, Yoon Bok In, Kim Hong Pa, Choi Hong Il, Kim Ye Won, Hwang Chan Sung and etc - participated. In addition, they hardened their teamwork together with production crew such as director Park Sun Ho and writer Kwon Ki Young whom they will be working together in the future.

The actors and staffs who arrived at the site of the script reading greeted with warm greeting, especially Lee Deok Hwa who appeared with bright face said, "Nice to meet you~ Wow it's good~" greeting with distinctive cheeky tone and brightened the atmosphere as much as he can.

When all the actors and staff gather in one place, director Park Sun Ho showed his will, "I will treasure the relation in the future and make it as enjoyable as possible in the shooting set. I will work hard so that I can put lots of pretty pictures until early summer so that there is no shame in my work." Writer Kwon Ki Young also conveyed her greetings, "I'm glad to be with you, and I will do my best."

After that, director Park Sun Ho introduced the actors and staffs one by one and had time to learn each other's faces and started the script reading. At the same time, the actors were fully integrated into their roles. Ji Chang Wook, who play rough but sexy prosecutor 'Noh Ji Wook', not only radiates his the sexiness as if he is possessed by his character, but also showing off the charm of expressing various emotion and 'Noh Ji Wook syndrome' is expected this spring. Nam Ji Hyun attracted attention with a new appearance from liveliness to maturity as judicial trainee student 'Eun Bong Hee'.

Choi Tae Joon who is a real best friend of Ji Chang Wook, will take 'Ji Eun Hyuk' role who is Noh Ji Wook's friend and lawyer with lack of affection. He showed a realistic and natural acting. Nara who joined with unanimous decision of the production crew, surprised everyone with her stable acting skill. In addition, the first script reading was successfully completed with the addition of solid acting skill from Lee Deok Hwa, Nam Ki Ae, Yoon Bok In, Kim Hong Pa, Kim Ye Won and Hwang Chang Sung.

After the script reading blended with exciting episodes and the actors' immersive performance, it is said that both the actors and the crew detected an extraordinary big hit, making the expectation and interest of viewers are increasing.

Actually, Choi Tae Joon is there as well. He's the chap in the light gray suit initially dancing with NJH before Nara comes out center stage, and then of course JCW comes down from the stage to join the fun. So, it really is all four leads of the drama dancing around.

[Drama] “Suspicious Partner” cast holds an ‘election campaign’ to round up support

To drum up publicity for the upcoming drama “Suspicious Partner”, Ji Chang Wook and the rest of the main cast staged a comical promotion drive a la election campaign style complete with comic dances!

The main cast of SBS’s new drama “Suspicious Partner” made an appearance in Yeouido facing the National Assembly at 8am on 12 April. Ji Chang Wook, who stars as the character Noh Ji Wook, donned a black suit with red tie and appeared alongside Nam Ji Hyun as the female lead Eun Bong Hee, Choi Tae Joon as Ji Eun Hyuk, and Nara as Cha Yoo Jung, who each wore pink and blue costumes.

The event took place in the form of a mock electoral campaign, with Ji Chang Wook representing his “Suspicious Party” (the make-believe name of this impromptu political party) as “Actor number 1” (instead of “Candidate number 1” *hee* ).  He stood on pink electoral campaign vehicles emblazoned with banners bearing slogans adapted from political campaign slogans such as “Everyone’s viewership will change the drama”, “Romantic comedy drama ‘Suspicious Partner’ that will excite 5 million citizens will premiere on 10 May”, and “Suspicious and crazily lovable (drama) that will surprise”.

Following the cue sign from director Park Sun Ho, Ji Chang Wook delivered his charismatic lines, “On 10 May, the day that will completely change the history of Korea, a completely new drama ‘Suspicious Partner’ will begin”.  [Note: 10 May is also the Korean nationwide election date for the country’s National Assembly members.]

Nam Ji Hyun, Choi Tae Joon and Nara danced along with the rest of the campaign members, throwing in comical ad libs such as “Please tune in”, bringing much laughter to citizens who were on their way to work.

The filming lasted around 4 hours with the National Assembly as the backdrop and generated interest for the drama among many citizens who took videos of them dancing using their phones and uploaded on social media, causing a stir online.

The production team said, “The cast perspired and practised dancing for the sake of the filming of this mock election and dance in front of the National Assembly. They were greatly encouraged that citizens loved it and were able to have fun together. More importantly, please wait a little while to see how this footage will be used and revealed and we will repay you with a video that will surprise you.”
