Amen to that the age gap is perfect for me. Just nab him when he is out of that player mode and is serious about settling down.

Really? That has to be the most ridiculous thing written so far. I find it hard to take comments like that seriously. I would just let ignorance like that to go over my head. I'm on the Hye Jung-Hong Hong Hong ship but every one has a right to be on whatever ship they choose. As long as no one is trolling or being disruptive I say live and let live.

Actually even from international fans there are strong positive acclaims for HJ-JH... just as with YD! And the rest of the casts as well. 

This only goes to show that the drama is indeed having a stellar performance since it's currently well-loved. I hope they will maintain being on-fire!!

Hello. everyone , i read all you comment and it's great , i love Doctors so much and it's been awhile since i watched a drama with this exciting and anticipation
,i don't know if it's just me but every sunday i watch all the scenes between our HJ-JH ..

As i am not from korea, i should call myself international fan. i have been a fan of PSH and KRW, i liked him in his movie 'my little bride' (i first didnt know he ws the one) i liked him in the movie so i was happy to see him paired with PSH. though i like the second lead and evn the motorbike guy (sorry, dont know his name) i still want to see the OTP together. in Korean shows, second lead syndrome is really serious. at times those chrs really take audience feelings with their acting and chr. (Heirs, Young Do is the best example) But still JH as a chr is an interesting study and his romance iwth HJ is beautifully progressing. for all my liking with other chrs, i wd like to see romance of the lead actors only. 

There is nothing wrong in ppl liking other chrs but lets not change the OTP pairing. As one of the international fan, i dont want to see that. i would rather love story focusing more on the developemnt of lead pair romance. 

Age difference or teacher student romance - these are too flimsy reasons for promoting other pairings. Age difference, though looks very obvious, JH chr is beautifully depicted by KRW that ppl are all fallign for his cheesy charm. i dont think people watching his rain dance would even bother thinking abt age. His open smile and loving glance to HJ is slaying people. The romance in the show is working sooo well becos of the way JH is played by KRW. for a chr like HJ, she needs more mature person to care for her. others like YD (did i get the initials right?), she would be intimidating. whereas with JH, who knows her right from her rebellious teen and seen her vulnerable, she can be her own self, can depend on him for support. Thanx to his age and maturity he wont be intimidated by her. evn her prowess in fighting impresses him. he is very confident abt himself that she need not worry or take care of him. with others, she probably would have to care and support them. 

So JH & HJ Fighting!!!

HJ/JH are set. i dont think the writer would be bold enough to not make them get together in the end. both PSH/KRW are star so it not wise to make korean fan angry at the writer.

if SW can let go of her jealousy toward HJ i would be all for YD/SW.

i didnt know the actor playing YD is the same actor that play Moo Hyul in six flying dragon till i watch running man.

please overlook me starting with Shinhye appreciation post for her performance as Hye Jung which even impresses an admirer like me.

This scene from Ep 6 , ( I think) ...touched me just like all her scenes with grandmother....maybe because they feel so real?.... Loved this strong relationship ....it's always great to have such strong, loving and motivating one in life........

I agree with all those who feel that JiHye will remain our main OTP.....from what we have seen until now. With HyeYoon , I feel that Hye Jung has the upper hand from the very beginning. She seems to overwhelm and impress YD with her dynamic , strong personality on multiple levels ....therefore at this particular moment cannot seem to envision them as a romantic pair. But definitely enjoy their scenes a lot!

@salz you can ship HJ with YD as much as you want in this thread. There is no reason for me to stop you. I don't have a problem with any of PSH male co-stars. I like all of them. The one problem I do have with YD is I find the character a bit childish to be a 35 year old. This maybe the writer herself not writing his role as mature as he should be or it maybe because YKS has got a little chubbier compared to his previous roles so I can't relate to him as much as I would like. (P.S I hope you don't take it as I don't like YKS because that is not what I mean)

On the other hand I think the writer has given some of the best lines to JH and KRW is really spot on with his acting. His acting is so natural. He makes cheesiness acceptable. I was never a fan of KRW and yes, I know he can act but I never found any of his previous roles as my favourite. I have watched My Little Bride and ING and I never finished Lovers in Harvard. Many of his C-fans keep saying SBS owe him the Daesang from last year for his role in Punch. As a PSH fan I am just thankful he took on the role of JH and owned it.

@Agie LOL, that Doctors parody was hilarious. You can tell a drama has hit the big time when a parody comes out. 

Finally, the topic about age. The person who made that comment in the first place just shows you are ageist. Please don't tell me you will never reach 40??? There are actually more RL couples with the male older than the female than vice versa and 9 years really is nothing.

To me JiHye seem to be in a relationship with both bringing something in it. Also, they enjoy being together too......so yes at present seem to be more the OTP. Since, I decided long time back to just see what story the writer has to tell ( it is a prize winning after all) .....I am watching without guessing what may be ahead of us

He was her inspiration to study medicine, and not only that, in the same area. And the book that he gave her must also be a constant reminder of him. I think that this book was a very special memory  in all this years.  Will see...

"Doctors" episode 7 debuts July 11, Monday on SBS. Following the massive success of episode 6, the show is set to air another high-on-drama segment. The upcoming installment will see the doctors perform a high-risk surgery. Meanwhile, Jin Seo-woo (Lee Sung-kyung) questions Yoo Hye-jung (Park Shin-hye) about her romance with Hong Ji-hong (Kim Rae-won). Here are spoilers and promo for the next chapter of the series. Read on to find out what happens next.

In the previous episode, Yoo Hye-jung begins to investigate her grandmother's death. In an attempt to find the truth, she needs the file that contains details from the day she was admitted to the hospital and died. Hong Ji-hong is able to get the file and give it to Yoo Hye-jung. He also promises to help her find the truth. Their meeting takes a romantic turn when it starts to pour and the couple shares their first ever kiss.

Meanwhile, Director Jin reveals his plan for taking over the hospital and Seo-woo is forced to decide the wedding date. See-woo tells Yoon-doo about her past with Hye-jung.

Moving on to "Doctors" episode 7. The network has released a promo video teasing the events of the seventh installment. Looking at the preview, fans can expect to see Hong Ji-hong take on a tricky case that will impact the career of an aspiring archer. The promo opens with Hong Ji-hong discussing the problems of his new patient, who suffers tremors in her hands.

Next shot shows him explaining that they are going to do an "awake surgery." He explains to her that the operation will be performed while she is still conscious. The patient looks a bit distressed but Hong Ji-hong seems quite confident.

Next, the promo for episode 7 teases a conversation between See-woo asks Yoo Hye-jung how far she has gone with Hong Ji-hong. It seems she knows about the kiss and she suggests her to marry Hong Ji-hong. Also, Hong Ji-hong tells Jung Yoon-do that they need to talk and it must remain between the two. still waiting to see Hye Jung's struggle to become a neurosurgeon against all odds! That should be worth watching if shown well. Do feel Soo Chul will be very much part of it simply because there was no one else left and she did leave with him after her farewell scene with JH 13 years ago......lastly.....because in synopsis we are told that SC has a big impact on her life.......it definitely cannot be the bike rides and snubbing him...

we should see it told at some appropriate moment .....

Don't think I have seen this pic below......will we see SC this week? If there is back story...then yes, I believe so....maybe at the doctors party that will be held at Hawaii Cafe ? ( idk if that's the correct name)
