Let me drop by and share opinions and love to this thread. Sorry for the late response, net lag, info lag and so on. Thank you for the recapping and commenting coming from you all DotS troopers. Sorry if one has mentioned and posted this before, as I m just showing my admiration and compliments to both shk and sjk, I even too much in love with his acting here. 

His acting is so alive (sorry if I compare this with jis',  jis was good in acting dying scene but I really have to tell you sjk' dying scene is much more impressive). Thank you song joong ki. Your tear completes the pain and sadness you try to show us and I must say salute.

I agree with @joongkyo, product placement today was a bit too much, and not necessarily done in a subtle and nice way. Anyway, it is bound to happen but when you really notice it, well then it needs to be done differently.

I am a bit mad and annoyed that such an accident happened so quickly after they came back from Urk. Basically, for more or less 12 episodes, it was all about Dr. Kang trying to accept her feelings for SJ despite his job and the dangers linked to them, and then, well this happened... It feels a bit counter-productive for it to happen so soon IMO. I know they are on a schedule and that there are only 16 episodes... but still!!

Also, I felt some problems as well: like kissing while driving, not wearing a bullet proof vest in duty (I thought they had to, no?), etc. At times, it felt rather sloppy. I hate saying that because it looks like I am a super demanding viewer... but I just felt that the first 12 episodes were rather well paced and then it got rushed all of the sudden by showing date scenes, tensions and then an accident so quickly after...

Oh and I have faith and I am not too worried about SJ

 

 

Hear, hear. I share most of your sentiments. Some flaws are more noticeable in this episode than in others. However, I know we try to get past them because the good usually outweighs the bad. And it is really an enjoyable watch, heck even if I watched it RAW, I enjoyed it. I am not worried about Si Jin, too. I know he will be saved and pull through this. I am at that point where I stop thinking anymore, and honestly I am one of the few who didn't expect that last scene. I will enjoy the ride until it ends. This is just the struggle which will lay the predicate to that satisfying ending.

In April 6’s episode of “Descendants of the Sun,” we finally get to see actor Yoo Ah In in his long-awaited cameo scene!

It was previously announced that Yoo Ah In would be making a short appearance on the show as a birthday present for his good friend Song Hye Kyo, who is the lead actress in “Descendants of the Sun.” He is also friends with Song Hye Kyo’s co-star Song Joong Ki, as the pair both appeared in the drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal.”

In Yoo Ah In’s brief cameo scene in “Descendants of the Sun,” he plays a comically unsympathetic bank teller who is visited by Song Hye Kyo’s character Kang Mo Yeon.

She’s desperate to get a loan finalized, but Yoo Ah In informs her that because she’s just quit her job at the hospital, she’s considered unemployed and won’t be able to take out the loan.

Kang Mo Yeon panics and asks him, “Then what should I do?” In reply, Yoo Ah In just smirks and says coldly, “Why are you asking me?” before calling out for the next customer.

@booho that is why they are geniuses. I have at the moment decided to delete the image of our dear captain lying deathly pale and instead focus on their trip to the shopping mall. I especially like the part where KMY hook arms with YSJ and they went off talking happily. Like what a NORMAL couple do. They deserve that. Some normalcy.

At first i thought SJK was wearing glove, but after re-watching it, realised that it's actually the wrist/hand brace he's wearing on the right side.  Also, it's amazing how he closes the door by pulling from the side and not the normal way of pulling the door handle, must have strong hand to have that strength to do it? i guess lol and did he just close her mouth with the same hand that took her shoes off? 

I wanna see the BTS of the scene! haha

As far as the ending goes I am still thinking and trying to take it all in.  It felt as if we were on fast forward and I wanted to pause while watching.  Seeing the North Korean AJJ  come at them almost to me seemed to easy and why at first I wondered was this a trick for our minds or in fact was he there for revenge.  I guess that's what puzzles me most why AJJ  would take the low road and attack without a fight for some reason it just didn't feel right to me.  Maybe I was giving AJJ more credit than he deserved....

WTH! SJ got shot. How can i sleep after this. It's 1:00AM at my place....i just can't get over the scene where SJ got shot. what a cliffhanger. But looking at the positive side thank god today is wednesday & we still have dots tomorrow even if there's no preview for the next episode. LOL
