Sorry if this is old story but last night I rewatched MDBC bacause of missing puppies, and I brought me to  the last scene in Ep 18. 

Anw, did anyone notice what YJ did before few second BG will kiss her?? It was in minutes 01:41-01:54, when LY told RO who she is.. (Wish I am not overthinking here), but everytime I watched this scene, my eyes caught RO check LY's lips. LY  moved one small step closer to RO and RO slightly diverted her gaze from LY's eyes to his lips. she did it twice. Don't forget the eyes contact they had. how LY raised his eyebrows when RO talked.  These body languages from LY and RO makes the scene more intimate and make me felt butterflies in my stomach for what came next.

When a girl's gaze goes back and forth between a boy's eyes and lips, it is common body language sign of attraction. While  a boy moves closer to a girl and facing the girl, it means " I am so into you". He is entering the girl's personal space.  And when a boy raises his eyebrows response to something a girl says, it could be an indication of the boy is  interested in the girl.

My takes: how many things were scripted in a drama and how good the actors are, you could not deliver such as detail expressions and body languages if you are not emotionally involved. Those body languages will happen when you are around the girl/boy you like. I am doubt a) if the MDBC's writer described that YJ was needed to gaze back and forth between BG's eyes and lips and b.) if the honey stare and eyebrows raise of BG's response to YJ is cripted too. I thought those moves are natural.  How comfortable they are to each other to show such as kind of intimate and lovely scene. If it is platonic feeling, I found it creepy. You will not gaze your oppa's eyes and lips while they are talking to you, unless you think they can be a potential lover now and future. 

Again thank to phuong Dinh for such beautiful gif. From those gifs, I found how BG.-ie has huge pontential to be a great kisser. I am waiting 3-5 years when they will play drama or movie together.  Some of us think that this kiss is simple and not as hot as BG's kisses in other drama. However, as I said before this kiss always release thousand butterflies in my stomach. Innocent, intimate, heart fluttering, tender and hot (but not lustful). It was different than his other kisses. It is clear that BG has more experiences than YJ about kissing scenes, and he showed it, he lead YJ. I like how BG kissed YJ in this scene. To me that scene showed how BG respects YJ and how LY loves his RO (LOL) (maybe, I am overthinking again). It is just to quickly, they need to make it slow. 

1. BG did philtrum kiss, (according to Ancient Greek mythology, the philtrum is one of the most sensual parts of the body, I did now know if BG knew this too). If he did not know, it is just good start (means he know different type of kisses and he kissed his person not in the same way with other co-stars).  He did not push his way to YJ's mouth, but genly kiss her there and waiting.

2. He was kind of waiting YJ's reaction. While waiting, he was placing his hand in her neck (Like I want you, this is not just your everyday kisses), and stroking his thumb on YJ's cheek. It shows me tenderness and intimacy. (it is like asking YJ's permission to kiss her more passionate). YJ from smile to close her eyes and  slightly opened her lips (although we can see it, but if you pay attention BG and YJ's lips positition were not the same as before). Here we can see that BG started to kiss YJ passionately and still storking his thumbs on YJ's cheek.

When we see they moved their heads, BG granted three soft pecks on YJ lips to keep the feeling and sensation alive, and how sync they were searching for each other lips and tilt their heads while eyes are closed (It was quick, maybe because it is their 1st more than liplock). It is like they just opened their mouth together at the same speed and to the same circumference (Actually, this is not an issue anymore as we can see how sync BoYoo is..)  Both of lips were slightly parted. We can see how BG enjoyed this kiss as he closed his eyes as long as  they kisses. YJ enjoyed this kiss as she parted her lips, smile and slightly moved her hand into BG's waist. And so happy that BG did not use tounge, If he used it, I was gonna crying, because YJ is still young and also this kissed will lose its essence.. from more close up gif, we can see that before BG was stroking his thumb on YJ's cheeks, now he stopped it and focus to kiss YJ's lips and slightly and carefully moved his hand to YJ's back head/neck.

4. The director did not allowed us to enjoy their on screen, they zoom out the sceen, but we can see how slanted BG's face.. There is 75% possibility that they are going deep kiss there as from the beginning we can see how BG lead the kiss and enjoy it and How YJ response to it.

My takes: I dont know how directors direct the kiss scenes usually, how far they give the directions. BoYoo also said that they watched movie together to practice their last kiss scene. One thing, I am sure is both of them enjoy their last kiss. Looking how soemone enjoy the kiss, it is normal for him to forget how he did it. However,  sorry YJ-ah, I did not buy it that  when you said it is comfortable to kiss BG because BG  and you have your oppa-dongseng relationship. Unless, oppa-dongseng you mean is not platonic feeling. YJ responded to BG when she slightly opened her mouth and moved her hand to his waist. For me this kiss is kind of real because the sync they are when moved their head to different direction (Maybe director told them???). They moved their head in the same times, lip locked their lips at the same time and tilted their heads at the same times.

After taking the kissing scene, BG really did something special (I see actor seldom did kind of things to his co-stars after they shoot a kissing scenes)

1. Wipe her lips and nose (ep.7) and 2. hug her (ep 18). Both of these actions how much he cared for YJ. Sometimes when a guy hug a girl after he kissing her, it  could mean to buil trust and to show that he cares. I dont know if BG did these too to his previous co-stars??? I dont think so..  

2. he also smiled after the kissing scenes which  means he enjoyed. 

Anw: Actually, how kind, good and gentle is someone, he always put boundaries and put some walls from everyone. He can call anyone pretty etc and talked to others sweetly, but there is an action that he only did to his special one. from his actions, it is clear that YJ is special, is it just dongseng I did buy it. The way he said YJ was her dongseng is in hesitate mode, the way he treated YJ is not the way an oppa treats his dongseng, when he and YJ were standing and sitting together, it was almost no space between them, the way he saw YJ everytimes people teased him, he was seeking YJ's approval, etc. (many things) In his post interview he said that he felt that he was in relationship in RO character, while considered YJ as his dongseng??? It would be tough life for him during the drama.

Dear shipmate, you are never alone..I bet all shippers here can't help but be affected(in million ways than one) by this particular kissing scene. I felt that the shipping intensified when this momentous instance was captured in different angles for all of us to see. I guess, I do not think perversion has entered the realm of our shipping hearts. It only shows how deep the degree of our belief in BoYoo is. I guess, the better word for those of us (bet, all shippers at that) who are regaled or captivated by every show of affection (even how short and fleeting, kissing scenes or not) onscreen and all the more, in their BTS can be branded more aptly as romantics. As human beings, we are governed by the idea of falling in love because the reality is, we are made because of it. We identify ourselves through every bit and piece of what love represents (strong emotions most especially..love heads the list)..What is more profound is that, as we delve deeper in our involvement in our OTP, we become more attuned to them that we easily catch or detect a brewing love story(progressing in subtle speed) even though we are million miles away...and yes!..we even mirror (share) what they feel..(I don't think it is even our imagination) because their actions feed us. More so, I have such great respect in them that what they show us is genuine and true. I refuse to accept that delusion has become a major factor because we all still stand within the usual boundary of what is true and believable with possibilities too numerous because for the most part that nothing tangible (like romantic involvements to others which is a major obstacle) could hamper a purported (let's call it that at the moment although, we shippers believe there's more than that that meets the eye) relationship. As we all know, both are free birds (although careers are prioritized, having a special place in each other's hearts cannot simply be overshadowed).  

So let the shipping continue.. let the giddiness intensify.. And yes! we just love to fall in love.. and our OTP represents it. Let no doubt enter because once it enters,shipping becomes futile.

Ahh..BoYoo..look at what you've done to our hearts..

Oh yes! before I even forget, a big big thanks to our resident romantic novelist @thesecretgarden because you helped my temper simmer down yesterday when my sched at the parlor was not followed. Your post came at the right time. Before, I came across it, my patience was dwindling and I was ready to complain to my hairstylist because she started doing my hair 30 minutes after my real appointment.. how can you not get exasperated? Good thing I opened my phone, went into safari, and logged in to our forum and voila! there it was..the grimace that was transfixed on my face for thirty minutes was replaced by a smile and a quiet giddy giggle (and of course a beating heart that's ready to burst with so much excitement)..I tried hard to cover up my sudden smiling face but it was too obvious a change because I was facing too many mirrors.. Appreciate it very much dear shipmate..I would have surrendered to my caveman instincts if not for your post. and yup! I went home satisfied because I got the right hair color and highlights and still in good relationship with my hairstylist. All the more, I realized, there's no place for a diva attitude anywhere in this world. Patience is a virtue.. Looking forward to your next post my angel in disguise!

I'm LITERALLY down with fever! with sore throat (probably from screaming too much at the fanmeet!) 

I slept earlier, but woke up at about 3 a.m., and could not get back to sleep, and what did I do?

I came here 

So at first I was back reading without logging in....then @cici1post on the kiss scene and the lip stare caught my eyes.....

and i started typing my thoughts......

I’m gonna talk about two topics:

1. YJ’s lip stare

Actually, YJ did that several times throughout the whole drama. That was one of the things I noticed too.

I’m not sure how many times exactly but, the ones I clearly remembered are:

Pit scene EP 1 – when he pulled her to him….her eyes instantly landed on his lips (34:28) AND (34:45)

Consort Park’s garden scene  EP 3– when she asked him bot to call her puppy anymore (twice), and when he came close to stare at her…..basically when she avert eye contact, her eyes landed on his lips….

Secret garden kiss scene EP 7 – many times…..but the most obvious one is (58:06) right before she closed her eyes

Cosmos field kiss scene as mentioned

Please watch again and you’ll notice it. I’m guessing she did that in many other facial proximity scenes too……but I’m too lazy to check now.

2. Bogummy’s stare at MDBC press con

I’m not sure if this has been discussed here. I’m sure many of you are here because of the press conference, including me. What caught my attention was the few seconds of eye contact they made when they switched from the arm hold to the finger locking. And many of you must have also noticed how LONG (almost without blinking) BG stared at YJ when she was talking. But recently I re-watched the press con scene on this YT video again, and notice another thing I didn’t see before…..maybe some of you did see t already, so just bear with me……

BG gave YJ several long (longing) soft stares……but the longest one that I counted was from 2:04 to 2:15 (that’s like 10 seconds!). Actually I think I have to check the full PC video again to be sure, because in this MV the video was cut to other scene after 2:15……

OK, what I noticed between minute 2:04 to 2:15 was that it started with both of them staring at each other from 2:04. BG had this soft stare on her all the time. Then YJ looked away, while BG continued to give the soft stare. But at 2:11, YJ looked back at BG, and his soft stare suddenly intensified for a second, and you’ll see that the screen suddenly becomes brighter due to flashing from photographers’ cameras…….did they notice that too? I wonder…….

I know it’s a very small (possibly meaningless) detail, but my heart skipped a beat when I saw that…….

These 2 are young and cute and pretty but I am so proud at how level headed they are in their crazy celeb world. They are definitely strong inside to be able to hold their ground like this.

As for the ideal type I must say that when he get interviewed on Jan, he's actually NOT YET HAVE IDEAL TYPE AS FOR HAIR

Why I said this (this is also my comment on that IG)

FMHO, actually when he was interviewed then, he just make a flat response about girl hair because just have few references for that.

Why he mentioned bobbed hair?

Because he always paired to bobbed hair girl before MDBC (not mention his partner at music bank because they're not even close)

Notice that his partner before MDBC, such as in Cantabile Tomorrow, Coin Locker Girl, Jang Na Ra and R88, all of them have bobbed hair then.(okay we can count his partner at MB that have middle length hair as bobbed hair girl)

So it's not a big fuss actually why he must said bobbed hair.. (not because his latest co-star then, but because he always paired to bobbed hair girl) 

So for me he just giving flatty answer, and because MC mentioned "oh, many girl want to cut their hair now". he got guilty and said "I changed my mind between bobbed and long hair girl" 

 

 

As for ideal type, 

This is also his dream to meet someone that have all that package that he not yet meet then,

Notice that after MDBC, when he got interviewed again, his answer changed to : "I don't have any ideal type anymore" means "I don't even care, when love is come it's come along with that magic to me" or "I don't even have ideal type anymore because I already meet her"

It was a great and unforgettable night! He is such a warm hearted person. Yes, we definitely root for the right guy. He's always thinking about how to return his fans' love......you can feel it through and through.....

I like how he came out in the shiny white suit like a dazzling Prince Charming and started to show all those private photos.....as if telling us, look guys, you see me all suit up like this, but actually I'm just a regular guy, who is thrilled to see and appreciate simple things in life, to see myself on TV.....to walk about and sample local food when I travel......and excited just to see the HOLLYWOOD sign etc.....that gave him more dreams.....and I'm always working hard to improve myself, (when he showed the bow & arrow picture) and he kept giving us all sorts of advise......awwww......

And suddenly, BAM! he let's his hair down in jeans,.....and became part of us.......

Me and my daughter actually teared up when he read his letter......
